Amazing stuff as always. Love the addition of including the b6 sound on minor chords I absolutely LOVE that sound. Found a voicing recently while noodling spelled Bb F Gb C Eb F Ab which to me feels like it could be Bbm11addb6 even without the b3rd present. It also seems to work beautifully as the bII in F Phrygian if you view Gb as the root. The Fm7 upper structure also makes it feel more minor-y. The ambiguity to me is just lovely.
Thanks a lot Noah, appreciate all the materials you've brought to us so far! Have you done a similar video about major chords, or maybe you plan on doing one?
I was just wondering how you film your piano videos? I can’t figure out how you get the keys that light up when you play your actual piano. What program do you use for that?

Hi Noah, what program do you use for showing us the chords, is it Chordieapp?. THANKS
Noah is the shit, I love the knowledge of the Kenny Barron voicing and the 13(sus4) voicing. Phenomenal chords that changed my playing. Those chords are heavenly sex
NOAH! do you ever get into the nitty gritty of VST pianos? I’m thinking about getting a vst piano that would best recreate the feel of the song “young and foolish” from bill evans. If you have anything to share on that my guy I would appreciate it. I’m thinking of getting a VSL one
Great stuff. But I'm looking for a good minor voicing to get a pure minor sound - not -6 or -7 or -Maj7. Like for the 1 chord in Autumn Leaves or Black Orpheus, etc. I'm thinking, for am, use b-c-e, if the melody note were an E or an A. Or, what about adding the 4th with no 7th, like e-a-c-d. Would you use this kind of thing?
Yes I like that 9-3-5 sound and you can lower the B to A and then G#, G and beyond for a descending line some might call a minor cliché but it sounds good!
Chords you “can’t quite name” for lack of a better term seem to have a special characteristic. Imagine that game show…”NAME…THAT…CHORDDDD” 😂
This is a great video. Messing with these chords now. adding melodies using chromatic scales and half whole scales. Awesome!
Thanks a lot Noah! Great Video!

What's that software you use in the top left it's SOO cool and advanced!
Great lesson as always. Guitar players would notice that the "So What" cord is built from the 5 lowest (pitchwise) strings on a six-string guitar.

That is really pretty! I’m messing around with it right now, thanks for sharing. I do also like the sound with the added b3 as well.
Noah, you are a great teacher!
Thanks, Andy!!
Hi Noah! We on RUclips learn so much from you. What software do you use for your lessons?
Hey it’s called Chordie

that b6 stuff is new! Love it. Liking it in a minor II V i but you land on it, then release the tension to a more stable minor chord
Hi Noah,
can you tell me which Software you use for your Tutorials?
Been waiting for this since the major chords video! Love your stuff man :) Looking forward to working through this one
Thanks much appreciated!

There are possibilities pertaining to extensive chords. It can also read D7/b9/11… But I will go with D/Cmin. Easily recognized. Thanks.
I love u
Excellent video and voicings, thank you so much!
The minor chord with the flat six could be called "the X files chord" 👽😂
Thanks Noah!!! One of my favourites simple voicings is Bb-second inversion over C- = C-11
C, G, Eb, F, Bb, D
Wow, I've been looking for you for decades. This is gonna be fun! 😉🤣
I’m gettin that album bro!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

I would think of the D major over C minor as a C minor 6/9 add #11 personally, great video
