I told you on Part 1, but I will tell you again. You are having a hard time finding clues because you've been running around and panning your camera like a mad man. My tip was, walk slowly and pan your camera slowly, and remember, witcher sense is your number 1 sense when investigating and finding clues or even finding loots. Most clues are on the ground, so just like a hunter following tracks, you should looks on the ground more often and slowly follow the tracks, not running around left and right blindly. Get use to walk slowly in this game, I notice you having a hard time even looting plants because you just won't stop running everywhere, stop pushing that analog sticks all the way all the time. Another tip, for combat, use the Dodge(B button) more instead of Roll(A Button), Dodge is more faster and smoother and you will get more opportunities to hit back, as it's too far to counter hit after you roll. Only roll when enemies using big aoe moves.
Heres some tips in case you read the comments. I don't know if you're further than this ATM but i'll leave it here anyway: There are 2 types of food buffs. Food buffs aren't instant heals like in skyrim. They are a slow regeneration buff. To get both of them, eat solid food (bread, honeycomb, etc) and drink something (water, milk, etc.) Stay away from the *Gourmet* perk in the "General" tree. It will trivialize the game when it comes to healing. Only get it if you are really struggling with the game. There are also potions that can heal you (Swallow), but those are also regeneration buffs, not instant heals. You can have both regen buffs from food AND the regen from potions active at the same time. Also, get used to using Witcher Senses ALL the time. They highlight all lootable things and all quest objectives (the detective stuff, the red stuff). Many quests in the The Witcher 3 don't even require you to have any HUD to complete if you just follow the red and listen to the NPCs/Geralt.
**"Stay away from the Gourmet perk in the "General" tree. It will trivialize the game"** That is completely a personal choice and a bad, pushy chunk of advice to try to sell as as some kind of objective truth. Let the man make his own choices.
me too, I literally want to have a witcher 3 vid to watch every meal, and I dont want it too be too much edited, the more you leave the better, only rare exception where you can edit out parts, but really everything is watchable with TW3;)@@KingdomAce
There are five places of power in white orchard. I always grab all of those before I do the Griffin contract and do every single side quest just so I'm as powerful as possible before I'm forced to leave the area.
First 15 minutes and I already love how you go through the game and explain your thoughtprocesses and decisionmaking. It's really nice to see someone without much background knowledge of the world and the characters navigate this world and make decisions. You asked about the Nilfgaard-Northern-War and again I'm only 15 minutes into this video, so I don't know if it gets further explained later. But allow me to give a brief overlook of the sides involved: 1. Nilfgaard: Based on the Roman Empire, it's the invaders from the south. Extremely chauvinistic, considers the Northerners to be barbarians that deserve to be enslaved and colonized. 2. The Northern Realms: Consisting of more than a dozen major and minor kingdoms. Most relevant to the game are: Temeria (where most this game takes place), Redania and the Skellige Islands. They might seem like the noble underdogs struggling for their independence, but are incredibly racist towards non-humans, killing many of them in pogroms on a regular basis. 3. Scoia'tael: Non-human (mostly elvish) guerillia fighters fighting most of the time on the side of Nilfgaard against human opression by the Northerners. But have become incredibly radicalized, hate humans as much as the Northerners hate non-humans but are twice as cruel. Also while they are ususally asslied with them, Nilfgaard is ready to throw them under the bus, if they see an advantage in it. You see there is no "good side" in this world.
Oh, believe me. At the start, the signs range from actually useless, to a decent tool... But when you actually do a build that focuses on signs, Quen goes from one-time shield to a forcefield that explodes when broken, Igni goes from a warm fart to a... well, a way to set people on fire, it still kinda sucks, and Aard goes from a light push to a frosty explosion the size of a house
Wish I could erase my memory so I could play The Witcher 3 again for the first time. Next best thing is watching you play it, I'm sure you will love it. Geralt got Ciri by the 'law of surprise' right after birth and he raised her as his own daughter but the Emperor is still her biological dad. Things seem complicated at first but will become clearer as you progress in the game. Read the books, collect the Gwent cards. Enjoy! Liked and subscribed!
