    I use unscented cloths detergent and bath soap. Hypoallergenic for sensitive skin works very well !

  • @idahobound1
    @idahobound1 4 года назад +9

    H2O2 is light sensitive which is why it is found in a brown bottle because it breaks down under light. Consider an opaque or dark bottle to keep light out otherwise the h2o2 could breakdown and weaken your scent blocker.

    Ok. I usually don't leave comments but i archery hunt from the ground without a blind. I kept buying those expensive scent killers. Can across this recipe and it works amazing. I had a smoke before I went into the bush. Then sprayed myself down. I have doe's with fawns within 15 feet. An have no dam clue im sitting there. So must work.

    If you notice in that Scent Away, there is a touch of scent free soap. In your ingredients you could add a teaspoon or so of scent free laundry soap or equivalent. I did a video with almost your exact ingredients, just with the added teaspoon of scent free soap. This formula was also tested by a guy I got the ingredients from using a petri dish with bacteria and it did kill the bacteria in the dish, which of course is what makes us smell. Those ozone machines do work also. Ozone kills the bacteria on cloths and if you buy a used car from a used dealership, they most likely Ozoned the inside of that car overnight to get rid of any smells. great info, thanks for sharing.

    The spray bottle should be opaqe because hydrogen peroxide will break down when exposed to light (that's why it's sold in dark brown bottles). If your bottle is semi-clear like the one in your video, you can take some black electrical tape, or duct tape, and cover the bottle.

The three most recent I watched were: 1. 2 cups water, 1/4 cup baking soda.. 2. 2 liters water, 1/4 cup baking soda(your recipe) and 3. 1/2 gallon water, 1/4 cup baking powder . This is the quickest way I know to make it and have something that works. There are other ways which involve vodka and glycerin but it takes a year to make it

      get why folks think putting estrus on them is a good idea. But, why do you want to smell like that? They can still smell you through the estrus smell. Think about those drug sniffing dogs or ones that can smell contraband food. They can smell through everything and know the exact scent molecules they are looking for. Recent studies have shown Deer have a massive sense of smell in comparison to a dog. So, don't bother smelling like estrus.

      I use straight washing soda. Get it in the laundry detergent section at the market. The box looks just like baking soda but look for “washing” soda.
      You can use just boraxo too. They’re both scent free and they both get blood stains out of my hunting outfits.
      If you have duds that get sweaty like a hat, spray or soak in straight peroxide overnight to kill the bacteria making that sour smell then rinse in water or run through the wash.

      I just use a cup or so of baking soda and a teaspoon of scent away body soap on my clothes. Works great takes blood out and has zero smell. U can add a drop of that soap to this spray recipe as well and it will make it cover more evenly

      I checked out the videos on your channel and couldn't find a video where you talk about your recipe of this scent killer spray. Can you share your recipe with me?

      How do you not know what a quarter is? Do you realize your 1/3 is one third?

      As much money as I blow every year on scent killer, I have 9 minutes to listen to you. Thanks for the tip, and good luck hunting.

      You can't get monetized unless they are long enough.

      Could also reduce it to a single sentence. Mix 2 liters water, 16 ounces 3% hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda. Unfortunately RUclips doesn't monetize 10 second videos.
