Tennessee here 2024. My dad started taking my brothers and me to the store once a week to buy comics. Prices were 10 cents. This was in sixties. Kept buying till my youngest brother no longer wanted to buy. That was in late 70's. We were all over the place in what we bought. Was allowed 3 a piece. 50 cents most ever paid.
I enjoy how you sort a locker, a disaster as this or a clean locker, your sorting ways make it enjoyable to watch. I hope you earn a lot on this one, of what I seen it's great.
I'm sure I seen that Popeye toy on American Pickers, it was the most valuable DieCast motorcycle toy every sold at auction, crazy thousands. Definitely do a bit more research on that before you sell it. Loving the vids also, can't get enough.
I wanted to tell you that years ago I cleaned up a collectible magazine using wall paper putty. The putty is like silly putty, but you gently roll it across a magazine or a book and it really cleans it up. I bought mine at a Sherman Williams. And I used it to clean up many things. Really enjoying this video.
Happy Birthday Jack! That was definitely a grungy locker🤢! Only you can uncover all the better hidden treasures! Makes you wonder about their planning to move…no thought put into it…just dump it into boxes! Wonder what the house looked like when they left! 🤮
Its okay to hold on to treasures. It doesnt make you a hoarder. To have a hobby, and find additions for your personal stash, is such a basic life thing !
Well holding onto treasurers is great! HOWEVER when that holding on to stuff goes to a 10 x 30 or a 20 x 30 and not one but many storage units full of stuff then that is a hoarder in the making. I know myself how many areas of my house I have stuff and have not seen that stuff in a few years. OR you have a storage unit and have not seen the stuff in many years. Time to have a yard/garage sale a whatever sale plus just the cost of storage is crazy. But by human nature we accumulate stuff and then more stuff.
Mosquito eaters... When I was very young, we had a neighbor who called them "albitwitchers" LOL For some odd reason that still sticks with me today, decades later. I'm only a couple years older than Jack/Janna, and grew up in So. California. It was a lady who lived around the corner, and had a girl who was as young as my kid sister. 🤣
Good morning from Chiang Mai! Wow! Very nice end for this incredible locker! Lots of weird, rare and valuable things... In addition, it's always a pleasure to see you discover all these "wonders"! The sequence with all the different sounds you make when you open all those empty jewelry boxes is priceless! Of course, I would have preferred the sounds you would have made if the boxes had been full of jewels, but hey, it was still a lot of fun... Next!
Happy belated birthday! The Mitsubishi remote does go to an old VCR. That brand was one of the best you could buy back in the 80's. I've had two. Both got donated, with the original box when VCR's became outdated.
Just wanted to give a helpful hint. To get stickers off most materials will come off easy if you use a hair dryer to heat them up. I enjoy your videos, thank you for sharing. Wishing you and yours a very happy New Year!
I remember watching Gremlins at the movies. I was about 10, and the movie scared the pants of me. Still to this day cannot watch the movie. Quite a trip down memory lane. 😊😂
I have only found your channel this month, and I love your sense of humor, you crack me up!! I'm not sure how to buy on the auction, I'm 76 years old so old dogs...
So interesting but such a shame they threw them altogether in the last few boxes. Pity you don’t have the time to go through and clean them all up. So nostalgic though. Nice one Jack 👏👏👍🏻😍
I can't believe that you threw away the troll donkey!!!! Even in rough shape it's worth a lot. I would have bought it from you!!!! I collect trolls from the 60's to the 90's. Wow😮
Here’s an idea, pick up a couple of ultrasonic cleaner from harbor freight. Use one to throw the money you find, the other for nasty items. Walk away and it cleans them without damage Then get a water cooler jug and put all the change you find in it!
Hey Jack! I'm loving the videos wish there were more! I have a suggestion/idea for you... It goes as follows: Host a what not for the goods found in a locker at the unboxing, film it for RUclips and sell or try to sell the whole locker before you leave the storage unit! It would take some advertising to hype it up... but what a fun experience for the fans, and your Chanel would explode from the novel idea! Shipping would have to be considered so take a scale and just let people know... I see fans bidding on totes that you just pile stuff in or do a blind bid on a tote and then open it live, like a jewelry box or something, let us get in on the risk! Just a thought...
It was a lot of fun getting to see those come through our pre-press department and then hit the web printing press. Our security got hyped up after that
Awesome to see all those great comic books. I had a few of those issues in my collection, but i sold most of it years ago..very regretfully. Love the McFarlane spiderman issues/covers. The New Mutants was one of my favorite titles. The 100th issue you showed was the last issue (it was renamed X-Force). I believe you have the first printing. Issue #98 is the one you wanna find.. it's the first appearance of Deadpool. Issue #87 is first appearance of Cable, and my favorite book. I used to own the whole Leifeld run (#85 or 86- #100 plus X Force up to around #30). I do still have most of the X Force...Anyway, great content!!!
Hello Jack. Let's see what's left inside of the boxes that you brought home from the abandoned storage unit. Everything looks awesome. Jack you should get in touch with George from What The Hale$. She is into Elvis.
49:10 Those beads are lampwork beads. Artists melt the glass under a torch and work it into designs. I used to collect and sell beads for years, mostly glass, not too much stone but if you ever want to reach out I might be able to either offer insight or point you in the right direction. Great video, btw!
The Smart key is for opening and shutting doors when you don't want to touch them. It may do other things. Someone came up with it during the pandemic.
It would definitely be awesome if you could calculate your total profit on this entire locker. There has been a boat load of super nice treasures. Would definitely be interesting to see
Hey brotha i live in san ramon off bollinger next to the walgreens. Id love to go with you on a locker auction too see how this process works if you were ever down to do a meet up
I know I’m probably too late, but for the future- you can send in authentic Gucci bags for repair! It costs a little, but if the resale value is worth way more, it might be worth it!
You need to contact some paper dealers tell them you buy locker and ask for a buy list. When you find paper you don't want look at the list first. Then the flea market.
Thank you for sharing Luna I recently lost my cat cita she was a long haired cat as well 😻
Yes that tupperware is great its still useful and they are some single pieces that people may need for their collections and our everyday uses.
Plus, Tupperware is going out of business unless investors are found to keep it afloat..