I spent over 1000 hours on that game. My tips: 1. Bees do not like fire but honey is tasty. 2. Sell junk but no need looting EVERYTING. Sell often. 3. Search for WITCHER GEAR. do not run around in an army surply rags. 4. Put oils on blades. All witchers care about the blades. 5. Listen to npc talk. Story is more important than hack and slash for me at least. 6. HERE! You mention your desire to EMERSE... Hehe. Turn the damn HUD down. You still have the map. But the minimap ruins all that. It is not GTA. You mention X es on th map are useful for looting. Yeah, for noobs. YOU NOW WILD THE WITCHER SENCES.. Navigating like in real life will make you feel inside the world. LIlike I mentioned I envy you first playthrough. U just inspired me to go for my fourth one. ENJOY. Ps ROACH is a mare.
I have to say that if you just go and follow the main story and just go from main story quest to the next, you are doing yourself a disservice in this game. To be Geralt of Rivia, to be the Witcher, you need to just ride your horse through the forest, travel all the roads, any and all side quests or " ! " " ? " you come across in the field or roads you must do! This game This world is ALIVE! what you do matters, the people you encounter and help matters, you people you free, matters. I say to people playing this game that you don't just play the Witcher 3, you LIVE the Witcher 3! getting lost in the soundtrack, just exploring the open world, this game is like no other! this game came out in 2015 but it stands up to the competition in 2024. This is a timeless game, do yourself a service and live this game!
31:42 white dialogues do not affect the story (almomst most of the time), its used to get more dialgoues, if you choose yelllow dialogues direclty, you might miss on the white dialogue
the game world is beautiful and filled with llittle secrets and details. if you are always running, you are missing out. i played it all out, basically, walking, whenever it made sense, with no sense of hurry. and the game rewarded me in spades because of it. i dont think its for everyone, but... walk for a moment, take in the air of a land ravaged by war, monsters...
Gourmet, the ability you're considering at 44:26 is going to be a requirement if you plan to remain on this difficulty. It essentially brings back health regeneration for 20 minutes if you eat any food item.
35:00 - if you run out of food, it puts any booze you have into the consumable slot ... so you take booze instead (still heals you - but your vision goes all squiffy!)
I'm glad you mentioned that Slavic culture is underrepresented in games and media overall. This is also why the Netflix series was such a flop among other things, they replaced the Slavic fantasy in the series with just generic fantasy. The Witcher was a huge success among other things because Slavic culture is something new to "Westerners", we all know about Vikings, Romans, Samurais, the media is filled with those, Slavic culture is still something very new and worth exploring in the game industry.
i'll suggest to check character sheet, you will have more information about people around you and will feel less lost. also turn on "see all" on your map to find interest points there. they will look on map like - "?"
So yeah, not sure if other people have mentioned it, but all those questions you didn't understand at the end there only happen if you didn't import a save from the witcher 2. it's CDPR's way of filling in that information without the save if you did play the witcher 2 but can't transfer your save (from a different console for example) but for people who didn't play it, it's just a bunch of random questions that don't really mean anything. happened to me first time I played. it changes a couple of things later on in the game because CDPR loves their "continuity"
TIP: you should read the bestiary before you kill quest monsters. Information about them is acceptable as soon as you get the quest. You don't have to read all of it actually, just look at their weaknesses.
The minimap is your gps btw, the dotted line always shows you the route or even going just straight towards the arrow around the minimaps works great in most cases too
Tawny Owl is great but it's NOT a health potion. It's a stamina regen boost - allows you to cast signs with increased frequency in battle. Took me a while to figure out what it does on my first playthrough too.
I think the developers chose that “odd” place to introduce the “choose quickly” on certain dialogue options, because there weren’t really any potentially heavy consequences…sort of like “here’s a freebie for you, but next time, don’t say we didn’t warn you “. Great game; glad you’re enjoying it!
