I'm so glad the Derby/Darter got fixed. They were just kinda shit before and now they are one of the most competent Fox 3s in the game. What a turn around, coming from being probably bottom 3. Now I'd say overall, with it's maneuverability, range, and just performance in general, I'd put it at 2nd, just behind the 120. But as shown in the graphs and data, the Derby/Darter actually have advantages over the 120 now, whereas they were simply worse in every way before the fixes

Is AAM-4 worse than AIM-120A, it is further in a modifications tree, shouldn't it be superior considered it's newer?
Not necessarily, the AAM-4 actually has better engines but more drag so it’s an interesting balance
Is it worth it to continue grinding the ussr aviation three now ? And bu the way is the r-27er still good against those missiles ?
Sure all the fox 3s are great, just some are better, and yeah
