Hey Jose! Thank you for the knowledge share! How much should a dry cartridge weigh after soaking in the rejuvenating fluid?

Watched ALOT of these videos... Thanks! Question, outside of the yellow do you need to worry about the flushing, reconditioning if you just go straight from a freshly drained OEM cartridge (gets low after printing)? My thoughts were to buy a Pro100, buy another set of fresh OEM ink => 2 sets of OEM carts. Feel the need to flush both yellow carts so I don't have to use the PC ARC compatible cart they send. Thoughts?

Either that of buy pre modified and flushed carts from the EBAY store linked on my video descriptions. They are ready to be reset and refilled. You cane then tackle your carts one at a time as needed. Drying them takes days.

@@cheo1949 When you buy the ones at the Ebay link do they require reconditioning or do you just fill with the ink? Might go that path if I can just refill and go. Thanks in advance!

A little advice to anyone who wants to speed up the cartridge drying process. In the video Jose says it might take several days to wick away enough moisture to make the cartridge 13.6-14g. I can make the cartidge go from 20g to 14g overnight by using the paper towel wicking method and also putting the cartridge with the paper towel wick rubberbanded to it in a closet with a dehumidifier running. The dehumidifier and paper towel wick methods used together will have you go from 20g to 13.6g overnight.

Or bang em in the oven, not everyone has a dehumidifier!

Watched all the videos. Thanks so much for doing this! It cleared a lot of things up for me. I do wish I used windex rather than the solution I made with water, alcohol, and glycerin. I am now wondering if my chips are reset correctly because I didn't wait for the solid light to go out.

The glycerin / alcohol soulksoulkutinis not really for flushing. It is for restoring the sponges. You need to add 3% ammonia to turn it into a flushing solution! But just use Windex!

It's a cheap Non Name Chinese micro scale. They are all over EBAY and Amazon. About $25

For this purpose, one that measures around 0-100 grams will do well. No real need to get anything too High end. Mine can do 0.00 to 100.00 grams for around $30. Sorry but these things usually do not really have names nor brands.

The regular ones with the tabs. The difference in weight is irrelevant

I like to save money as much as the next guy, but the amount of labor, the mess and so on and then to have to be concerned about whether the color of my prints is correct? After watching all this, I'm more convinced now that I oughta just bite the bullet and continue with OEM Canon cartridges.

It's not as bad as it looks. Trust me.