Vitality = Hit Points, just the term they use instead. So that talent that lets food lasts 20 minutes is kinda necessary for Death March, or you will spend every penny you have on food
This is not true. Gourmet trivializes healing and should only be used if you don't want to think about healing in general. It also turns healing potions into useless items. He can just learn the combat as he said before.
1:28:38 that was a very significant choice in Witcher 2. It was a game with 2 completely different campaigns. You had to pick between one of two sides, humans or elves.
I have a piece of advice, when you are later in the game, make armor and swords of the wolf school from the diagrams you can find on the map, they are very op
You should get "Gorged on Power" ability in the general tab, instead of food healing you for 10-20 seconds, it makes every food heal you for 20 MINUTES which is really good. You don't have to eat all the time and waste lots of food. Also use "Swallow" potion, it heals you fast. Btw check glossiary before fighting monsters, it shows their weaknesses. :)
Or he can get swallow and more potions and : Refreshement skill. Which will give him insta heal every time if drinks more potions, remember: refreshement
Your big fight against the griffin was very good 😼👍 You already used 5 (of 7) different systems at the same time (I'm counting "eating simple stuff" the same as taking a fighting potion). - Of course I should mention for the audience that you can also do a lot more within the systems (e.g. use other magic signs) - yes, I know this, but he has still used already a lot at this point!
Make sure you're using the correct sword for each encounter, and also double check which items you have bound to your hot-healing keys, you were drinking Tawny owl, which will help you get endurance back, but isn't helping your health at all
13:55 I think it's important to pay attention to the politics which do play a role in the ending you eventually get. Nilfgaardians might sound bad but nothing is ever truly black and white, and when picking a side you want to aid you're really only picking the lesser evil.
Good luck my man. Hope it can keep your attention. Greatest game I ever played. Graphics aside, the music, acting and ultimately the story writing is what sealed the deal. Once you do enough Witcher 3 and pay attention to the writing/dialogue, it's very hard to take other RPG games serious. There are levels you learn and for me, The Witcher 3 has the highest level of writing I've experienced in a game so far.
Potions refill after you meditate , decoctions are potions that give a long buff but they are more toxic then normal potions (on my first playthru I didn't used potions untill the endgame) they help allot, bombs to
One thing that will help you alot in your death march run is that you need to get the gourmet ability it basically heals you for 20 minutes once you eat something
Really? I've played DM and never got the gourmet skill, because there's not a single food item that takes longer than a minute (guestimate, not clocked) to fully heal you up, so basically those 20 minutes are lost, plus having alchemy skills can make you heal from toxicity, or something similar (been a minute since playing)... Imo, taking gourmet takes a point away that you could spend wiser elsewhere, without any real benefit
I recommend taking gourmet from the brown talent section, at least until you have some alchemy talents rolling and or some concoctions to get your health back up
It feels like you’re watching a friend play your favorite game, which you’re already very familiar with, and you want to suggest something useful, or comment, but the beauty is when you realize that you’ve discovered it yourself, right? I can only give a couple of tips to simplify the routine, for example, press ONLY the acceleration button while riding Roach so that the horse follows the road itself, and I also recommend meditating for an hour after each battle to restore all health, plus the sooner you craft the “swallow” potion , the faster you can deal with strong opponents. The great convenience is that you don’t need to craft them again, there are few of them, but they are restored after meditation. Don’t rush to click on yellow lines in dialogues if there are white ones. The white ones are optional, they're interesting to listen to in addition, but if you press the yellow ones right away, you'll miss them. Watching decisions you being made, I tempted to say “yeah, dude, you have no idea where this will lead,” although your choices are very similar to mine. I hope you have a lot of fun of this game, it's much better than the Netflix series.
