This was your best video on showing armature rewinding. Although I' not a total idiot you lost me during the winding process. Without re-editing your video would you write a timeline with a brief remark what you are doing at points in time? For instance: Twisting wire on comm hook1 (temporary)..... winding 20 turns through slot 1 and 6..... twisting wire around comm hook 2 (stripped for soldering ) ....... winding 20 turns through slot 2 and 7.etc. We can't see on the video the markings on the commutator. And relating what you are doing in the video to the picture you have drawn is kind of difficult . Thank you very much. Fortunately my commutator is OK I'm trying what you showed on rewinding the stator. GBY.
How to get uniform resistance in every segment of commutator???. the problem is when I try to rewind the armature, the first winding and the last winding has different length of copper wire due to overlapping windings (all has the same number of windings) so in my understanding the first and the last winding will different resistance. thanks
Thanks, I really wish youd take the time to explain some of what your doing. Its not easy to see. Plus the music is so aweful but when i yurn it off the lack of commentary is even more distracting. I guess ill try to do what i think you may be doing and hope for the best.
