You should smoke the bluefish. We catch them from time to time down this Way. I was surprised how good they are smoked.
Sooner or later *everything* swims in the surf. That uncertainty is part of the fun. 👍

Have you been out post-storm??? In Florida many years ago, I was told that the best place to fish following storms was at stormwater outfalls, where the alpha critters would line-up waiting for the tasty surprises that would magically roll out of the end of the pipe!

I really enjoy all your videos and have been for many years now. Yours, IMHO is the best of all the US, UK and Aussie channels I follow. However, my only constructive criticism to you and particularly certain UK channels is that chest mounted GoPros are not compatible with a good viewer experience. The frame is so dominated by arms, hands, reel and rod butt that all the action in the water is usually totally obscured. It is also an unnatural view point which is a bit disconcerting.
Thank you for all the pleasure and entertainment you have brought me and all your viewers over the years. I hope you are able to continue for many more.

Love all the fishing you show. Ya usually can't go wrong with the surf fishing. Hopefully, the storm wasn't too bad down there. Here in the Piedmont, we got some rain and high winds, but not too much damage. Here's to more videos.
I have 2 of those bait boxes and both have busted a latch for the back hinges. Picked up an Engel and the metal latches are better in my opinion. Use the Magellan ones now to keep bait alive at home and the Engel travels with me. Great video sir!

That's just about every experience I've had down here surf fishing. Blues, sharks, rays, and random non-sport fish. Good you got the spanish and flounder though. Hope you didn't have any issues with the storm. I know it was quite a ways inland, but I heard about some damage out at the beach.

There was a ring around the sun the day before the storm. It happened throughout the day.

Really don’t know how that hook stays put and the mullet does run loose or a fish yanks it off. The best method for me is kale/ croaker straight through the chin and up to its nose

How do your paddle trails work on the surf?
They get bit, but if theres Spanish or blues around they will get bit in half alot.
Avoid toothy critters and they’ll catch trout and reds.
If you get me that rod, I will fix your broken guide. I live close.

Slice thru the gills out of the throat to bleed them! Put the fish in a cooler box or bag, or keep in shade.
Prepare them to eat, they are better eaten fresh from the sea.