I recommend reading the character glossary, it will help you understand the world and Geralt's relationships, it will make it easier for you to make decisions. Especially if you haven’t read the books which game is based on. Can’t wait to see how will you go through the game ❤
Make every bomb, decoction, and potions when you can, you only have to make them once and stay in your inventory and when you use them you just have to meditate to get all your charges again and oils you just got to re apply 👍🏽
I been watching you since the first Skyrim videos and I enjoy your content. I wanted to give a few non-spoiler tips if that is ok. Eating food multiple times doesn't help it just goes through food fast, also there is a general perk that lets your food buff last 20 minutes instead of like 2, that is helpful till you get Swallow and other healing potions. I hope this information helps. Keep up the good work . :-)
Sorry for my English, is not my first language. One thing hard to understand is to how extent Geralt is a grounded character: the games take place after the books. He has a past and a personality already stablished. There are choices in the game, sure... but I find interesting how the ones Geralt would never pick (that players who don't know the books could choose out of curiosity maybe) usually have the worst outcomes. For example Geralt would never take money from Emhyr, out of principle. The choice is there, but like I said: you don't want to do things Geralt wouldn't do. To have more context from the books about why... The Emperor wanted to marry and impregnate his own daughter Ciri against her will (because of an old prophecy) and of course both Geralt and Yennefer (that consider Ciri their adoptive daughter) hate Emhyr. The fact they are even working with him shows how desperate the situation is.
You gotta start carrying food . That’s how you heal. Or potions as well but not sure if you get that until a little later. You gotta find the recipes .
Ive noticed the problems with ur crossbow. You can tag the enemy and crossbow will shoot in their direction OR you can use aim for slow motion manual hit ( dont know which button is assigned on ur controller).
Well Ciri is his daughter , She is daughter of Princess Pavetta and Duny Urcheon(hedgehog) of Erlenwald . Duny had been cursed at the age of 13 by a mage hired by a usurper of the Nilfgaardian throne. Some time ago Gerald saved grandfather of Ciri but as there was no contract on the beasts he killed then , he could not ask for reward , however its a custom if left without choice he can only ask for one thing to which is attached kind riddle ''You will give me something when u come home that you dont know or expect to have '' in which case 9/10 it was a baby so Ciri became Geralds reward. Orignally we have been told that both parents of Ciri died , drowned while sea voyage however we then late coming to know that only Ciri's mother drowned and father Duny is alive and he is Emhyr King of Nilfgard. SOme also say that Ciri's mother death wasnt an accident
Oooow yea thank you for your work,I really like to watching your gameplay, greetings from Poland 🇵🇱 I'm happy that you are enjoying our game. They are book's as well or audiobooks if you don't have time reading look it up.They are about everything what happen before the game lore.
if u learn to use dodge instead of roll it can help u with keeping the flow of the fight more smooth it also dont bite ur stamina and allows u to „dance” around ur enemy from the left to the right and keeps u close enough to attack roll is cool but it is necessary only against bigger creatures with area damage in their arsenal
"Quen trivializes the game" ??! Bru... it's deathmarch. A freaking gatling gun wouldn't trivialize the game! 😂 Please, please keep getting involved in any amd all side quests!
I hope after many hours of play and with the difficulty level "Death Marsh" it is not a spoiler to give the following explanation of the combat system: While the roll takes a long time and gets you far away, "Dodge" works just as well on defense, with the difference that you are close after the enemy attack and can act again sooner. - Just an explanation of game mechanics for someone who has choosed the hardcore fighting experience - and there will be very difficult fights ;-)
you need to use potions and decoctions. I am just replaying on death march (did it originally on normal) and decoctions make it so easy. I am lvl 13 using ekimmara and wyvern decoctions regularly and cant talk foes 10+ my lvl edit: at a lower lvl i think the arch griffin decoction can be useful as it boosts resistances per damage taken
33:55 see you are using the potion but not the everluce (or any food)? It's because you are using the joystick , if you were in keyboard you would have 4 quick keys to eat anything you want and drink any potion you have (in the future)
wow playing both mass effect and witcher in the same time you're a brave man lol. they are both my faves of all time but they are also both heavily immersive and massive and story driven so it takes a lot to play both at the same time lol. have fun
You're prompted to take the gold or not mostly because different players will make different decisions. Some players think Geralt's personality is that he is a Witcher, but that's not the case. Books aside, you roleplay him how you see fit. Another player might not want to align with the Nilfgaardians, and would rather not take their coin at the point as they are Temerian supporters, like Vesimir. Others might take it because they support Nilfgaard and like the change they're bringing, and others might think a Witcher always takes coin, but that isn't the case.
