@@vegancardigan subs have been on the decline, classic is having major player retention issues because of GDKP and players now only letting players in runs based off parse, so it's become a sweaty toxic hellhole and casual enjoyers are leaving in droves. PVP cheating is a massive issue in arena, and retail isn't doing too hot either. Sure it might still be doing decently well enough, but it's been on a decline for awhile. And SoD, whatever happened there..

You remember when Genshin was still a game first, nowadays everything is repetitive and low effort, they have a really solid base but they are feeling the safety and it's gonna take something like Wuthering to make them put some effort again.
The world being dull is intentional for two reasons: 1. It's post apocalyptic making it lore accurate. 2. The animations and effects are designed with that backdrop in mind which elevates the experience.
I'm leaving. May return to Genshin for major story updates and to destroy the spiral abyss with my Neuvillete in 5 seconds each month. Wuwa combat just looks so fun
kurogames certainly have proven with both pgr and wuthering waves they actively listen to feedback and quickly too. as they quickly made changes from cbt1 to cbt2 aka rewrote basically the whole story cause people didnt like it and from cbt2 to coming up launch they again made more highly requested improvements. kurogames are also very generous with rewards for f2p players. whoever said"you shouldnt be streaming the cbt" is an idiot since all cbts were publicly allowed to be streamed by kurogames and even has a channel in their discord that people could post their footage from cbt lol. with ww combat you can just go around using 1 character and clear all the content in the game if you wanted to do so doing tthat isnt possible in genshin. also ww has actual combos that require timing to do as well as aerial combat and leaping off walls to do an attack etc none of that exists in genshin ww also has parries and perfect dodges again dosent exist in genshin

I’m definitely in the continuing to play Dailies Impact but prioritizing time in WuWa camp. Listen I’m a 1.1 player who’s even had a second challenge account for over a year, and when I tell you it was so fun and refreshing to play in WuWa’s CBT2 like holy shit actually functional dodge and movement abilities, wow. Story seems like it may have bit of a consistently darker tone too (why does one of my fav characters have death flags already?) which is appreciated because those are my favorite parts of Genshin’s own story when they come up. I also don’t expect WuWa to be a “Genshin killer” but I sure do agree that I hope it succeeds to give Hoyo a bit of competition so they’ll maybe actually try being innovative again. I think most players are reasonable and would agree with that whether they want to play WuWa or not, but still the amount of people I see shitting on WuWa for existing and white knighting for one of the evaluated top 15 richest private companies and no. 1 for gaming in the world is actually embarrassing. 23. BILLION. DOLLAR. VALUATION. And what do they give us from all that? Extra fates? Long asked for QOL and bug fixes? How about the 18th bland and lazy doesn’t impact anything in the world Itto event. Don’t even get me started on the artifact loadouts bungle, what in the weaponized incompetence is that? Are there some similarities to Genshin sure, same can be said with Genshin in regards to Breath of the Wild as was here. But you quickly come to realize the setting, story, and combat are quite different. Actually play WuWa first and if the dialogue from world quests still has the same amount of technical errors as the beta THEN make some valid criticisms. I was already done with genshin before wuwa was even announced.. I loved genshin but after grinding for years and 0 new content.. just QoL patches and just a new 5star every couple months if I don't want to spend- just to run around and do dailies everyday with them... its not fun at all.. I even tried to get back into genshin a couple times but I honestly get sick just thinking about the grind everyday.. moving on from genshin wasn't easy for me, I spent money and TIME on the game just building characters that DON'T get used!!...... It's sad to let it go to waste because the devs refuse to make content- but I cant spend another day doing mindless daily missions just for 1/3 of a pull and do the most boring events they make easy to do for the peanut brain players. there's so much I could rant about genshin...But at this point its better to just look forward to the future of another game instead because "genshin would never" change.
Genshin will surely have some competition in the open world department but if people think that WuWa is some kind of an exception to burnout or will have zero problems then you're living in some fantasy world. It's just hype before the game releases for now. We'll have to sit and see how they handle everything from the story to the exploration to the characters to the mechanics. As of now as a person who follows the lore I don't think any story comes close in terms of detailing when we consider the number of references from real world stories whether we consider their quests, books, item lore and the main SQ and AQ. WuWa's story for me is in Aether Gazer level for now but the cutscenes are pretty good
This is such a weird controversy tbh, "I'm quitting CSGO after 2k hours and moving to Valorant" like it's almost identical other than hero's with skills. Wuwa is great for player that quit Genshin for more than a year (losing limited event item, a bunch of unfinished story) to get a fresh start. Tbh it's better to see if the game get rid of the Echoes system, most Genshin's complain other than reward are in game time, Genshin require 10-15 min loggin each day while HSR 10 min of Auto. Wuwa? 30 to A whole hour if you farm all the boss for echoes. Genshin is simply facing the old game issue, sorta like FGO (I don't play FGO btw, but i've seen complain on the Gacha and farming) player are getting tired, + the game require minimal maintain (basically considering to quit but no reason).

