Man I miss those sweet memories of waking up super early before school just to play this game, then once I was at school I couldn’t wait to get home and play, and once I was at home playing this game I enjoyed every moment of it until I had to go to bed☺️
I’ve listened to this song so many times over the years and it still pull at my heart strings, I’m glad this video is still up after all of these years
Hate on this saga or not this game released a trilogy that I really enjoyed and made me appreciate music in media alot more because of how it connects with your emotions. To me I purchased a game that had no bugs, had great visuals and made a villain I loved so much in caius who is my fave ff character because he wasn't a bad guy at heart just his actions conflicted with lightning saving the future
I don't hate this sage or trilogy I hated FFXIII, the first one. X-III-2 and LR were great imo. Even FFXIII can be redeemed if they fixed my issues with it in a remaster.
@@cherrydragon3120 The game feels like a tutorial the first 30 hours due to being restrictive on it's mechanics, forces who you control as party leader and who you have as active in battle even if you have more than 3 characters in your party. Why should I be forced to control Hope and Vanille when Lightning, Snow and Sazh are right there. I get doing that for Eidolon battles but not whole chapters. It makes it even worse that it has the stupid party leader KO'd=game over mechanic that should never exist in turn based games. There are no towns, sidequests or hunts either during this timeframe either. I get that they can't just add towns and maybe no sidequests to a remaster, but they can allow us to freely customize our party at any time and not force us into using a specific team or leader until freaking Gran Pulse, don't make it a game over if the leader gets KO'd, just switch me over to another character and allow me to use a Pheonix Down like FFXII and FF-XIII-2. Also don't cap the crystarium throughout the story. They need to fix this stuff, this bothered me more than the level design being a hallway.
@@ChrisMS0815you know what i agree with this 100% most of the open world was mid to late game which wouldn’t be an issue if they gave us free reign of our party comps and fully unlocking the crystal compendium at the start.
I remember my first time playing this and couldn't leave the press start screen this brought back so much memory's final fantasy has the best soundtrack too me hands down
The music is what I remember most about this game. FF13-2 was the first FF I played and completed. I would just go to places like new bodhum, arclyte steppes and just listen to the music 😂❤
This reminds me of the bond between my best friend and I. He came to my city for college 2 and a half years ago (it’ll be 3 in August). I didn’t expect to meet him that day but there he was. I actually saw him 9 months prior at the fall preview day. Turns out he saw me there too. It was just a glimpse then he was gone. He was there in June of 2021 the same day as me for enrollment but I didn’t see him then. I’ll be having to say goodbye to him when he leaves next year. He won’t step foot in my state again after that. I won’t forget him though and will hopefully see him again in the next life. P.S. I was only 9 years old when I first played this game in 2012. The first 2 games in the FF13 trilogy were my first two final fantasy games. I previously thought my 2nd was FF7, but nope!
I had this saved and omg I’m so happy to find it again.
same

This is the single best piece of music ever created. 😢😢😢😢😢
Thanks for liking this comment and reminding me that I need to play my Xbox that I purchased specifically to re play FFXIII-2 🥲❤️
Compositional masterpiece. The way the piano, orchestra, and vocals intertwine 🤧
lighting and serah are absolutely marvelous in final fantasy 13 2

I love 66% of the trilogy and OST is a huge lart of it. It gets a ton of hate it doesn't deserve

What are said issues?

A true fan can see past them. Cause the game is still pretty decent if you ask me "hallway simulator" or not
