Started noticing this at 30. Weeks but unfortunately my doctor dosent know anything about this. So happy I found this video. The pain is almost unbearable. Everything hurts, from walking, sitting, getting out of bed! Everything!!!
I can’t even lift my leg
@@LuluCeline-ln3so it’s soo painful 😣
@@MsCee612 for real for real 😩 can’t wait to get myself
Currently 27 weeks going on 28. I get this pain a lot it’s so painful at time I can’t even walk.😢 I feel like I can’t enjoy just going to the market it’s so painful. Moving around in bed is uncomfortable as well.
Im experiencing the same now..
Experiencing the same
Mine too 27 weeks going on 28 I get this pain it's very painfull....can't even walk can't moving around in bed
25 weeks and dying of pain I can't even exercise
same here am worried i cant walk
I felt that pain both pregnancies and into postpartum. Rolling over yes and getting out of bed! So tender. I would say something to others and they never had it. I was like what's wrong with me! I did use the pillow to sleep and roll in bed. It was so helpful. I love how knowledgeable you are!
Hey Sarah! Thank you for this content. It really helps me a lot. I'm on my 20th week of pregnancy and I'm really worries about what I'm feeling right now and none of my friends and family can't relate to the pain. My OB told me that maybe it's UTI but I really doubt it as the pain I'm having is the same on your video. Thank you so much again. Atleast now I can say my baby is safe. 💓☺️
Your engage the baby video totally helped me have a faster delivery over 2 years ago! I'm bookmarking it for my next baby
So funny you have another similar video speaking about this and I had watched it in my first trimester but now in my second trimester with my third pregnancy im experiencing this discomfort and signed in to your channel to try and find it and you saved me 🙏🏼🙏🏼 uploading this one now! So informative ❤️ thank you!
I had SPD with my first and only pregnancy. It started at 20 weeks and got progressively worse. My doctor said to take Tylenol and refused a physical therapy referral. I was using Tylenol during the majority of my second half of pregnancy. By 8 months the Tylenol didn’t even touch the pain so I stopped taking it. I had such a hard time with daily life and even walking was horrible. Unfortunately this pain was part of the reason why my beautiful baby girl is now my only. I still feel the pain regularly and my child is already 5. Good luck to all of you that are going through this, my thoughts are with you.
I felt the pelvic pain my first pregnancy. Definitely worse this time around. Also didn't wait long between this pregnancy and the last one
I hope this finds you well as I experienced spd aswell mine started 12 weeks and it was excruciating even after birth I struggled and thought there would be no end to the pain until I started taking turmeric a ( natural anti inflammatory) and magnesium combined with walking it helped me immensely !!! To strengthen eveything back up i believe this helped me heal give it a try
So worth it to invest in chiro and PT for this reason
@@mitdon9778walking helps? Whenever I walk I feel worst. Can’t even get up once I sit . Will try the turmeric thanks!
You are so polite and informed everything ❤
I was so stressed due to this issue, but feeling so relaxed now. 😊 Amazing video, so informative and helpful. Thank you so much ❤
I absolutely love your videos! Extremely helpful!
I’ve been asking friends n family what type of pain this is based on my symptoms and it seem like no one knows anything about it. Thank you so much for this video.
Yeah,i m 7 months pregnant and this pain started at 5th month ..i had really tough time in these 2 months .thank u for helping ❤
Bingo, finally a video that explain exactly how I feel. Your a God sent
You described my symptoms to the "T". You even got it right about turning and getting out of bed for thats when all this pain started at 26 weeks pregnant. Thank you for posting!
So helpful! I started feeling a little bit of this sensation when I lift my foot to put my boot on my right foot. I mostly feel this on the left side of my pubic bone.
I was never diagnosed but I should have been. When I mentioned pelvic/hip pain, I was told that that's normal for pregnancy. However, it got to the point where I could barely sleep because I hurt so badly. It took me 3.5 years and PT to even get somewhat back to normal. I later found out that I have a joint condition that leads to some joints being hyper mobile. It hadn't been too much of an issue before and was my normal but the relaxin during pregnancy did a bit too good of a job on both my pelvis and my hips. I've been able to strengthen the muscles but the back of my pelvis where it meets my spine now will pop in and out of place occasionally. It's lead to joint discomfort and some initial muscle dysfunction and lots and lots of pain. This is why I'm so passionate about becoming educated about my body and my health. Thanks for producing content like this that helps me be a better advocate for myself.
