Dear Rambalac, Our hearts are heavy with what you obviously are feeling and going through. Depression is a serious matter and your words are heartbreaking and concerning. First and foremost, you need to take care of yourself and hopefully find someone professional to help guide you through. As we read through so many of these posts, know that you are loved and appreciated and we will echo that you are definitely not boring. Without you, and your desire and thoughtfulness to walk the many streets and roads of Japan, we would not have experienced the love that we feel today for this beautiful country. So much so, that we are learning the language and finally we’re able to visit Japan in February and hoped by some chance we would see you walking about. We will come again and hope to see you then! Such a great experience is felt through your videos, from the variety of areas (far and near) that you visit, through various seasons, the carefree playfulness you exhibit in the playgrounds (we still laugh about your trip down the slide), the cat lover in you, tea time, and the wonderful length of the walks and quality videography. To be honest, for us, you are the original walker and we are here for you. Do not give up on your search for love. We will rally around you and for you. Please take care of yourself but come back to us. All our love. 🤍🤍🤍

Rambalac you inspired a whole genre of people to walk and film in silence not just in Japan but in cities all around the world. This includes myself I had a channel from 2020-2021, but I live in a boring city in Texas still walking around and exploring my environment while filming helped me with my own depression especially during Covid. Unfortunately I deleted the channel after I was bullied online by another RUclipsr named 4K Wanderer from Toronto Canada, all while dealing with depression and losing people who were close to me. Anyways again thank you Rambalac for inspiring me, I now have a love for videography, photography, and Japan because of you and it’s made my life a little better since then. 😢

I always have to remember that you did this for us and our enjoyment and it's not nearly the same thing as doing something for yourself and your own enjoyment. We see the splendor and the inspiring views of the cities... of the parks, of everything, but that's not the same thing you see. And now with things in perspective, a lot of us can see it now. Like that Tokyo rainy night in 100 minutes vid... right before you go under that train bridge, you have that young couple pass you so you're now walking behind them the whole length of that tunnel, while they hold hands. Feeling lonely in a city where you see that many people every day... it's gotta be maddening. It's not going to be easy. and it's not always going to be all right. some days it's just gonna suck. I think you're taking the right path here. You have to complete yourself first, a significant other cannot do that for you, lest you get addicted, which is unhealthy and then you're back at square one. It will be hard, but no matter what happens, don't forsake yourself and your own feelings just so you won't be lonely.

You have no idea how many times you helped with my anxiety, just watching would make me feel relaxed and plenty. You were my distraction for the hard days after I lost my childhood pet 💔
After discovering this channel, I would find all other walks on RUclips to be badly recorded and would even think that at any moment the walker was going to stop at a vending machine and buy that same tea you always bought, thats how used to I became to your channel.

Actually I wasn't interested in getting an HDTV but I liked your RUclips channel so I eventually bought a 4K TV! I was watching your channel alone and now even my family is watching it with me... Also I love Japan but I can't go there thank you for making me feel the experience of walking there, I lived a beautiful experience that I hope will not end...

So many have left their comments here to pay their thanks and show respect to what you have accomplished with your some 1000+ videos of your walks in Japan and around the world--I too wish to say mine: I have struggled with a terrible wall in my life, in the form of a phobia of being around crowds, since I was a child. I had to leave sleepovers, then abandon school trips, avoid graduation ceremonies, and some days, could not even get my mail. I wished so badly to go to another country, to travel, that I would watch movies, play games, and most commonly, watch videos like yours, to make me feel as though I was travelling, without having to face my fears. But I can say happily, while it is still hard, I am now 1200 miles away from home, living in another country, for over two years--and it is in no small part due to your videos. Seeing you walk around with ease, at such a brisk pace and taking in the sights, with no fear shown through the camera, only reverence and quiet observation to your surroundings...it was truly inspiring. I watched your videos, Rambalac, right before I made my big leap and went on my new "adventure." And I still watch them today, to prepare me for my next one. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures for all to see--and all to help.

Rambalac-san, you have inspired so many of us and I hope we get to do the same for you! I know that the world can seem dark at times, but there is always a silver lining. You make such amazing videos with endless passion for everything you do. Please don't hesitate if you need to talk to anyone. You are a human being and you matter! we are all standing here with you so please don't ever give up on yourself!! focus on self-love and taking necessary breaks when needed. Of the few channels I'm subscribed to, yours is the only one I watch with pleasure, unfortunately I don't know English so I use Google translator if I have errors, you know the reason. As much as all the subscribers are separated by long distances, you managed to unite everyone with the love you have for your work, but say harsh words to yourself, I guarantee that the majority see you as a brother in a huge family that you set up with your art, I wish you well and that you return soon. Rambalac, I fell into depression after 10 years in Japan. It can be very difficult to always be seen as an outsider. I left in 1990 and never went back. I can visit through your videos. But I have no regrets in leaving, the challenges out weighed the benefits of living there. Maybe you can return to your home country to rest and plan your next steps. Let us know ha you are doing when you feel better. Take care from Vancouver. Thanks for being kind to the cats.

I suggest leaving Japan for a few months, maybe seeing a professional, and seeing how you feel. It is not easy to get out because Japan has many good qualities. but not the kind for a foreigners mental health. Many Japanese also suffer, they just don't discuss their depression. But we have to be careful, nothing is worth because

I found it right about the peak of the pandemic I went from present university to online, I was completely miserable. I would cry almost every day while studying and at night. But then I found your channel and I can not tell the amounts of times I have pleasantly studied and slept to MANY of your amazing videos. They really truly helped me and from the bottom of my heart I thank you because I’m about to graduate in June.
Keep it going dear friend and when ever your feeling down remember how much you have help others with your peaceful videos, trust me when I say you channel is in no way meaningless.