Always use your shield spell before entering combat that offers a free hit you can take without loosing health, and when you got hit which means loosing the shield use instantly the shield spell again. Also meditate in a save wider distance from enemies before you enter combat in order to fill up your life bar In combat with several opponents but also encountering a strong opponent hit 2-3 times (=1 or 2 light strikes +1 hard strike as a combo) then instantly roll either back or sidewards and then instantly hit 2-3 times again and roll again...and so on..that´s the basic combat but with time and practice you will also use then counterstrikes or attack spells inbetween that basic routine here and there ...and when you have become good in that then play on higher difficulties because at higher difficulties blocking which you then have to add to the routine becomes vital as well.
I noticed on the last stream you selected the dx12 version of the game, but then you purposefully turned off raytracing during setup. Stick to dx11 in that case, it runs way better with the exact same non-raytracing settings as on dx12. Raytracing which comes available for the dx12 version isn't too well optimized in any case.... but then if you have no intention of using it at all like you already do then dx11 is surely the way to go for even more frames and smoother gameplay than a non-raytraced dx12 playthrough, way less laggy. Give your pc the wiggle room to stretch its legs. Anyone know the specs though?

I don't know if you're further than this ATM but i'll leave it here anyway:
There are 2 types of food buffs. Food buffs aren't instant heals like in skyrim. They are a slow regeneration buff. To get both of them, eat solid food (bread, honeycomb, etc) and drink something (water, milk, etc.)
Stay away from the *Gourmet* perk in the "General" tree.
Yess! I was just looking for something to watch while I eat, perfect time for part 2!
Thanks for your support, I hope you enjoy and i look forward to seeing you again 🙏🏾❤️
me too, I literally want to have a witcher 3 vid to watch every meal, and I dont want it too be too much edited, the more you leave the better, only rare exception where you can edit out parts, but really everything is watchable with TW3;)@@KingdomAce
Drinks an entire beer in one gulp: "Why is my vision all fucked up?"
But allow me to give a brief overlook of the sides involved:
1:15 don't rush the game, take your time brother, enjoy the world
Oh, believe me.
My tips:
ENJOY.
Ps
ROACH is a mare.
It makes the game way to easy. There is so much food you can carry it is basically unlimited healing at all times.
Bro using Tawny Owl thinking it's a health potion :D
Basically you can collect everything by being next to the usual npc / villagers, you just have to watch out for the guards
Great stream, Ace. This game only gets better from here. Can't wait to see more.
My dude thank you for your existance, you are now my evening de-stress
So yeah, not sure if other people have mentioned it, but all those questions you didn't understand at the end there only happen if you didn't import a save from the witcher 2. it's CDPR's way of filling in that information without the save if you did play the witcher 2 but can't transfer your save (from a different console for example)
but for people who didn't play it, it's just a bunch of random questions that don't really mean anything. happened to me first time I played. it changes a couple of things later on in the game because CDPR loves their "continuity"
TIP:
you should read the bestiary before you kill quest monsters. Information about them is acceptable as soon as you get the quest. You don't have to read all of it actually, just look at their weaknesses.
The minimap is your gps btw, the dotted line always shows you the route or even going just straight towards the arrow around the minimaps works great in most cases too
The really funny bit is that he is still in White Orchard (Training grounds )
Damn man, WoW, Bloodborne and now Witcher? good taste mate, gonna follow your playthrough. Have fun!