This is an extremely interesting locker for sure. Great finds!
Tupperware is basically defunct as it used to be. Now it will be sold at Target. So, vintage pieces are kind of interesting.

Rosenthal is a high end manufacturer in Germany, upper Bavaria, mostly ceramics.
Very nice toys from this locker
The Popeye that’s worth money is the wind up row boat with him in it, I’ll never part with mine. Nice. Video!!
48:36 the key smart looks like one of the items you use to open doors or push elevator buttons without touching the handles/ buttons.
I would buy a locker with a washer and dryer in it. You could set them up in the garage and wash stuff that would bring more money when cleaned.
Send the Elvis stuff to George form 'What the Hale$' she'll love them.
dinky toys is very valuable! Its more common here in europe but fetches great prices even when sold per piece :)

The silverish "german coin" you found is an old "50 Pfennig" coin. We had those before we got Euro (€).
fun time
That’s awesome!! How do you determine the value on the comics?

George at What The Hale’s would probably be interested in the Elvis memorabilia as she is mad about him and has a collection of Elvis things.
The multi color paper weight looks like Marano art glass and the signed clear tree
The Beatles Yesterday and Today is the one that had the “butchered babies” cover in the UK. Just a weird random fact for you, lol.
Jack those battery parts are for jump booster box too..
Its a Plumbus! There is a "How its Made" parody on the Rick and Morty show.
I worked for a company where we used to print the Marvel's comic books. One of them that we printed was the spiderman and Obama.
Nice hand blown beads bracelet
San Francisco music box company is fairly expensive stuff. Hope you found the other piece.
Guten morgen aus germanii. 👍👌💪💵💰
Not sure if anyone has said yet, but I think the Lego "What am I?" is a customisable clone of the "Guess Who?" board game.
I think Elvis fans would buy the tv guides with his picture on.
There are people who collect TV Guides
Gremlins was a great movie for the time!
That plumbus thing is based on a skit in the cartoon Rick and Morty. Rude but very popular.
hello jack Jeremy & George from what the hales george is a huge elvis fan
The Smart key is for opening and shutting doors when you don't want to touch them. It may do other things. Someone came up with it during the pandemic.

Some of those old bulbs would be worth looking up I would have thought rather than just go to the flea market
I have artwork I found in a storage locker I bought that I'm having trouble identifying the signature. any suggestions
You need to contact some paper dealers tell them you buy locker and ask for a buy list. When you find paper you don't want look at the list first. Then the flea market.