I play genshin enough to do events, and main/character stories. And to use resin... Also to add I been playing bloodborne for last few weeks now and the other day i just needed something chill so I got on genshin and picked flowers 😂 I really don't play much these days. I give wuwa a year before it falls off. I'm not saying it's not going to beat genshin in not even comparing them. I'm just Say'n people are upset about genshin so they're hyping up wuwa. It looks OK.

18:26 I think it's flawed at some level in the sense that Genshin forces you to depend on the teleports to complete missions and assignements because they are a pain in the ass to get trought, they are not there because of how good the mecanic is, they are there because people will get mad as fuck if you make them run to complete assignements that gives you nothing... and as a matter of fact, they are mad even with the teleports lol. But yeah, teleports are neccesary to some degree, but you shouldn't make your contet around them.
Genshin came out when i was like 12/13 i played for like 1week some weeks after the release since a friend wanted me to try it with them, dropped it, came back to it around the time inazuma was somewhat close to comming out, played it everyday for like 2 years and now i havent played it in months bcz i just cant, i'm way too fucking tired of it, i just cant do it and also i have been waiting for wuwa for 1 year since they released the 1st trailer and i really want to play it bcz it genuinely seems like a cool and fun game to play, also the fact the bosses and stuff are kinda souls like makes me happy cuz last year i got into hollow knight and also bought bayonetta some months ago which has combos but i havent played it much.
Honestly, l like Genshin lore a lot, so l hope that they at least do it justice and finish it, Fontaine was peak story they've had so far so l'm just hoping Natlan is as good or even better

I'm gonna play both. WuWa comes out a day before my bday so its just a present for me xD. I personally like Genshin but I totally understand people leaving. I don't really think anything is gonna kill Genshin since they're such a large and loved company. This will teach genshin to treat us with more respect i mean for example the "new abyss" gives 600 primos right and the old one gives the same expept it resets twice a month meaning 1800 primos but now they are setting it to only reset once a month meaning they took half the rewards and just put in into the "new abyss" so now we gotta do twice the work for the same amount of rewards not even an extra 150 primos they have no decency its disgusting 😒

Wuthering waves looks like a game i will not enjoy. I dont like that kind of combat. I dont like combat that requires combos and dodging and perfect timing parry and aerial juggling. And really my favorite part of genshin is open world exploration with puzzles and chest hunting. I use building characters to pass the time between map expansions. Im curious to see how the higher specs required for natlan either push players to quit or boost new phone sales.

lol, that video has so many misinformation, played the beta and i liked it, but in no way you can put anyone in your team, maybe it's okey on 1.0, but when new units come out and new challenges come out, you can't just use the same team. hell, i can use the same team in genshin in the overworld, all DPS or support and not care about anything, but in challenges you have to use certain teams.
I quit Genshin after 2 years with zero desire to go back, and tbh now my feelings toward the game are mostly negative even though i love HSR and still like Hoyo. Upgrading characters wasn't fun, bosses have un-fun and time wasting mechanics, exploration becomes more and more of a chore as time goes on.
Everything depends on how you present your point, teambuilding is a selling point for genshin, needing a fire or crafting table is immersive and that goes for everything, also this game is not even out, i bet it will have a ton of problems too, and if you can run 3 dps it is a balancing issue, wtf is the point of having any other character types? Destiny has 0 randomly generated locations, raids are linear, there was 1 seemingly endless location, but only if you do it wrong and it was 2 week long lore heavy event
You can have 3 DPS but they qta can boost some character but the actual booster and healer are still better than the DPS which is why they're needed. The only people who'll run a full Dps team if they have some synergy are sweat, casual will run a normal as they always do.

Will wuwa kill genshin? No it won't, that game get a steady flow of new players and is on console. Will Wuwa die? I doubt it. The game only need to make a fraction of what genshin makes to be a success. With time it may pass genshin, but we will need to wait and see.
Wuwa's character design has too much Chinese aesthetic; even in Genshin and HSR, there are only a few I like. I hope they add more characters with various design concepts.

