      Thanks.
Ya, that sound is caused by the type of power that the Castle esc sends to the Revolver outrunner motor, uses the motor a sort-of a speaker. Hopefully one day the new crop of esc's will have enough power to move such a big rc quietly using an outrunner.

It's definitely my best snow truck. With the independent suspension and completely smooth bottom, it does really well in the snow.

I just picked up a super clean axial 6x6.
Going with a powerwagon body and custom bed. Going for the old army look.

      That's awesome, Buddy.
Those are going to get harder and harder to get.
Axial had their booth at KOH last year. They had all their rigs displayed but the 6x6. Found out they had discontinued it. I was surprised. I thought it was selling well, but apparently not. A lot of people were having problems with the pass-through axle. There's a lot of angle on the helical cut gears that the pinion can turn the ring gear easily, but the ring has a much harder time turning the pinion for the rear axle. Similar to a worm-gear axle.... a Worm Gear gear trying to turn a the pinion , but not to that extreme.
I've talked to quite a few owners. Some have had absolutely no problems, and others have.
At this last Pro-Line By The Fire, a buddy of Jeremy had an RC4WD 6x6(with the Trailfinder axles)with a Power Wagon body for sale. I was extremely tempted to buy it. But I'd be starting from scratch on technically another Trailfinder but with an extra axle....I'm not fond of those axles and always swap them out. They just "money" me to death.

Which pinion gear do you use? 10T or 14T? Some other? Also, do you still use Mamba Monster or have you replaced it with some other ESC (maybe CrawlMaster Mini v2)? Also, could you tell which model of the Pro-Line shocks do you use?
Regarding the sound - I think that in conjunction with appropriate sound module (diesel tank) the sound could be interpreted like "Turbo Diesel".

Sorry there's such a large delayed response. RUclips don't tell me these things anymore.
I still use a 1000kv Revolver and a Momba Monster esc. I honestly don't think a CM Mimi would handle the 30+ pounds....on-top of that, I'd have to add a BEC for shifting the 2-speed.
The Pro-Line Shocks are the short 70-75mm Pro-spec Shocks. They literally just bolt on and are perfect.
As for the pinion, I'm running a stock pinion. I think they Cross supplied tw of them and I'm running the smallest one.
Sound? I honestly couldn't figure out how to install the stock sound set-up to I didn't.
I'll probably get an aftermarket sound box later.
