I’m absolutely loving seeing all the nature that Japan has to offer. It’s what I would love to focus on when I go to Japan. I am curious though if you think you’ll ever create videos just like this but in popular cities. I’d love to see the creative vision you’d have for a video like that. But for now, we will all enjoy being spoiled with these peaceful nature videos.

That fall foliage at the lake is awesome. I dont know what it is about japans autumn that fascinates me since we have similar foliage here in germany but man, those colors look awesome. Also: great videos man, i love the fact that you show a less cheesy way of van life and most importantly the real situation with campgrounds, toilets etc. Also its refreshing to see someone vloging in a mostly unknown part of japan other than seeing shibuya crossing for the 800th time and watching people eat for half of the video. keep it up!

@@ryan_bednar Did a 2 week long drive from Yokohama's Nanohana in Aomori (where I stopped by the road station for lunch), Oirase Gorge, Hirosaki and Aomori for sakura, Shirakami Sanch, Kakunodate for more sakura, ... and ended in Ibaraki. Did not expect Akita to look as beautiful as it did, have a thought to return in autumn + Zao mountain range. Your video strengthened my will to do so. Thank you. Also did not expect to enjoy the ryokans of Tohoku as much I did. Strangely, tourist would rather go to Hiroshima, Kyushu, or Hokkaido then the much closer Tohoku.
Lovely filming, photography and scenery, and of course a super inspiring adventure! Been thinking of doing a working-holiday same as you to travel Japan before I turn 30, so it would be really interesting to hear about all of the work and logistics that went into making your journey happen :) Keep up the great work!

And last night, I binge watched all your videos 😆. 10-20mins is too short for this kind of content, please make it longer, like 1hr. 🤭. I won't be commenting on every video because often people have alreay said what i was thinking but you can be certain that i'm watching every single video. One piece of constructive criticism I will add is that sometimes there is a drop in framerate, not sure if that is on my end or something with the video but i suspect the video. It is not a dealbreaker or anything but I thought I should mention it might you not have noticed (if you can't see it on your end it must my a problem on my end and you can ignore this part). Another amazing video, dude. Possibly the best yet - although it becomes more difficult to say. Loved the vibrancy and the mesh of the fall colours in the "fall field." Wow. Again, great cinematography. Pictures (i.e. captures) were off the charts. Happy to watch you do and narrate the "cold plunge" live on air. That takes a pair (although they're probably in full retreat during the plunge). And, discovering that castle? It was pretty chill. Every bit as impressive as Neuschwanstein. Do you shoot in log? I just got into shooting log and color grading, and I imagine this must have take forever to color grade the whole video. Amazing work 🙌
@@allen.9 yup! It is a massive step to add to the editing process, especially when the ZV-E1 has built in LUTs, but getting colours how I want them is part of the creative process 😁. Luckily in DaVinci you can copy over edits to other clips like in Lightroom, then make minor adjustments. Thanks for noticing haha 🙏🏼
@@Leaksopium my van would fit although it would be tight. I’m not sure if it’s illegal or just frowned upon, but I know people do this and stealth camp. I’m personally not super down to do that so if I need to go into a city, I leave my van outside the city somewhere and take the train in.

@@liladrielle je suis d’accord mais ce n’est pas réaliste dans ma situation. Premièrement, j’ai qu’un seul an. Si je réussie à obtenir un autre visa après ça, c’est ce que je ferais. Mais maintenant, je ne sais même pas si je serais de retour au Japon, alors je dois voir au tant que je peux. Deuxièmement, mon but dans l’automne est de suivre les couleurs alors qu’ils migrent vers le sud pour que je puisses les voir le plus longtemps possible, alors je dois toujours bouger.
