Totally different products, one is an adapter form canon ef to sony, the other is to use full frame glass on apsc sensors, the viltrox isn't even ment to be used on full frame cameras and you are wasting half of the sensor by using that adapter
Well yes and no. for Sony a7IV shooters it comes in handy since 4K is cropped on many full frame bodies. Agree just for photo its wasted. But he is testing (cropped) video ...
Love the videos! I need some help. I have an A7r3 and I just bought the EF-E II adapter and upgraded it to V1.81. When in video mode the focus box goes on the models face but it doesn't focus at all? I have it set to CDAF. Am I missing something? Thanks! :)
@@thefantasyfootballhub I just got the A7siii and it doesn't recognize the adapters at all in video, straight to M mode. I'd have to check the firmware but I'm thinking they disabled autofocus with other lenses in video out. Photo mode is amazing.

how about ef nex iv vltrox adapter in video eye autofocus function are the same with viltrox ef e2 or ef e5 adapter ?
yes it works the same if you use A7s III and probably A7 IV
yeah.....its horrendous. Completely unusable is Video and barely usable for stills. This was using L glass with the A7SIII.

Yes with black circle outlines. Or switch to APS-C crop mode with lower resolution
Sigma 18-35 is designed for APS-C; instead, you could go for the 24-35 F2 Full Frame Lens. 😁