PVP cheating is a massive issue in arena, and retail isn't doing too hot either. Sure it might still be doing decently well enough, but it's been on a decline for awhile. You remember when Genshin was still a game first, nowadays everything is repetitive and low effort, they have a really solid base but they are feeling the safety and it's gonna take something like Wuthering to make them put some effort again.
The world being dull is intentional for two reasons: 1. It's post apocalyptic making it lore accurate. 2. The animations and effects are designed with that backdrop in mind which elevates the experience.
I'm leaving. May return to Genshin for major story updates and to destroy the spiral abyss with my Neuvillete in 5 seconds each month. Wuwa combat just looks so fun
kurogames certainly have proven with both pgr and wuthering waves they actively listen to feedback and quickly too. as they quickly made changes from cbt1 to cbt2 aka rewrote basically the whole story cause people didnt like it and from cbt2 to coming up launch they again made more highly requested improvements. kurogames are also very generous with rewards for f2p players. whoever said"you shouldnt be streaming the cbt" is an idiot since all cbts were publicly allowed to be streamed by kurogames and even has a channel in their discord that people could post their footage from cbt lol. with ww combat you can just go around using 1 character and clear all the content in the game if you wanted to do so doing tthat isnt possible in genshin. also ww has actual combos that require timing to do as well as aerial combat and leaping off walls to do an attack etc none of that exists in genshin ww also has parries and perfect dodges again dosent exist in genshin

I’m definitely in the continuing to play Dailies Impact but prioritizing time in WuWa camp. Listen I’m a 1.1 player who’s even had a second challenge account for over a year, and when I tell you it was so fun and refreshing to play in WuWa’s CBT2 like holy shit actually functional dodge and movement abilities, wow. Story seems like it may have bit of a consistently darker tone too (why does one of my fav characters have death flags already?) which is appreciated because those are my favorite parts of Genshin’s own story when they come up.
I also don’t expect WuWa to be a “Genshin killer” but I sure do agree that I hope it succeeds to give Hoyo a bit of competition so they’ll maybe actually try being innovative again. I think most players are reasonable and would agree with that whether they want to play WuWa or not, but still the amount of people I see shitting on WuWa for existing and white knighting for one of the evaluated top 15 richest private companies and no. 1 for gaming in the world is actually embarrassing. 23. BILLION. DOLLAR. VALUATION. And what do they give us from all that? Extra fates? Long asked for QOL and bug fixes? How about the 18th bland and lazy doesn’t impact anything in the world Itto event. Are there some similarities to Genshin sure, same can be said with Genshin in regards to Breath of the Wild as was here. But you quickly come to realize the setting, story, and combat are quite different. Actually play WuWa first and if the dialogue from world quests still has the same amount of technical errors as the beta THEN make some valid criticisms. Until then, y’all Hoyoloyalists sound like petulant children and only help to stagnate the games and make Hoyo fan bases look even worse which just drives more people away to games like WuWa. I was already done with genshin before wuwa was even announced.. I loved genshin but after grinding for years and 0 new content.. just QoL patches and just a new 5star every couple months if I don't want to spend- just to run around and do dailies everyday with them... its not fun at all.. I even tried to get back into genshin a couple times but I honestly get sick just thinking about the grind everyday..
moving on from genshin wasn't easy for me, I spent money and TIME on the game just building characters that DON'T get used!!...... It's sad to let it go to waste because the devs refuse to make content- but I cant spend another day doing mindless daily missions just for 1/3 of a pull and do the most boring events they make easy to do for the peanut brain players.
there's so much I could rant about genshin...But at this point its better to just look forward to the future of another game instead because "genshin would never" change.

Genshin will surely have some competition in the open world department but if people think that WuWa is some kind of an exception to burnout or will have zero problems then you're living in some fantasy world. It's just hype before the game releases for now. We'll have to sit and see how they handle everything from the story to the exploration to the characters to the mechanics. As of now as a person who follows the lore I don't think any story comes close in terms of detailing when we consider the number of references from real world stories whether we consider their quests, books, item lore and the main SQ and AQ.
WuWa's story for me is in Aether Gazer level for now but the cutscenes are pretty good

This is such a weird controversy tbh, "I'm quitting CSGO after 2k hours and moving to Valorant" like it's almost identical other than hero's with skills. Wuwa is great for player that quit Genshin for more than a year (losing limited event item, a bunch of unfinished story) to get a fresh start. Tbh it's better to see if the game get rid of the Echoes system, most Genshin's complain other than reward are in game time, Genshin require 10-15 min loggin each day while HSR 10 min of Auto. Wuwa? 30 to A whole hour if you farm all the boss for echoes. Genshin is simply facing the old game issue, sorta like FGO (I don't play FGO btw, but i've seen complain on the Gacha and farming) player are getting tired, + the game require minimal maintain (basically considering to quit but no reason).