So relatable situation with SPD, pelvic girdle pain , hypermobility of joints 😭
Thankyou darling...ive been telling people i feel pain on the bone in my mons pubis and none would understand..and the rolling in bed and walking that's painful, girrl you understood me very well.Thankyou.Had to subscribe ❤
Omg were have you been I have been experiencing this since 26 weeks now I’m 31 weeks pregnant it’s getting worst I’m glad your video popped up
When I was pregnant with my daughter, I was diagnosed with spd. It was the WORST. I was in tears for months. My Dr said there wasn't much I could do, and any kind of movement was so painful! I wish I had this video then!
Were trying for another baby so I hope this doesn't happen again but if it does, I'll have this!
Hey Sarah! Hahaha dont know why I'm here when I just had my baby 9 months ago. Maybe, Im preparing for another one 🙈? Hahaha Miss watching your videos actually. Hope you are well with your journey. Thank you for sharing everything you know. Yes, you are one of the reasons with God's grace, I had a very easy labor. True, every labor is different. My husband and I kept you in our hearts and mind when the time came. All the best to you and wish you success in your plans and also to your team.
Good to all this stuff so happy I found this channel.
This was really helpful. Thank you.
Ugh I wish this video came out a year ago! Very informative. I'm done having babies but still interested in your content Sarah 💕
Oh my God! I just came here to say the same thing! My youngest turned 1 this month and I really wished I could have watched this a year ago 😀 I used to watch all the bundlebirth videos back then and had severe pain in my pelvis till a few months back actually.
@@surabhideodhar1965 me too! My youngest is 9 months old. A year ago I was 7 months along and pelvic pain was starting. By the end I could barely walk. I was a week late having him and was ready to snap at anyone who asked if I'd had the baby. I remember thinking, stop asking when he's here I'll shout it from the rooftops! 😆
I developed this at 17 weeks with twins. Now 2 months post partum and still in pain. Thank goodness for women helping women like this😭
Hi please how did your pain go away
@@GraceFidel I still get it when I exercise sometimes or closer to my cycle. It's not as debilitating as it once was but I almost broke down and got a cane during my third trimester
@@motinitinyjoyssmith3123 mine is so bad am scared something else is happening in my vg . Thank you so much hope it gets better as it even wakes me up at night
Please come out with a video on Pelvic Instability! (Which may incorporate PGP, SPD) - crutches, wheel chair, pureeee instability before pain
I developed SI joint pain during the first trimester. I did IVF with a fresh transfer and I think all of the hormones messed me up. I am almost in the third trimester and the pain is still there but I have figured out ways to manage it. The pain was terrible in the beginning. Icing the area during that time helped a lot. Now I have figured out exercises and stretches that help..also resting when I feel like I need it.
Tell me why I been searching this and finding no answers on google, THANK YOU!
Ok I'm sooooooo happy you posted this video because I could not figure out what was wrong with me lol. I'm 36wks3dys and rolling over in bed, walking stairs, even waking around any substantial amount of time brings me the MOST discomfort. I'm getting induced in 5 days because of my hypertension so hopefully after birth everything comes back together lol
It went away as soon as I gave birth last time
Did your pain go fairly quickly?
Thank you so much for this information,
I was wondering what is wrong with me since I never experienced this during my first pregnancy but i will follow your advice.feeling relieved........
I feel like your videos does be talking to me about my pregnancy because that pain 😩 lordddd
I experienced this with my recent pregnancy starting around 20 weeks and it was excruciating. I started seeing a chiropractor and he was able to do some adjustments in my pelvis that was a lifesaver! I wouldn’t have made it to the end of the pregnancy without my weekly visits. I just gave birth a week ago and my symptoms are still present..hoping they will resolved in a few weeks.
I would never wish that pain and discomfort on anyone, truly awful!
Having the same pain,so scared to loose my baby again
Thank you for this video! I thought I had SPD but it turns out the pain I'm experiencing is not where I thought it was. When you explained where that is I realized that's not the part that's hurting me... Idk how to describe where the pain is but it's absolutely unbearable. So I guess this video just ruled out one thing but now I don't know what this pain actually is that I'm experiencing... Ugh
Currently 20 weeks and getting out of bed is the worst!! And it even hurts just walking sometimes.
Sarah! I was the 1%! I started feeling this come week 32 (currently 35 weeks). I have been going to a chiropractor ever since I found out I was pregnant to keep me flexible and mobile. We did some massage therapy on my groin, upper inner thigh and had a pelvic adjustment done. All in all, it helped immensely. Used heat and due to remote working, I was seating on a pillow which has help too! Thank you for this video as it helped bring some peace of mind as to what I was feeling.
