Nobody can get used to the cold. We have a hot summer + 40, a very warm autumn, we get used to the heat, and then abruptly - cold! A brutal cold winter is coming! But we remember it, therefore, we are psychologically prepared for it. Only mentally prepared, but still cold, but what to do?" 2. "I still don't understand why it gets so cold there. It’s just that it happens there that at the end of autumn it was still normal, and then it gets sharply cold. And it would be nice if the temperature there dropped to - 15, but it drops to -30 to -50 degrees. It feels like the cold from the upper layers of the atmosphere descends sharply, just at an altitude of 10 km where planes fly just the temperature is 50 degrees. Living in the south of western Siberia, there are also frosts up to -30 to -40, but this is very rare. And you have a freezer there. As an African who was born and raised in the most beautiful tropical country, Uganda, but now living in the United States of America, and who hates the cold, I have a lot of respect for these guys who work in such unfriendly environments. 40°F is already bad for me, but imagine -70°F! I get a headache just thinking about it. Growing up in my country, Uganda, you don't have to worry about weather at all because it's always beautiful, especially in the Western part of the country. God made my country with all his/her heart as a master piece. Folks down there might not have a lot of possessions, but they have little to worry about, and certainly not the weather!
I'm from south Florida and have always wanted to visit Uganda. I'm shook that you left such a beautiful place to move to the US 😂 but I have traveled all over the US and there are some really beautiful places. The deserts were my favorite.

I really like watching these winter videos about Yakutia, since the extremely harsh winters are its main and unique characteristics, but let me ask something In the future, will you do a video about an average summertime day in Yakutsk? I'm pretty curious how different the city and its inhabitants daily lives in a warm July day when it's averaging +26°C, occasionally above +30°C (I've seen pictures where people are bathing in the Lena river etc.) I would like to see a video like that aswell 😁
@Sofia Brown TBH I used ggl translate for this, and thanks for your answer, but that video is about a national festival (which was good to see) but by my comment, I meant everyday summertime city life in Yakutsk, not an exact event
Жизнь летом обычная, как в любом другом городе России. Довольно жарко, особенно на контрасте с зимой. Летом обычно +30-35°. Минусы лета проявляются, только в пожарах. Очень много дыма, который мешает дышать.
These videos show how we are all from the same tapestry. Maybe mankind needs something (like the weather) to make them understand how much we need each other. All your videos are so enjoyable and full of insight.
Always so interesting. How does this winter compare to last? Would be great to hear some stories from your parents of how things have changed since they were younger.

I just wanted to say thank you for this video and all your other ones too. You are obviously a talented filmmaker with your team giving the whole world an insight into your hometown. I always find them really interesting. My only little bit of feedback is that none of the people featured here are women, who I've seen in past videos are at least teachers, nurses and I think doctors too. Even in 2024 with a talented women filmmaker, it is still very important to feature women in all key aspects of society, especially work. In fact, if you were able to, I think it'd be very interesting to make a video about what life is like being a girl or a woman in Yakutia.
Every work in any country that is aimed at the benefit of society and the good of the country deserves more respect. Hello everyone from Western Siberia Russia.
That video was so interesting thank you. Definitely satisfies the curiosity in me. Yes I’d like to see the street cleaners receive more pay as well.. it may be because it’s unskilled labour but a living wage would be far more appropriate. ❤

Salute all the Daredevils officials and crews who tackle such dangerous conditions ❤️🙏🙏🙏
We should respect these responsible people who are constantly going through so much trouble and making people's lives easier.
Очень интересно узнавать как живут люди в таких далёких и холодных местах! Как справляются с проблемами, работой и чем живут. Спасибо!
Прив у нас каждое лето пожары а зимой -59
As a South Korean, we have for season. Super hot summer and super cold winter. Of course not as much as yakuts. Especially when I was in the army, I experienced -15 degree and realized about horror of the cold ! I can't imagine -60 degree !!
Thank you for this video....I loved it! Please keep telling us about how people live in the coldest city on earth, you are doing an awesome job.
Потрясающее видео👏🏻
Thank you Kiun for terrific information and show to everyone that there's humanity in every spot of our precious earth. See you're approaching million subs as your vids are gaining traction -congrats and love !!
Uganda has a beautiful landscape, that is for sure ❤❤
Uganda and Russia beautiful countries and people 👍👍👍❤️
I'm from south Florida and have always wanted to visit Uganda. I'm shook that you left such a beautiful place to move to the US 😂 but I have traveled all over the US and there are some really beautiful places. The deserts were my favorite.
@@rebeccaspratling2865 sometimes people leave their countries because there is no choice, some countries are so corrupt that there is no other way. There are no jobs, food is pricey, they even escape from political circumstances. There are some places in the world that we missed but it not good for people to live.
If Uganda is so nice, why are you in America??
You are brave guys, real heroes!
The street cleaners cool down when taking a break 😅. Working keeps them warm. What a tough job.
Nice Sailor Moon poster.
Your videos are very inspiring.
I have watched several videos from Kium B and they are fascinating. What I always notice is how clean and modern and perfectly kept homes there are.
😅 Do they tell you that people don't live well in Russia? Don't believe your media.
Yakuts are very neat and love design in their homes, Yakut women sew everything well, dress well and beautifully, can draw - almost everything
Kiun, your channel is MARVELOUS. Thank you
I really like watching these winter videos about Yakutia, since the extremely harsh winters are its main and unique characteristics, but let me ask something
In the future, will you do a video about an average summertime day in Yakutsk?
Love from South Africa 🇿🇦 ❤
I've gone down a Yakutsk rabbit hole and I'm loving it
What an absolutely fascinating and insightful video. I'd love to see more of the working lives of locals. What amazing, hard workers.
Thank you for sharing what life is like in your beautiful home. These videos are always so well done
Thank you again for sharing this incredible and beautiful culture!
Hard people and strong mentality. Respect.
These videos show how we are all from the same tapestry. Maybe mankind needs something (like the weather) to make them understand how much we need each other. All your videos are so enjoyable and full of insight.
Aliens from outer space could show us
The team work is to be commended!
hello from hawaii. love these Yakutia videos
I really like your videos :) greetings from Croatia 🇭🇷
Always so interesting. How does this winter compare to last? Would be great to hear some stories from your parents of how things have changed since they were younger.
Well done.
One of your best videos.

From a guy living the new standing of "life" I am inpisred buy these good people and quietly a little shock what they are getting paid for the tremendous job the have partaken to provide to their home. I'm going to do better after remembering what humanity + being a community is what really life is about, top love to everyone worldwide especially you guys x ^^
Extremely informative and very interesting. Please keep posting videos about life in your home.
Really want to watch a video like a day in the life of a office worker in the coldest city on earth 🥰 thanks KiunB
Спасибо, что делитесь с миром буднями нашего края
Respect...
Every work in any country that is aimed at the benefit of society and the good of the country deserves more respect. Hello everyone from Western Siberia Russia.

Props to all those men working in those conditions
Thanks Kiun for another excellent video. Thanks for making us meet Nikolai and his family. Well done Kiun
Wow! Great video. Thank you for sharing
The fact that we barely have street cleaners here while these guys are doing the job in deep snow. (Czech Republic)
In Southern Ontario, Canada our coldest winter temperatures are only -20C, and that feels like instant frostbite! I can't even imagine -50.
That video was so interesting thank you. Definitely satisfies the curiosity in me. Yes I’d like to see the street cleaners receive more pay as well.. it may be because it’s unskilled labour but a living wage would be far more appropriate. ❤
thank you for teaching me the experience in ur country
I'm watching from 🇺🇲
