no offence but unity graphics are so bad. You should switch to unreal engine. I know that there is a lot of adjustments when it comes to switching game engines but, it would be worth it. nice video.
The engine doesn’t do anything for graphics. All the engine does in terms of graphics is rendering and lighting. I’ll admit that unreal engine has the ability to make games look very good but that’s only because of lighting and rendering, not because of the graphics. On top of that, Unity has the ability to do basically everything that the unreal engine can do that is actually necessary in a short game like this. I’m not saying unity is better or unreal engine is better, they’re both amazing engines but I prefer unity for now. Unity doesn’t do anything for the graphics though. I might try out unreal engine soon though Edit: spelling
@@sharkgamesdev ok i mean hey, if you are comfortable in unity then who am i to hate. Some of the best games were meade in unity. I just like unreal for the easy to use graphics and lighting quality that well represents AAA games.
Don't be one of "those" developers with the whole childish engine discrimination. Yes, Unreal has better lighting settings out of the box, but the same results are possible in Unity with the correct adjustments. A quick adjustment would be to simply change the color grading to "ACES". Which is the default option in Unreal.
@@deviouschimp4663 oh yeah, no i do realize that when i commented it was a bit more, hostile then intended. Im sorry for that. I was just noticing that unity really doesnt have much built in lighting features ither then the bare minimum. With can be good for custom light rendering. But i do understand that unity is clearly one of the best game engines created. It just isnt ideal for game jams, because wasting an entire day creating dynamic lighting systems could be a hinderance when ue5 (by default) can create AAA graphics without lifting a finger. But in exchange for Unreal's built-in features, its harder to customize. lol sorry for the paragraph just making sure you get my stance. Overall I do understand that unity is one of the best engines. And no one can take that away from the engine.
That jumpscare at the end got me good