So informative now i understand thank you so much i was super scared
L&D nurse here who suffered with horrible SPD! I was 0 station at 38 weeks and went to my due date 😩 Pelvic floor therapy was a lifesaver along with a pregnancy support belt for those 12-hr shifts. Would recommend those to anyone suffering!! Thank you for all of your content, Sarah!
5 and 1/2 months and I can feel this already. Esp when going out of bed 😢
I'm growing baby #4, 26 weeks. I've been dealing with this pain for 8 to 12 weeks already. As soon I started showing/really started gaining weight. I'm so glad you mentioned the supports ❤ I'm going to watch your engaging baby video next!! I'm going to attempt unmedicated this time, just so I can have free movement and hopefully speed up the process.
Hi
Thank you for this video
I have not been diagnosed but I had this same discomfort in my previous pregnancy but it appeared during the third trimester.
This time around I'm in first trimester and can already feel the pain..Still not diagnosed..my health care provider doesn't seem to know what it is
I haven't been having pain in the front yet, but I have been having SI joint pain for a while now (I'm 17 weeks). I've noticed working really irritates it. I push heavy boxes at work (I'm a stage hand). I was just thinking getting something similar to a back brace, but for my hips would help. Glad my instincts were right. I'm going to bring this up to my doctor in a couple weeks, because I think I might need to restrict my work schedule more. I try to avoid stairs too, but we live on the third floor and there's no elevator here
a chiropractor might help
I’m going through my first pregnancy. I’m in week 33 and it has been such a regular experience. I guess That’s why it’s been so surreal to me. The worst thing that has happened is heartburn but that has resided but NOW I have definitely started getting this type of pain. I keep it moving because the moment I’ve sat/laid down for a few it’s game over. I’m very ready to get it over. 😮💨
Same! Throughout the day I'm basically fine. But if I lay down or sit for a while I can't get back up without pain 😪 Nighttime is the WORST
Omg this is exactly what I needed right now!
This is the explanation I needed. I was thinking I was about to give birth 😂
Me too! 😅
Mine started at 15 weeks along. My son is now lil over three years old. I'm still in horrible pain I'm not in a wheelchair anymore, Im now using a walker. Im sleeping in a recliner, now Im seeing a spin doctor.
I'm seeing a Webster chiropractor which is helping.
Wow very interesting video. I have had terrible tailbone pain now seeing a physical therapist but wow not sure if it's the same thing. My physical therapist is sure it has to do with my pregnancies. I do have a belt I wear if I am in the car or sitting for a long time. My pain is when I sit too long very painful but the belt helps like hold everything together and the doing the exercises are helping too. She said I will probably have this problem for life. Not sure if this is the same thing or not.
Hi Sarah I was just wondering with you saying it can cause back pain and pain in the legs, how do you tell the difference between SPD and sciatica?
Thank uuuu
This information is so helpful, Im sobbing. This is so painful, I can't sleep, I'm just okay when im in the bath.
I read each and every comment to find a solution
1. No one suggested how it can get better
2. Everyone's doctor has no clue about it
3. Twisting and turning in bed is the worst for all
Please for God's sake, if anyone got better with anything, any exercise please help.
I will come back to this video to check if anyone is writing a solution.
Till then ladies keep affirming all day long that our Pubic pain is healing. I hope universe helps us all.
Sending positive vibrations to you all.❤
I wish this video was here last year!! SPD is terrible, the worst pain I have ever experienced aside from my gallbladder issues I had during pregnancy.
Thank you for this information! It’ll come in handy next time ♥️♥️
Same here, please share some tips with cholestatsis how you managed Pelvic girdle pain?
I didn’t have this pain prior to giving birth. I had a vacuum assisted birth that resulted in a separated pelvis and fractured tailbone. It took me 2 months to recover from. Literally felt like I had rocks in my pelvis. Could barely walk after delivery. I waited a year and a half and now I’m 28 weeks with my 2nd child. Starting at 18 weeks the discomfort started. Standing up and walking after lying down in bed has been really painful. It takes me 1-2 minutes to walk. Rolling from sides in bed while sleeping is very painful too. I started wearing my pelvic belt, sitting on a donut pillow, doing cat cows, kegels, and using a hot pad. This has helped a lot. I also use the pillow between my legs while sleeping, but haven’t tried the log roll as you described. So I will try this. I am going back to my pelvic floor physical therapy specialist next week. I saw her for 2 months after I delivered. I think the biggest problem I’m having now is deciding to try to give birth naturally or go for a C-section. I’m so scared that I will result in injury again. However a C-section isn’t easy either. Childbirth was traumatizing for me, so some days I’m convinced to do a C-section and not risk it. Very confused. My doctor says we can do either way, but she is pushing towards C-section too. Interested to see what the PT says. Thanks for the video
Hey would love to know if you went with c-section? Thanks
@@dlorit1512 Yes I did a C-section. Although it was really scary to do, baby was out and I realized I barely felt anything. Recovery was quick as well. Now, 9 months postpartum, I’m back working out and having some issues with my abdominal region tightening and not relaxing right away.