18:26 I think it's flawed at some level in the sense that Genshin forces you to depend on the teleports to complete missions and assignements because they are a pain in the ass to get trought, they are not there because of how good the mecanic is, they are there because people will get mad as fuck if you make them run to complete assignements that gives you nothing... and as a matter of fact, they are mad even with the teleports lol. But yeah, teleports are neccesary to some degree, but you shouldn't make your contet around them.
Genshin came out when i was like 12/13 i played for like 1week some weeks after the release since a friend wanted me to try it with them, dropped it, came back to it around the time inazuma was somewhat close to comming out, played it everyday for like 2 years and now i havent played it in months bcz i just cant, i'm way too fucking tired of it, i just cant do it and also i have been waiting for wuwa for 1 year since they released the 1st trailer and i really want to play it bcz it genuinely seems like a cool and fun game to play, also the fact the bosses and stuff are kinda souls like makes me happy cuz last year i got into hollow knight and also bought bayonetta some months ago which has combos but i havent played it much.
Honestly, l like Genshin lore a lot, so l hope that they at least do it justice and finish it, Fontaine was peak story they've had so far so l'm just hoping Natlan is as good or even better

Wuthering waves looks like a game i will not enjoy. I dont like that kind of combat. I dont like combat that requires combos and dodging and perfect timing parry and aerial juggling. And really my favorite part of genshin is open world exploration with puzzles and chest hunting. I use building characters to pass the time between map expansions.

lol, that video has so many misinformation, played the beta and i liked it, but in no way you can put anyone in your team, maybe it's okey on 1.0, but when new units come out and new challenges come out, you can't just use the same team.
hell, i can use the same team in genshin in the overworld, all DPS or support and not care about anything, but in challenges you have to use certain teams.

I quit Genshin after 2 years with zero desire to go back, and tbh now my feelings toward the game are mostly negative even though i love HSR and still like Hoyo. Upgrading characters wasn't fun, bosses have un-fun and time wasting mechanics, exploration becomes more and more of a chore as time goes on.
Everything depends on how you present your point, teambuilding is a selling point for genshin, needing a fire or crafting table is immersive and that goes for everything, also this game is not even out, i bet it will have a ton of problems too, and if you can run 3 dps it is a balancing issue, wtf is the point of having any other character types?
Destiny has 0 randomly generated locations, raids are linear, there was 1 seemingly endless location, but only if you do it wrong and it was 2 week long lore heavy event
You can have 3 DPS but they qta can boost some character but the actual booster and healer are still better than the DPS which is why they're needed.
The only people who'll run a full Dps team if they have some synergy are sweat, casual will run a normal as they always do.

Imma use an example: Taylor Swift’s music. I am not a fan of Taylor Swift’s music. I think it’s boring, and is getting more and more overrated by the day. She was never my go to for music to listen too back then, and she certainly isn’t that for now. There are other artists out there that I of course vibe with way more with, but I’m not out here spouting bs like hoping so and so artist is the Taylor Killer, because guess what, she ain’t going nowhere. Will wuwa kill genshin? No it won't, that game get a steady flow of new players and is on console. Will Wuwa die? I doubt it. The game only need to make a fraction of what genshin makes to be a success. With time it may pass genshin, but we will need to wait and see.
Wuwa's character design has too much Chinese aesthetic; even in Genshin and HSR, there are only a few I like. I hope they add more characters with various design concepts.

@@eddieboston6540 WuWa is a good game by itself. The thing is that Genshin does lock transformative features behind a pay wall. For example a character having a parry. In WuWa you just get one. If you think WuWa is just going to be genshin with different content you need to educate yourself

XD why the crying. Genshin players complained for a loooooong time. They had it comming. Dont listen to their players has this effect since the first game. If you dont work with your major playerbase but only for small amount of them the dissatisfied customers will look for others. And if there is something else the customers go over there. This forces the dumb to change afterall because they loose money.

As someone who played genshin since 1.2, i quit the game since i was getting so burned out and when Wuwa released,i ended up playing Wuwa for 12 hours
