- As much as I love the Pokemon Manga, it can still get a little strange! These two arcs, Fire Red Leaf Green and Emerald seem to have some of the weirdest stuff I've seen in the Manga so far. But that doesn't mean I don't like them, They still do have so much for anyone and everyone that wants to enjoy a fun Pokemon Adventure!

Another thing I would mention is FRLG’s theme on family with all the familiar connections in this arc. Red and deoxys, green and professor oak, blue and her parents, silver and Giovanni, and mewtwo and new.
Lol reading the english version makes this weird XD
9:35 I would expand upon that by stating that he didn’t want his Pokémon to be prosecuted and mistreated for his own limitations because it was more then him being bullied the Pokémon that helped him were also bullied for acting as extensions for him.
Because of this he vowed to be self reliant and distanced himself from Pokémon so they wouldn’t get caught in the crossfire again. Only after finding a team during his venture through the battle frontier did he regain his faith in Pokémon intimacy and allowed himself to be close to Pokémon once again.

It seems adventures wally and emerald learned to rely on their pokemon to cover their limitations. Wally, due to his sickness and
Emerald due to his height.
I really love the scene where Red and Mewtwo enter Giovanni's battlefield, and Giovanni has intentionally elevated the platform Red enters on to be above him as a sign of respect to how he sees Red as superior to him for having defeated him the last time they battled.
It’s always good , when someone shines some light on the Adventures series.
FireRed/LeafGreen is one of my favourite arcs so far.
Can’t wait for you to cover the diamond and pearl arc. My personally favorite arc with my favorite trio.

Emerald is my least favorite Dex Holder but I still liked the arc better than FrLg. FrLg feels aimless for over half of the arc and despite the Silver stuff and Red and Mewtwo's development and battle with Giovanni being cool as hell it doesn't feel the arc comes together the way the others do. The Emerald arc starts interesting from the get go with the Battle Frontier challenge showing a lot of Pokémon battle styles we haven't seen previously in the manga and doesn't take as long to get to the point with the whole Jiirachi mission. And Gold is in it, that makes any arc instantly better.
FRLG arc is so good, the fact being original to the game make it more interesting and really well wrote by the authors!
Interesting take. I've heard the opposite where people liked the Emerald arc way better than FRLG arc. Personally, I never had a problem with either; it was awesome to see the OG trio, and I found Emerald's ideology and battle style fascinating. Always great to see every main character come together in one huge final battle

I also don’t like the Emerald arc very much, mostly because I don’t like Emerald, I don’t like how it kinda ruined the perfect bow tie ending of the Gold/Silver/Crystal arc… It brushed me off the wrong way.
Your collection is Dyno the old boxes sealed like that with their corresponding books. Are they the originals? Do they contain the games?
Thanks! Yeah they are originals and have the games. I usually keep the games out of the boxes so I can play the easier. They are in protective plastic cases, so they're not sealed, except for my copy of Silver.

Gold is my favorite character is the manga. I kinda thought the ending of ruby/sapphire chapter was kinda akward. Still think gs is best chapter.
