      Same. My flagship mini lived in my keychain and I never leave home without it. Those scissors specially are so capable I have used them on zip ties, small hoses, rope… just incredible for the size and cost.

    As an electrician that does strictly remodels this is an absolute essential tool. ruclips.net/user/postUgkx0vyBwjtx9GGOuiqUVT2sRoYqmDoNT_RI Being able to precision cut any material with a light weight tool is priceless.I upgraded to this Dewalt 20v from a competitor's 12v. The Dewalt 20v is just as light as the competitor's 12v. I am extremely pleased with the overall performance and battery life of this tool. As far as oscillators go, they just aren't very ergonomic tools. The dewalt oscillators have an offset handle that do make them somewhat more ergonomic than the competitors' oscillators.

    When I first saw the toolset of this I was very excited. It also looked like it was using the scissors from the Nextool Knight which I had heard was a good pair of scissors. Now hearing that none of the inner tools are locking, it doesn't come with a pocketclip or belt sheath, and the scissors seem subpar especially compared to the other scissors in Nextool's lineup... That $50 price tag doesn't seem to line up with other wave clones. It's a shame, I do like the direction they are trying to go. Though that bottle cap lifter/flathead tool just needs to go. Ive snapped nearly every one of those victorinox included.

    All I’m really looking for is a Multiforce with a good pair of scissors on the outside. As far as the bit driver I’m cool with it being leather man or 1/4in.
    I had high hopes for this one but it doesn’t quite have the quality I would like. Scissors, and bit driver are my 2 most used tools so the need to be good and locking.

    I only just came across this tool and saw what looked like a leatherman style bit driver so I had to look it up on RUclips and I was happy to see you've done a video on it. If they get different bits available, I wonder if that would be a viable replacement source for leatherman tools as I hear their bits are getting hard to get

    As a lover of victoirnox knifes I cannot understand the constant distain for non locking tools, to be clear locking knife and saw is a must, but the rest is a waste of resources; I mean the question we should be asking is: does it change something while using it ? honestly I cannot think of a single example where a bottle opener or prybar or even screwdriver moved while I was working, are victorinox slip joint that good or is the locking feature a bit overrated ? I repeat the only problems I found were with a non locking saw and knife, so these should lock

    Super unrelated, but you have been really helpful in my hunt for my edc for the my job as a hotel concierge, so I thought I’d ask here. I recently baught a Leatherman curl and I’m looking for a scissors multi tool companion, and I’m down to the SOG Snippet or the Roxon M3, which do you prefer of the two tools?

    • @hvacbudget8600
      @hvacbudget8600  Год назад +1

      Of the two I actually like the Roxon 3 better. The SOG I think has tougher cutting power but the sides are so thin and the handles just seem a bit rough. The Roxon has smooth handles. I personally use the Leatherman Micra all the time, but of the above options which are both great I guess I'd pick the Roxon. So glad to have helped a bit. Thanks so much for watching!

    Nice video 👍 just curious I saw your short titled, 'Can you have too many Leathermans' 😁 and you answered 'No' I would have commented on it but didn't see where I could leave a comment. You also said you miss being able to carry your favorite Leatherman tools because many times you're testing other multitools 🤔have you ever tried carrying both? I have a pretty good collection of multitools and pocket knives myself and I have my favorites but still like to use something different from time to time. My favorite combination is my Surge & Crunch which are almost always on me at work but if I get the itch to give one of my others some pocket time I'll just add them to my belt or pocket for the day even though I'm still toting the Surge and Crunch. That way I don't get caught short but I can still try out a new tool/knife while in a real work environment. Yeah it may be a few more ounces on my belt but it never caused me to pass out from fatigue 😀 anyway just thought I'd share it with you. Enjoy your stuff keep it up!

    The capitan has some similarity with the old bibury 13 in 1 pre wave clone era ( the old tool was more inspired by leatherman then a clone like the current waves clones). On the old bibury the inner tools where also not looking. The newer versions have a looking system as well like on the SWITHLAND 17 in 1. The capitan brings in this type of multitools the diamond coated file, a bit exchanger without hexbit adapter and a stranded wire cutter (if this feature works?). I like the tool set with a better scissors looking inner tools and a bit lower price I would buy the capitan.

    I wonder what all the fuss about scissors is. Scissors belong in a manicure set, not in a multitool, since in most cases the knife or the pincers can do the job easily. Scissors only waste space that can be used for much more important tools such as an awl, a chisel, etc.
