Well it was a civil war no? The people of South Vietnam was defending themselves as well against the North Vietnamese. If there wouldn't have been a civil war with one side being communist USA wouldn't have any reason to go there. Of course its a complex thing but the reality was at the time there was two Vietnam, one side fighting the other side.

The problem was the U.S public opnion made by weak people, and not the U.S forces, they failed in their objective to stop North to invade the South, but the millitary victory goes to U.S

I've been studying alot about this time era and the war itself even though you need more then brute strength to "win" a war because no one really wins at the end of a war now it was true no amount of firepower the us dropped into the NVA and TNLF *viet cong* troops but not a single time during all of it they ran the American forces off the battlefield so to me it truly was a "draw" and to the most part I would side with the north because of the history of this country itself love this world and all its people
I complete all the mission more than 10 times when this game released . But I stop playing this game Since in 2015 or before , this is very interested game like IGI 1
