Very nice job. I try not to let mine get too dirty and only use it when the sun shines (so not at all this month). The older they get, the nicer these original Z4s appear.
one tip if you use a warm water with clay its working like 40% better and dont spray all over that stuf diractly on the dash bord its better to spray on the brush beside that grate job man
Lovely job! The soft top is the hardest to keep clean and like yours mine doesn't fully retract and sit flush although the motor is working fine, it's relocated. BMW seemingly recomemd that you put the roof down for 48 hours and it restores its fold memory. Ive no garage so I can't try it.
Good effort. I strongly suggest investing in a DA or rotary polisher - a drill with a pad works fine for headlights but I bet was a nightmare for the bodywork. You'll also have a better choice for pad compounds too..
I'm not very happy with the fact that you're doing this where you're doing it. The dirty water and chemical products will penetrate the soil. That's polluting. Could you consider doing your detailing in a more appropriate place?

All these products are bio degradable 😂