6:00 those bee hives if you use igni on them or aard (I think) the bees will go away and the hive will drop honey which are great sources for food
Tip for you:Be sure to get a swallow, it will help you regenerate your health bar. Use it during combat when your health bar drops
yeah its a different type of heal that can be stacked with food for doubling healing
@@glaziumtck8593 I never thought about it like that. I guess I was just always worried that I would hit a brick wall due to healing restrictions
1:28:38 that was a very significant choice in Witcher 2. It was a game with 2 completely different campaigns. You had to pick between one of two sides, humans or elves.
Geralt wears a medallion that vibrates when he's near magic or trouble - so that's shown by your controller vibrating
I have a piece of advice, when you are later in the game, make armor and swords of the wolf school from the diagrams you can find on the map, they are very op
If you feel interested, Emhyr is voiced by Charles Dance (Tywin Lannister)
Make sure you're using the correct sword for each encounter, and also double check which items you have bound to your hot-healing keys, you were drinking Tawny owl, which will help you get endurance back, but isn't helping your health at all
lol and then you drank everluce which made you drunk in the middle of a fight but at least it healed you a bit
It's good to see you're having fun. Regards
13:55 I think it's important to pay attention to the politics which do play a role in the ending you eventually get. Nilfgaardians might sound bad but nothing is ever truly black and white, and when picking a side you want to aid you're really only picking the lesser evil.
Temeria fights for freedom but their good king Foltest is already dead (he died in the previous game) and good kings are rare.
Play as you wish bro, dont care about yappers who say "its broken dont play it🤓☝"
Potions refill after you meditate , decoctions are potions that give a long buff but they are more toxic then normal potions (on my first playthru I didn't used potions untill the endgame) they help allot, bombs to
One thing that will help you alot in your death march run is that you need to get the gourmet ability it basically heals you for 20 minutes once you eat something
I recommend taking gourmet from the brown talent section, at least until you have some alchemy talents rolling and or some concoctions to get your health back up
Swallow potions are your healing potions. Crucial to get them.
I hope you have a lot of fun of this game, it's much better than the Netflix series.
meditating does not heal him here.
@@albert-i2d4rdoes the level of difficulty affect the ability to restore health through meditation?
yeap! But he gets to restore potions@@Dan-ks2qw
it does@@Dan-ks2qw
I recommend reading the character glossary, it will help you understand the world and Geralt's relationships, it will make it easier for you to make decisions. Especially if you haven’t read the books which game is based on. Can’t wait to see how will you go through the game ❤
Enjoyed the watch a lot. :D Did you notice that the Emperor is voiced by Charles Dance?
Make every bomb, decoction, and potions when you can, you only have to make them once and stay in your inventory and when you use them you just have to meditate to get all your charges again and oils you just got to re apply 👍🏽
Lets go bois, been waiting for some more witcher gameplay!
29:20 my guy you are on deathmarch, everything is fair game
Bro still has yet to eat his way back to full health once
I been watching you since the first Skyrim videos and I enjoy your content. I wanted to give a few non-spoiler tips if that is ok. Eating food multiple times doesn't help it just goes through food fast, also there is a general perk that lets your food buff last 20 minutes instead of like 2, that is helpful till you get Swallow and other healing potions. I hope this information helps. Keep up the good work . :-)
Also if get any places of power you find, they give extra perk points....very useful.
1:20:20 "Excuses Excuses" - here we go again
When you're in Battle lock your ennemy, like in dark souls games ^^
Ive noticed the problems with ur crossbow. You can tag the enemy and crossbow will shoot in their direction OR you can use aim for slow motion manual hit ( dont know which button is assigned on ur controller).
Quite enjoyable watching your playthrough
The birds yu hear singing are origin europien, there are no fantasy, nice
In the early game, I think you should get gourmet in the general skill tab while you don't have any healing potions.
My friend you need to use witcher sense like all the time, yellow glow is free to take red is stealing.
