Hello Alina, I have a brother who lives and works in Jakarta. Harriet and I have been many times and enjoyed our time there. Be wary of cabdrivers, try to use just Bluebird if you can. The meters seem to work. We avoided renting scooters; the traffic is too crazy and sketchy. The local Tour Guides which we used to go to certain places were quite knowledgeable. You are doing all the right things to prepare. Also, find some quiet time for yourself to decompress from the active pace and most of all enjoy your time there. Selamat Malam Alina, The time spent getting to this destination and to the sights and sounds you will encounter, I believe is worth it. I have never been but it is on my bucket list. From what I have read and the pictures that have been shared by fellow travelers, has been nothing short of incredible. From beaches, jungles, coral reefs to volcanoes, to having a lunch on top of a mountain I would say are amazing. It also appears to have some incredible beaches from which you can walk into crystal clear waters and do some spectacular snorkeling. It will be exciting to see your videos from the villages to cities and numerous other sites you visit on this venture. Also, you have an excellent way to convey your thoughts to viewers of what you see, eat and do on your trips. Your detailed descriptions are brilliant. You can travel easily in Indonesia with the Grab or Gojek application. The choice of vehicles is cars and motorbikes and the price is listed according to the distance traveled. there is also a choice of favorite foods. just choose the order come yourself.

Travel, I vaguely remember the concept. Fall of 2019 after a couple weeks in Japan decided that in 2020 I would come back for three or four months and the Gods Howled With Laughter. ANA is one of my favorite airlines. I prefer Haneda over Narita, but your layover made me envious.

Hello there welcome, could you tell me what's your plan in Indonesia? Most foreigners only know Bali. After arriving in Jakarta you may try to visit Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Bali. Besides Bali, Lombok and Komodo islands are also great. If you have a lot of time, you can try to visit Sumatra & Papua, but please find a guide there, don't go alone. Enjoy the trips & stay safe Alina.
Lol it always took me a week to get on Jakarta time when I went there to visit family. Jet lag can be brutal. Enjoy Jakarta but be patient, traffic in Jakarta is bad. I hope you get to travel all around Java, to places like Borobudur, Prambanan and Bromo. I was lucky that my sister-in-law’s family took me to many places that regular tourist don’t get to see, like old temples from the Borobudur era, the Dieng Plateau and other volcanic sites. I’m sure you’ll spend some time in Bali and Lombok. I had a nice relaxing week on Bunekan Island just off shore from Monado. I was surprised to see many Christian churches in that part of Indonesia. I just went to look at my photos on Smugmug and it brought back a lot of great memories of Indonesia. Enjoy your trip.

Travel, I vaguely remember the concept. Fall of 2019 after a couple weeks in Japan decided that in 2020 I would come back for three or four months and the Gods Howled With Laughter. ANA is one of my favorite airlines. I prefer Haneda over Narita, but your layover made me envious.
Apparently on September 7th they’re making it a ‘little’ easier to enter Japan but still no non tour activity

Hello there welcome, could you tell me what's your plan in Indonesia? Most foreigners only know Bali. After arriving in Jakarta you may try to visit Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Bali. Besides Bali, Lombok and Komodo islands are also great. If you have a lot of time, you can try to visit Sumatra & Papua, but please find a guide there, don't go alone. Enjoy the trips & stay safe Alina.

Lol it always took me a week to get on Jakarta time when I went there to visit family. Jet lag can be brutal. Enjoy Jakarta but be patient, traffic in Jakarta is bad. I hope you get to travel all around Java, to places like Borobudur, Prambanan and Bromo. I was lucky that my sister-in-law’s family took me to many places that regular tourist don’t get to see, like old temples from the Borobudur era, the Dieng Plateau and other volcanic sites. I’m sure you’ll spend some time in Bali and Lombok. I had a nice relaxing week on Bunekan Island just off shore from Monado. I was surprised to see many Christian churches in that part of Indonesia. I just went to look at my photos on Smugmug and it brought back a lot of great memories of Indonesia. Enjoy your trip.
