I just gave my new GRE and got a 166 in quant. I made a total of 3 mistakes with 1 of them having Level 3 in difficulty the first section and 2 Level 5 questions from the second section. The predictions mentioned in this video (at least for the 165+ group ) is definitely pertinent.

Hello sir, it seems there's a discrepancy in my ETS practice test-2 scores. Despite correctly answering 5 questions in the first paper and 12 in the second in Quant, I received a score of 145, whereas your chart indicates I should have scored 156. Could you please clarify this difference?

It’s a total myth that the new GRE has the same difficulty. The section 1 is really hard now as compared to the old GRE. This is unfair.
Yes, no one wanted a shorter GRE, ETS just went ahead and imposed it on students.

GRE looks at which section you got questions wrong in and tweaks scoring algorithm accordingly

Hello, nope the cutoff will not change at least this year. From next year it might change a bit.