Well Ciri is his daughter , She is daughter of Princess Pavetta and
Duny
Urcheon(hedgehog) of Erlenwald .
They are book's as well or audiobooks if you don't have time reading look it up.They are about everything what happen before the game lore.
you need to put points in axi because you will be lvl checked during quest that you can use axi to help with
if u learn to use dodge instead of roll it can help u with keeping the flow of the fight more smooth
it also dont bite ur stamina and allows u to „dance” around ur enemy from the left to the right and keeps u close enough to attack
roll is cool but it is necessary only against bigger creatures with area damage in their arsenal
"Quen trivializes the game" ??! Bru... it's deathmarch. A freaking gatling gun wouldn't trivialize the game! 😂
Please, please keep getting involved in any amd all side quests!
Awesome man thank you. Started a whole new play through last night cause of you. Only this time im trying it out on my switch lol.
My fav game of all time I can’t wait for u to get to all my fav bits
I hope after many hours of play and with the difficulty level "Death Marsh" it is not a spoiler to give the following explanation of the combat system: While the roll takes a long time and gets you far away, "Dodge" works just as well on defense, with the difference that you are close after the enemy attack and can act again sooner. - Just an explanation of game mechanics for someone who has choosed the hardcore fighting experience - and there will be very difficult fights ;-)
i enjoy these, thanks :)
greetings from germany
Pls. set your map to ALL
Try to only use one health item at a time because they don't stack so you'll have wasted the healing time of the first one. Just a heads up!
Loot weapons and armor and sell it. Best way to get money.
you need to use potions and decoctions. I am just replaying on death march (did it originally on normal) and decoctions make it so easy. I am lvl 13 using ekimmara and wyvern decoctions regularly and cant talk foes 10+ my lvl
edit: at a lower lvl i think the arch griffin decoction can be useful as it boosts resistances per damage taken
33:55 see you are using the potion but not the everluce (or any food)? It's because you are using the joystick , if you were in keyboard you would have 4 quick keys to eat anything you want and drink any potion you have (in the future)
Oh no you killed Letho, you're gonna miss an awesome quest 😢
1:02:35 no problem with right or left if you were in keyboard lol
wow playing both mass effect and witcher in the same time you're a brave man lol. they are both my faves of all time but they are also both heavily immersive and massive and story driven so it takes a lot to play both at the same time lol. have fun
I just finished all my homework and this dropped
Also meditate in a save wider distance from enemies before you enter combat in order to fill up your life bar
In combat with several opponents but also encountering a strong opponent hit 2-3 times (=1 or 2 light strikes +1 hard strike as a combo) then instantly roll either back or sidewards and then instantly hit 2-3 times again and roll again...and so on..that´s the basic combat but with time and practice you will also use then counterstrikes or attack spells inbetween that basic routine here and there ...and when you have become good in that then play on higher difficulties because at higher difficulties blocking which you then have to add to the routine becomes vital as well.
He plays on deathmarch, meditating does not heal
great video, waiting for the next one👊
I noticed on the last stream you selected the dx12 version of the game, but then you purposefully turned off raytracing during setup. Stick to dx11 in that case, it runs way better with the exact same non-raytracing settings as on dx12.
Raytracing which comes available for the dx12 version isn't too well optimized in any case.... but then if you have no intention of using it at all like you already do then dx11 is surely the way to go for even more frames and smoother gameplay than a non-raytraced dx12 playthrough, way less laggy.
Give your pc the wiggle room to stretch its legs. Anyone know the specs though?
close camera is better, makes the gaming exprience more immersive.
using quen is perfectly fine... not using potions, especially healing potions makes this more painful then it has to be
Number one role playing rule I follow when playing Geralt: don’t lower yourself for anyone, and never respect Emir😂
One of us 😁
In for the long haul 🙏🏾 I hope you'll continue to join me on this journey
You miss so much of the beautiful scenes of the game being always in the dark, use meditation.