Currently suffering from pelvic pain im 36weeks pregnant but getting out of bed and turning around in bed is very painful
How did u get rid of it
Me too 😩
Me too
30 wks today with my 3rd and just had my first pt appointment last night for this. I get it every pregnancy. Perfect timing for this video.
Does it get worse? I have 2 had it pretty bad with the first, I do want a third baby
@@AnnaBee5171 It really depends on the individual. For myself it was not too bad with my first, but my second was really bad. I was also in dance classes at the time at a university which of course made it more noticeable lol. This time I was able to feel a mild version very early on and its progressively getting worse. Its not as bad as last time (yet). I am going to order an si belt and start wearing a maternity belt everyday in hopes that it helps. My second came out really fast though which was a nice trade off. Also, I've been giving myself a lot more grace and setting my bar low, because pregnancy in itself can be very hard even without other complications and it won't get better if I beat myself up mentally/emotionally for "not doing enough". I wish the best for you mama! I hope things go well for you if you go for another round.
39 weeks and 4 days with my fourth and can say i havent had alot of pelvic pain. My 2nd and 3rd child at six months instart3d having terrible pelvic pain until i was in labor. Im wondering why i domt have that much with this one. Im glad tho. I know each pregnancy is different
I’m 38 weeks and have to use crutches. Hospital let me use their wheelchair when I go check up appointments. I wished I did pelvic exercises in earlier weeks and knew about this! Can’t put heat on it for too long either. Midwife suggested induction at week 40 😢
Watching from Papua 🇵🇬 New Guinea 🇵🇬, thanks 😇
I am 10 weeks feeling this it took 15 years to have a second child and ALL of this is new..
I’ve had pubic bone pain for the last two weeks. It is indeed annoying.
I am also feeling this pain very badly currently I am 34 weeks pregnant
Discomfort understatement. This is my 3rd child never had it and I have 2 weeks to go I can't imagine having this paun for 2 weeks I can't walk
I'm SO thankful for this video. I had SPD with my second pregnancy, but no one seemed to know what it was. And now with my third pregnancy, my current doctor isn't very aware of it, but THANKFULLY sent a referral to a physical therapist to help me with it. It's awful feeling like everything I do will cause more pain. Thank you for all of this information!
I had SPD during my last pregnancy.. don’t wish that upon anyone!
I was literally wheelchair bound because of this. It was crazy painful.
What would cause pain like this after delivery in the front of the pelvis? Nothing during pregnancy only after🙄I dealt with that for months 😭
I've been suffering with this for about 15 weeks it was dull but bareable now I'm 30 weeks and it's horrible so painful. Even to walk.
How do I know if it’s spd or round ligament pain?
Hi from Trinidad and Tobago my wife is 3 months and gets plenty pain what can we do
I had SPD starting at about 28 weeks. My daughter was born at 31 weeks so it may have been that plus her being ready to come out lol
And I am the 1%...I feel the pain from 13 weeks...sometimes it's really unbearable...
A question about SPD: I was diagnosed with it in my first pregnancy, but I wasn't able to afford physio and mostly managed it with keeping my legs together when turning, and all the great things you recommended in your video. Is this likely to reoccur in subsequent pregnancies?
I had SPD from 12 weeks with my first and it started earlier with my second 😔.
Yup
I’m pregnant with twins for my second pregnancy and it started earlier plus I’m really feeling that lower back/tailbone pain that radiates into the back of my thighs, which I only felt it in the front with my first. Hopefully not for you though!
Yes! I'm on my 4th pregnancy & it started 2 days ago at 10 weeks. After each pregnancy I still had trouble moving things with my feet or if I turned too quickly i would get sharp pain, years after giving birth. My first 2 are 2 years apart then 5 years later had my 3rd & now pregnant with #4 & my 3rd just turned 2 years old. Hope I didn't confuse you.
