Just ran across this video, thanks for making it. Such a high quality production! This will come in handy, since it's my first time playing Fallout 1. However, I stumbled upon a weird bug while using this mod: while in the world map, when a random encounter happened, instead of the game loading it, it would load the screen of a previous random encounter. But, on this random encounter, there would be a weird visual bug where the sprites keep repeating as I walk on the screen (leaving something like a trail of sprites) and I can't exit this random encounter by any side of the screen, leaving me stuck at that screen. So, basically, it's a dead end for the game. The weirder thing is that, if I reload a save that I saved just before the problem happened, that problem will happen again with considerable consistency, which makes me think that whatever is happening is spoiling the whole playthrough. What I did to try to solve that was trying to backup the saves, uninstall everything and install everything again, adding the mod and adding the exact same settings as you pointed on the video and, after that, re-adding the save files. This ended up not giving me my saves back, so I ended up losing the progress that I had so far. But, since it's my first playthrough, the loss was of about an hour of gaming only. Did you stumbled upon this bug sometime? If yes, do you know if it is related to any settings in the mod? If not, would you know if there's a way for me to debug that (like a log or something)? Any help would be appreciated! I am loving the game and it seems like using the mod improves the experience, so I wanted to give it a proper try!

I am loving the game and it seems like using the mod improves the experience, so I wanted to give it a proper try!
did you manage to solve it?
@@S4N1T03T3R It was a long time ago, so I guess I haven't gone into the root cause of the problem, and just started again with a new save.
I’ve really enjoyed my first playthrouhh of Fallout 2 recently and I’m going to play 1. I’ve owned both forever but with this I’m definitely going to do it
its a great game = )
Amazing tutorial as always! Thanks for bringing the love to a classic. Looking forward to your next Skyrim City Mod Showcase.
appreciate ya = )
Thank you for this. Fallout 1 feels and looks so much better now! I’m doing my 2nd run after vanilla version.
Jesust, this video had no business being so epic
YESSSSSSS WE LOVE GAMERPOETS HELPING US WITH FALLOUT!!!!!!! My pc can't handle games with intense graphics rn so this seems like the perfect thing to play!!! cant wait!!!!1
An excellent "How To Make Your Own Remastered Fallout 1 and 2 video! Also, good relationship advice at 8:12 although I may add that you should have the slinky so you know you're guaranteed to win.
Lol ahh man
you sir are a legend
this video will help many hundreds of thousands of people over the coming years
you have contributed well towards humanity
Thank you Sir Foster = )
This guy invested points in Charisma.
Yooooo I truly appreciate the way you approach creating informative videos. Timestamps on the right, unique aspect ratio, great quality on both audio and video. Earned a sub today brother. Thank you!
Dude, your voice is so smooth that at first I thought it was AI generated or some kind of text-to-speech tool!
Thank you for this great tutorial, I can't wait to begin playing!
😊 🙏
And with the quality of the video, especially with a favourite game of mine like fallout, you have earned yourself a new sub, well done team, well done.
Just 1 person :) glad you liked it
@@gamerpoets conducting my playthrough of fallout 1 and 2 now, thanks to your advices :))
This is a best mod tutorial to a game I've seen in my life. Installing now to GOG version and keeping my fingers crossed it will not crash when trying to enter Brotherhood of Steel which happened to me couple of years ago in Steam version which basically blocked me from playing... BTW I would kill for a similar video for Fallout 2.
Some day I swear I'm going to get to my steam backlog of games. The early fallout games are near the top of my list. Definitely coming back to this video later.
You are truly wonderful GamerPoets. I was in love right at "You Got This" - thank you very much for all your hard work, thanks to you I can play my beloved games modded, relatively stress-free. Thank you!
Thank you for your kind comment and time = )
while you edit the files hit ctrl f to open find and type or copy and paste what you wish to change. example: WorldMapEncounterFix no need to add =1 or whatever as that's what you are changing and it may not find it if it's not set like that. this helps with scrolls and trying to find ea thing
A video where watching to the end is truly worth it. 😂
you are a niche gamer but one who caters to an albeit large niche, i appriciate this, you might like kenshi or the M&B games but they are sandbox. no other video like this on youtube and your DynDOLOD videos are a godsend. bless you brother gamer.
thanks Noah = )
Awesome - thank you!
Thank you for the tutorial! About to play Fallout 1 for the first time ever.
I hope you enjoy it = ) Its a great game.
Your Voice is so beautiful I cried
I need to remember about this one if I ever get back to classics - not being able to move NPCs in FO1 caused me quite a lot of grief
Thank you for the video! After 25 years, I will play Fallout 1 once more and revive all those good memories again.
Edit: who else is playing again after after having seen the TV Show?
Glad you liked it = )
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS i was in my monthly Classic fallout fase but didnt want to play the dated and annoying bugs of fallout 1
Underrated channel...and i mean it... especially this video
its appreciated
Thank you for this homie you are a true legend!
i know this is random, but youre genuinely the only persons tutorials i trust when it comes to anything modding, i have a suggestion since there isnt a single video that explains well enough, KNVSE, i notice people say overriding animations is simple but like, thats some bull, itd be much easier if there was a visual way to do it y'know?
Perfect video. With perfect explanation, amazing narration, and a personal touch. That's how you make mf guides, people. Perfect amount of ADHD and autism, so that even people remotely aware of how computer works would understand. Thank you.
