- If the 1:1 scale Gundam, the Gunpla Tokyo museum, or everything in the pay zone wasn't enough to get you to Odaiba, there's also the official shops! They've got Gunpla (and loads Gundam-related items) filling the shelves, plus lots of exclusive products that can only be purchased at Gundam Front Tokyo!

Back when I lived in Tokyo, nothing seemed to beat the prices of Yodobashi and Bic camera, if you weren't looking for exclusives. For that I'd go to Hobby-Off, you could find some crazy rare stuff there sometimes.
These videos are awesome and only fuel my desire to spend my vacation days doing a crazy Gunpla trip.

My dream is now to go to a gundam shop =(((... Too bad theres no online shop or store to sell gunpla in my country... To get one i would have to buy from amazon on ebay and then pay as much or even more for import fees and shipping D=...soo sad...
Take my advice,if you don't know where to get cheap gundams in Japan,just go to Yodobashi,it's a huge chain of giant shopping malls filled with tons of IT and other stuffs including gundams,they can be found at every city (not sure),but one thing is for sure that the model kits there are cheap.

hi ,i just stared to build gunpla,so i a newbie,i just want to ask ,i heard from others that in japan ,there are shops that don't sell SD Gundam BB Senshi or old SD Gundam BB Senshi,is that true??
Hi @zakuaurelius, I've been subscribed to your channel for some time now and frankly I really like your reviews.
However, I think you should consider how you call those kits garbage and stuff. The staff at BANDAI put in a lot of effort to design and produce those kits. Even if the kits are not so awesome now, you can still refer to them as dated or something. I'm sure you wouldn't want anyone to call the kits you've built trash.
It's just joking.

I like the gundam franchise in overall terms,although i like mazinger,macross and patlabor far more.I have about 20 different kits, some books and some video games. But i simply cannot understand how is that bandai can sell so many models,toys and other merchandise to this level of saturation. is mindbogling!!! 10,000 version of the same damn robot. i mean,you can say that hasbro and disney do exactly the same with star wars. but star wars stores taken to this level?? is ridiculous.again i cannot understand this level of fanatism

That's Katsumi Kawaguchi. He's basically Bandai's spokesman for Gunpla, a master, and the inspiration for the Meijin Kawaguchi character in build fighters

If you mean the gundam at the 2:54 mark, next to the G-self Gundam, that's the G-Phenex Destroy Mode.
EDIT: It could be the Unicorn Gundam Phenex Type RC but that's more silverish than grey iirc

Yeah that's the real "Meijin" Kawaguchi. After Build Fighters he now sometimes wears those glasses in promotional material.

They exist cause people buy them. SD are kits you build, Converge are just little figures.