I am 13 weeks pregnant and I started with the discomfort on my pubic area and my left side of my butt. I thought it was probably my sciatica. My OB’s nurse said it was normal. Sometimes I feel like more when I walk. I didn’t experience this with my first one.
Sarah can u please help me... I'm 13w1d with my 8th baby and my uterus is not above my pubic bone yet. I'm very concerned as the rest of my children I could feel my uterus around 11 weeks. So I'm a little worried. Is this something to worry about? My US at 10w3d showed everything was perfect...
Mine was on the left side with both pregnancies. Both times I was told round ligament pain but once I found out about spd I was like that's it! The obgyns didn't know what it was though so I got no help. I had a pregnancy pillow my 2nd one though and turning over in bed and all was WAY easier.
What happens if nothing helps? My pain I had with my son was so painful I ended up with prenatal depression to the point it was so severe it was so painful
I’m almost 39 weeks and I have this pain all the time, even when just walking or laying, it hurts so much and I’m always so uncomfortable 😢
Me too. I also have it while sitting. I was reading the comments to see if anyone was feeling like me
I’m feeling this more now in my 3rd pregnancy. A hot bath with massage helps and sitting on a yoga ball. 🐱
I’m in my second trimester and been having this pain since 15 weeks pregnant. Feels like someone kicked me down there. Is that the pain I’m supposed to feel? I does not hurt when I touch it, it hurts when I move
I'm trying so hard to understand what happened to me! Pelvic Girdle seems closest to what experienced. I started having pelvic/groin/hip pain in my 2nd pregnancy. It was better after she was born, but then i was pregnant again when she was only 6 mos old. I had that horrible pain during that pregnancy (limping to bed by the end of the day). And it hasn't gotten better... and he was born 5 years ago! For so long, i couldn't squat, get out of bed, had to sit down just to put pants on... in my early 30s and i felt 70. It's been so defeating! Things are a bit better now. But I'm still in low- grade pain every single day.
I’m 37 weeks 2 days pregnant
Loe Sarah I also have that pain ryt now how can deal with it
I'm experiencing this pain from my 2nd trimester started, now I'm in my 25th week and i can't walk or move around the bed, my pubic hurting like hell, idk what to do 😢
tly 32 weeks pregnant with my second baby and my pelvis pain is on 10000%. Almost 33 weeks 🥰!!! It’s difficult to sleep, sit down , walk, etc.
My baby girl is always active 🥰and I’m always running to pee 😂…. However I’m hoping I can gain comfort soon so I will be able to sleep properly! I sleep with my pregnancy pillow however turning to sleep on opposite side is pain in the back side.
Any one have any tips for me please comment below !! Please 🙏🏾🥰
This pain is so unbearable 😢....
Im in first trimester, i am experiencing this pain, it goes down close to my vagina
I have a question for ya. What about vibrating pain around public area or vagina? My baby was seriously moving and kicking, now it feels down there like it's throbbing or vibrating. Do you have a video explaining that? 😢
I have felt this too!!! It feels so strange!
I am 14 week pregnant. And that pain starts. Can't move in bed can't walk. Is this pain goes on its own or some treatment is there
Until now it so much painful😢😢😢
This happened to me .. I could not get around. Such such terrible pain I couldn’t do anything by myself not even take a bath .
What I do is to really sit on the floor while having a bath 😫
I m 17 weeks pregnant and pelvic pain started in 14 weeks exactly and m having very severe pain in some mornings nt everyday and my doc suggested me to visit physiotherapist but i was scared to go coz i have low lying placenta as well so should i still go to physiotherapist?? I m scared a lil
I really feel like my pelvic bone is falling apart, it’s hard to walk
I'm not seeing the link for the pelvic support belt
added!
Thnx for video...m from Pakistan...and worried that nobody knows my paiñ
People with SPD, are you still able to work ? I just can’t take the pain anymore. I can’t stand up, I can’t sit for long periods. I had to leave work yesterday because of it.
Nope I cant get to work. Ask your work if you can do working from home or ask for adjustments e.g. 15mins break every 30mins of sitting down as you need to get up and walk. Don’t let them force early maternity leave
25 weeks and I can’t walk properly especially at night i even can’t go to washroom 😭😭. Worried about my baby
I have been having this pain from 27 weeks pregnant and now I am 31 weeks and still have the pain and the doctor ain't doing anything for me
watching at 1st
10 years after giving birth and I still have it and it still pops

For a mom how would she have her baby
