- Locker Nuts episode 660
We're experiencing a heat wave here, and I just got a hot deal on this storage locker! Paid just $60 at the auction, and I'm feeling really good with that purchase, seeing a nice mountain bike and BBQ right in front. Not long after I start digging in, there's a bad feeling coming over me about this one. What did I get myself into?

"Specimen bags, that doesn't sound very good!" 😂😂😂 Love your videos Jack. You crack me up.
Anyone else thinking that Danish Butter Cookies tin was going to contain sewing supplies?...
Mine does so yes
Haha I didn't think of that but you're right
I thought for sure it would be buttons from the way it sounded when he shook it. I have an old tin similar to that one with old buttons in it.
Mine has cross stitch supplies😂
I have the same tin and it contains all my sewing stuff
I love watching your storage videos! I appreciate your optimism and I REALLY enjoy that I can play your videos during the day without fear of anything inappropriate for my kids to hear. Thanks for being an awesome person.
I like how organised your are, makes more comfortable for you,and for us easier to see.
I really enjoy and appreciate how you sort the lockers. It's so much better than just tearing through everything.
Patriot guard rides thier bikes to the funerals of vets and hilds flags from each branch of the military, the pow flag, the American flag. My mom rode 80 missions with them and even though shebwasnt military, they gave her a full color guard at her funeral and a plaque for her service in riding with them to veteran's funerals. It's a wonderful thing they do. Someone earned that coin.
Edit:please excuse the spelling. My phone has a mind of its own today.
❤
Great job Jack. Love the new logo. Keep doing the same thing, I love watching you. Congrats on the weight loss you look great.
That silver box you thought was some kind of razor sharpener. It’s actually for rolling your own cigarettes. My dad had one
Great gamble 🤑 Thank you for sharing ❤ Be on the look out for 50th anniversary albums, was about to throw one away when the storage facility didn't take the personal items but noticed it heavy and on the last page it had 50 dollar coins taped on the last page 🎉
It's funny to hear you speak about "foreign coins" as I recognized the Canadian toonie you got. We don't think of American coins as foreign as we are such close neighbors. Lol
I think it is a kind of dad joke for the Canadians 😆
I think those cages are for holding the fish you caught in the stream. Then you keep fishing for more.
Area Code 505 is in Northwestern & Central NEW Mexico. Only one other Zip in the State is 575 and the split happened in 2007. Owner was a Graduate of the University of New Mexico located in Albuquerque. Largest City and about 60 miles south of Santa Fe, NM.
Hello from Pakistan. I’m so happy that you are donating books. As I love books and feel sad to see them in dumpsters or just thrown away. Bless you.
Very nice note to Jack!
Jack you can bring back the the briefcase with furniture polish, give it a go It worked for me.
Jack I think you are correct,he cleaned the best stuff and left the rubbish 🇮🇪
A little hello from Chiang Mai!
Another great video this morning, even if it's not the locker of the century there were a few interesting little things in the middle of the garbage! LOL!
I hope the next one will be more profitable!
Love watching you go through this storages ❤
The rizla metal box that you thought was for knife sharpening was actually a gadget for rolling cigarettes with loose tobacco and rizla papers
The silver-colored box is for rolling cigarettes without a filter. I think it could hold tobacco or cigarettes.
A rolling machine... Razor free
I use to put a filter in my cigarettes when I rolled them with is tin.
Rizla papers and rolling machine, been going for years.
When donating books, donate the notebooks too. The un used notebooks can be used for many things. And those owners books are definitely are worth money online.
13:28 That encyclopedic dictionary is a gem.
Even a so so locker is entertaining. Hope it isn't boring for you yet!
Awesome show my friend. 😊
I think I once had that same Carmel keychain!---It was interesting to see all the NM stuff. I lived in Albuquerque a long time.
Hi from South Africa
Me too ❤
505- New Mexico. Greetings from Santa Fe, New Mexico. I saw a mug in the locker said Institute of American Indian Arts. That comes from a museum here in Santa fe
Looking through that box of business cards reminds me of Fred Sanford looking through his draw of eyeglasses 😂😂
You just dated yourself.😂 I loved Sanford and Son.
That Camillus knife is cool. Made outside Syracuse NY.
Crab catcher on that basket.😊
I like the way you sort things as you pull them. That’s the only way to do it. OST stuff does. It need to handled twice!
Most stuff does not need to be handled twice…sheesh
34:39 The pliers with the crook tip is for opening jump rings in jewelry making/beading :)
I’m Native American and my grandma attended that American native Indian arts school. You have a poster of that school. I’m super interested in it. Please give a chance at that one item. P/s my grandma has been in Heaven since 1998. Thank you
22:00 Oh, Jack! I used to swear by Dayrunner/Dayplanner back in the day. They had an excellent system. I had the leather case with my nameplate. A friend even had software to create a printed address book that would fit perfectly. Awesome!
That odd tool in the jewelry tray is for opening the split rings on keychains
The metal discs with the holes are parts to a sausage/meat grinder. The different size holes will make the meat pieces finer or coarser
I thought that also!
All those business cards and boxes of paperwork reminded me of my ex. He worked in direct sales for years and kept boxes and boxes of business cards and notes about contacts he had made. He did advertising sales for a while so he kept every sample of everything the company made. He was a hoarder and didn't get rid of any of that for 25 years. He left it all for me to clean out after our divorce, so I feel your pain!
