There are a lot of mangrove snappers this year. I'm tearing them up on the Quintana side. I'm thinking since the snapper are thick, maybe some gag grouper are around. I think I'm going to catch some big pinfish next time I go fishing and set a rod out for grouper. I caught one years ago behind Surfside. The snapper were thick that year too.
