We have been planning to get a car. After many thoughts and showroom experience we have settled for i20 (manual) (my parents loved it over i10, venue, Swift etc). However for the past few weeks I've been confused between normal i20 and n line. I'm a 26yr old male been in mad love for cars since childhood. This is the first car in the family and main purpose is to take my parents is comfort to places and for me to enjoy driving obviously. Most will be in city with occasional Highways. I love to drive but haven't driven much cars previously. Driven i20 a little, Swift and Alto a bit. but not nline yet. Now my dilemma is i20 asta or nline N6 ! Both has few compramises over the other in terms of performance or features. My main fear about the n line is 1L 3cylinder engine and many ppl said the suspension is stiff, especially in city it's hard. Being a middle class family it will be in the family for atleast for next 10yrs. Since it will be here for a long time and being our first car, I'm really confused. Please share your valuable thoughts
Go with the Asta. Mostly you are gonna use it for family purpose, and the NA 1.2 4 cylinder is smoother and produces enough grunt to keep you happy. Also if you are looking for long term ownership, then, 4 cylinders are inherently more reliable than 3 cylinders. After owning the car for at least 3-4 years, if you feel like you need more power, then you can always go for aftermarket options. That additional boost that the turbocharger provides will come at a higher gas price. So considering cost per return, Asta model with manual transmission is the better choice.
Go for N-Line, the feel of regular i20 vs n-line is different while driving it. I own n8 dct and it's such a joy to ride this one! The only downside, it's a fuel hungry car no matter where you drive it.
I’m currently using ford ecosport diesel and i have recently taken the test drive for the same N8 DCT, after driving it i felt that it didn’t match the steering feedback and handling characteristics that ford offers. And i feel 15L for top end model is too much costly. It’s just my opinion. BTW, this is a good scenario that you have chosen a evening time scenario that helps us better to judge the headlights of the the car Nice video brother❤