Save the books and take a couple of tubs to Half Priced Books. You might be surprised what they give you for the books your gonna get rid of.
The part that resembles a cross is a u joint that goes in the end of your driveshaft in which connects the transmission to the rear end of your vehicle.
The greasy drive train quality items you uncovered were U-joints for a car or truck. They rarely go out but I’ve had to change some in my career. One in box looked new.
Just curious why you don’t recycle all that paperwork and save yourself the dump fees? Plus keeps it out of the landfill. It was 90% paperwork/books and only about 10% actual trash.
I have been wondering that too. In Scotland we recycle paper and card domestically but also our tips are free to encourage us to use them
I wish he would go through the papers a bit more closely. Hard telling what he has just trashed
Sedexo is a commercial food service company. They provide produce, food items, spices, cups, utensil, ect to restaurants, colleges, prisons, ect.
Always a pleasure watching you
The round discs with holes is for a meat grinder
Those 2 heavy discs with the holes look like parts for a meat mincer. My mother in law had an old heavy one and they looked the same.
Patriot Guard Riders!!! My Jim was one. They ride their motorcycles for the fallen soldiers when coming home whether alive or passed. Coin is cool!
Love to see you Locker Nuts 🥜❤️🥜❤️🥜❤️
Hello Jack. Let's see what's inside of this abandoned storage unit. Everything looks awesome.
I enjoy watching the videos that you put out and you find cool stuff
I think it was worth it. I get rid of most all of my paperwork now, who needs it.
The wire basket looks like a live fish trap for fishermans catch. They store the live fish until the are ready to go home. It keeps the fish fresh.
BTW Propane doesn't sloosh.
We love your videos and how you sort as you go thru.
Also the I pad!
Those business card holders could be used for your credit cards to protect them from the ‘rays’ that steal your details
You're definitely in the profit. Love your positive attitude regardless!
Another great video love it blessings to you and your family always my bro 🙏🙏
Jack, the item you thought was to maybe sharpen a razor is actually a cigarette rolling machine you put a paper and some tobacco in it and at the end you hade a rolled cigarette, hence the rizla name on the front, regards from the UK Andy
it was at 38:43 you looked at it
The area code 505 is from Albuquerque New Mexico
The Camillus knife is a electrician tool to not a broken blade tip it's a screwdriver
The metal discs with the two sizes holes are inserts for a meat grinder, possibly!
Los Lonely Boys are a great band out of West Texas.
The knife is a gov’t issue and the second blade is a screwdriver end.
The same company makes bayonets
Sodexho (now Sodexo) is a multinational catering supplies company. The old owner of the locker either ran a restaurant, or they worked for Sodexho. The name changed in 2008, so a lot of the stuff you found had been there quite a while.
I got a patriot guard rider coin when my veteran father died. Probably more important to a family than valuable
I get excited for you every time you find some change!! Have you cashed in any of your change jars??
You can replace the foam on the harley davisdon glasses...
23:01 timestamp is part of a U-joint for a car or truck
It’s an adventure!!!
The silver box isn't a sharpener, it's a cigarette roller.😉
Sorry Kevin, at least you made your $60+ back. Grrr, hate all the receipts! Started a new job years ago and the owner had two drawers full of CC receipts, Why? Attach to your stmts, balance & pay! if not toss after 30days.
Jack. I think the saying "making a silk purse out of a pigs ear" is fitting for this locker. You did an awesome job making garbage/paperwork seem interesting. See you next time.
I like that saying!
That metal 4 way thing was a U Joint
That silver tin with a cloth over the opening , is a cigarette roller. I use to have one.
It's a Universal joint for a drive shaft
Win some and you lose some. Sorry Jack. Anyway it’s always fun to watch your videos. Give the girls a hug for me and give Janna a hug from me also. We love our Jack Chestnut.
You gotta take a chance. 👏👏👍🏻😍
the Razor Sharpener is a Ciggarett Roller
Can’t believe if the guy went through his locker he left that Harley jacket behind.
Nice, you found Wilson.
the venture pencils reminds me of wades ventures
Hey, at least it was clean!
In Ireland it is still winter we are waiting for the sun 🇮🇪
When my Dad died, I found reciepts everywhere! He was a reciept hoarder.
That sharpener for a razor - is actually an automatic tobacco rolling tin made by Rizla
Well at least you'll make a little bit of money 💰 👍
Please check all those Lottery tickets. There could be winners among them.
Oh no looks like you have not had much luck although heaps of change an ok bike and some harley pieces might scrape enough together to cover your time.😊
Sudexco is a large international catering company think Aramark.
Lottery tickets are good for losses for you income tax. That's why people save the losing tickets.
The green backet is to catch crab ans crawfish.
He's singing Tiffany songs again😂
The silver box with the leather thing is a cig roller.
at 38:47 is a vintage cigarette roller .... enjoy!
21:30 in New Jersey there is a second chance drawing. Punch in the numbers on the losing tickets on line to win $$$
The silver tone metal box isn’t for a razor it’s a cigarette roller.
That rizla silver colored box is a sigaret maker
Crab cage. Lobster traps are rectangular
Crab catcher
I think you could sell the 3 ring notebooks and folders at the flea for a few bucks
Haven’t got to watch you in a while… nice finds
The circle plates you have are for a meat grinder jack
