The BECMI books are great suppliments for OSE. There's a channel, BECMI Berserker, that does a lot of really good videos breaking down the BECMI stuff. Loving the solo series, stay cool pal and happy Delving!
The 2 secrets they don't want you to know are: - You can start building your domain from 1st level. - You can take over ruins. They're free. ....Yes, you can even build Keeps using 1:1 time. It does take months, but that equates to maybe a dozen sessions.
Thank you for demonstrating how Domain Play works, Mike. I may try this out in my solo 3.5 campaign. I did have a question related to your videos in general. What do you use for the top down camera angle? I know you mentioned in a previous video that you record with your phone, but do you use a tripod? Does it get in your way while recording?
Thank you for checking it out! I use an attachment arm that holds the camera and has a built in light. The arm bends with like 6 different joints and is perfect for videos.
Do you have a link for it by chance? Also, do you use a monitor or something to be able to view what your phone sees while recording, or do you have to get up to see the phone screen? Sorry for all the questions. I have been thinking about recording my own solo play, and just trying to figure out how others do it because it looks very professional. lol
@@Arekkusu666 I set up the view before hand and can’t see during the game. I try to stay in frame. I don’t have a link as I bought it in China, but you can find many articulated desk mounts for your camera or phone.
Great full on Dungeons & Dragons Basic Set rules, very Old School and very Cool! Do you use the XP generation, too? Or only the Gold? Your Knight "Sir Bedaveire Ironhawke" would get 714 (119 x 6) XP for March alone, do give that straight to your OSE PC or do you modify it in some way?
I'm desperately hoping for the part 2 on this!
@@olympiaoshiadahail9216 I need to get on it!

Berserker is great! I want those box sets so badly, but sadly, I must settle for the PDFs 😂
Awesome! I've been looking forward to this one! 🎉
I enjoy this aspect of D&D a lot, and it gets very little attention.

All facts.

Lord Scutifer, a fair and just ruler. What does your heraldry look like? What do your banner man carry into battle?!
I love this comment so much. 😂 Sir Bedaveire’s heraldry is a lime green hawk perched on top of a blue keep.
Dayumn! This seems like a LOT for just a month, especially for the growth in number of families 😮 I might try this as a per year system in my game 🤔
It represents new families moving into your hex due to a new flourishing economy.
Ooooh! Okay that makes more sense, I thought it was representing deaths and births and marriages and such lol

You get gold and XP. He would get 714 XP and 500GP after the taxes to the church and liege.
