The guns are animated so well! The variety of them are much more than I originally anticipated and the gore with the guns look satisfying, speaking of looks. The new zombie models look insane! Better than current, and all past E3 zombie designs, they look like real, horrifying sick people, and the new lighting and vegetation look beautiful! Straight out of the very first 2018 trailer with stunning visuals, and it looks like you may be finally able to see now without being blinded by the sun, and blind in darkness. Tolga and Fatin’s designs look really good, hope their original voice actors are back. Overall very exciting update.
Perhaps the rumours of general Pratt having a secret stash of weapons and ammunition hidden away somewhere in the city is true question is where and how are going to find it

i really want nightmare mode to have a feature where those little uv safehouses that dont have a bed or anything are completely gone, they make night chases extremely easy, second i want them to remove the icon and noise when a volatile sees you i feel like it would make night traversal way scarier
Nightmare mode should turn off safe landing on cars. It would make the game much more intense, when u cant be safed by each car on the street, even if you jump from some scyscrapper.
I remember some side mission saying how during the outbreak the military confiscated all firearms and ammunition and then stased it all somewhere,always thought that would make a good segway into finding guns in the game.
That’s how they intended to introduce them. I thought it would be perfect way to introduce the colonel and his men as a faction choice to take the city over for.
I hope they add a new quest where tolga and Fatin help you with locating general Pratt's secret stash of weapons and ammunition hidden away somewhere in the city of even give us the blueprints for ammo or the Scorpio that would be awesome
That wouldn’t make any sense, they weren’t in villedor and the only people that would know where that stash is are the colonel and maybe some of his men. As they were loyal to Pratt.
To think that Techland goes out of their way to disregard the story laws and how guns shouldn’t be in the game, but instead add them because the community asks for it, really shows how much they care about the game! As someone who cares about both the story realism and staying true to the universes rules, this is still a win regardless. Thanks Techland ^-^

What about people screaming about the lackluster and robotic gore & physics since day one? Guns are nice, but when is the game finally catching up to DL1 in FUN factor? I just want less scripted ragdoll behavior and more dynamic blood. Will it take year 3 to see these two things?

I completed DL2 late last year and this makes me want to play it again. Techland have done an incredible job so far with this game - I wish more developers maintained their games the same way and were as open to making big changes like this. Good luck with the launch guys!

Any game company should strive to be like techland and look up to them by taking notes I'm beyond blown away by how connected they have been with fans of dying light 2 it feels like a real effort is being made and that's rare with modern gaming
I hope they add unique variants. It would be cool to see tactical versions of their weapons and custom types of weapons not just the same models over and over.

how do I report major problems that need to be fixed? Game crashes constantly on my Ps4 pro. Also we desperately need need a manual save function. i have lost my save 3 times now and that’s multiple saves not individual. one was my fault. but the other were save file corruption which is apparently unrepairable. also all the chemical gems which i’m sure others have reported have vanished.
Found this on sale at Walmart during Christmas, so my first look at the game was winter tales. I've played everyday since. Can't wait for the new update and looking foward to tower raids
I’m excited. I got the flu bad during the lunar event (actually couldn’t even sit up straight. Never had a flu actually knock me out before so that was kind of freaky 😅) so I missed out. Glad to know I won’t miss out on this now :) (I am nearly recovered, definitely long past not being able to sit up straight)
Let's gooooo, this is giving me dying light 1 vibes and that's not a bad thing. Props to techland for doing their hardest to update the game, add new content, add new events, etc. Dying light 2 is way better than it was at launch. I'm still not happy about how boring the bloody ties dlc was but that's a minor complaint. Let's hope that the next dlcs are better than bloody ties and reasonably priced. The only reason I bought bloody ties is because it was 7.99 on sale on the Microsoft store, there's no way that I was going to pay full price for it. I still feel ripped off but 7.99 is a better price than the full price they're charging for it.
Same here, it didn't make sense, plus it's funny how people at first were okay with no guns since it was supposed to be the "dark ages" (when i thought it was more of how unbalanced or broken gunplay was in Dying Light 1)

Reallllly hoping this update fixes the rain falling through the roofs, the only roof rain doesn't fall through is the bazaar, fish eye and PK ship, I want to be able to stand under any kind of shelter and feel like the rain can't get me, It's the perfect game for that feel
They should add more weapon animation to the long sword and long stick category and not just a copy of the katana animation. Make the warden long sword, barbarian sword and kensei odachi more satisfying and fun to use, give them an animation like Aiden is actually swinging a weighted long sword with skill

I think the icon can be removed on the hud options

They should add more weapon animation to the long sword and long stick category and not just a copy of the katana animation. Make the warden long sword, barbarian sword and kensei odachi more satisfying and fun to use, give them an animation like Aiden is actually swinging a weighted long sword with skill
I dont know what theyve said about it in the past, but i hope they add a be the zombie mode eventually in DL2.
