Throw the ball if plays up the middle don’t work geez
Terrible terrible terrible coaching. Run it up the middle just one more time. The issue is they put 8 in the box just like Syracuse. You had receivers wide open all over the field all game long.
Exactly! You just keep running the same play over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. Put a man in motion, use some jet sweep action and at some point use play action. But you sit there and just continue to use the same exact formation. With King and Haynes or another RB and just continue to run right up the Centers ass into a brick wall over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. Very puzzling and mind boggling to watch.
This loss is on Faulkner, Santucci and Key. You failed these guys. King played his heart out
If Faulkner and Key managed the offense properly then Santucci and the defense would have been *ok*. Not great but decent. However, for whatever reason it was decided that we need to keep running it up the middle instead of airing the ball out and forcing Louisville to drop back into coverage rather than stacking the box.

Without King and the OL, this team would be a dumpster fire -- our best defensive players left and weren't replaced in the Portal after the whole defensive coaching staff was fired.
King missed some throws and had the gaffe that gifted L’ville the TD, but I agree - the 3rd and 4th down play calling lost us this game.
Less so Santucci. No doubt in my mind Key was putting pressure on Faulkner to run the ball though

Great evaluation
Duke & UNC will define this season -- King is smart enough to audible when Louisville is stacking the box, and I'm more impressed with him than this coaching staff.

Singleton and Rutherford are Great Receivers we have to take advantage of those guys .
Hit the weights.. Hit the film room.. Work in some under center short yardage plays (call PJ).. I believe in this team but they gotta stop beating themselves w/ game killing mistakes

Entirely on play calling, running up the middle didn’t work all game yet we kept trying it
This and that about getting the kids to go out there and play 4 quarters of football. You sir need to COACH 4 quarters of football. Lock in Brent, you’re letting your kids down.

Your player that threw the L’s down right before half is the most BONEHEADED player I’ve ever seen. Words can’t describe, as a Louisville fan, how FURIOUS I am. People throwing the L’s down too much WHEN YOU’RE LOSING is getting on my damn nerves. DON’T be throwing the L’s down when you’re losing. We KILLED you all’s. GO CARDS

O-line didn't show up today...period! Louisvilles D-line made them their bitch all day! Which is WHY we couldn't run up the middle!
It has to be tough being a head coach or a coach period.
Mid season evaluation…the O-line is average. Too slow against good D- line talent to open running lanes. How many times did Hanes fake the handoff snd then run into a defensive roadblock in the middle? Short edge passes our receiver is on his own against 3 red shirt defenders. Our D line has progressed from last year!! Conerbacks/Safeties = Awful… 20 yard average completion plus 2-3 Pass Interference..The talent in these key areas are average. Keep recruiting. Looking at schedule I see another 6-6 season possibly 5-7. Need improved talent. Offense is losing some spunk. D backfield is major liability…

We look slow on offense and defense every week!
We should be 5-0 but our head coach decision making along with our suspect defense and offensive play calling is the reason we 3-2 overall 1-2 in the ACC the way we looking we might win 6 games but I seriously doubt that we will and I think after this season ends we should consider moving on from Brent key he’s a helluva recruiter but coaching he’s no better then Collins in my eyes definitely not a motivator when the season is over they’re going to be a lot of players entering the transfer portal and a lot of decommit players before the season ends
