I would say it’s on the top 5, alongside: - poisoning Brock - giving Jesse to Jack + showing him where Andrea lived (he should have known that it couldn’t be safe for her and Brock) - murdering Mike - ordering the prison massacre (I know they were criminals, but so was Walt, plus they were already in prison and most of them had families to look after, just like Walt)
@@rafaelfranco3019-About Brock, He poisoned a child to get Jesse back on his side to kill Gus, why ? BECAUSE he was trying to save Hank and the rest of his family from getting murdered by Gus, Gus was planning on killing Walt too. Plus in S5 he told Jesse that he gave him the right amount of poison so he would survive. And Walt was relieved when Jesse told him that Brock (the kid) was going to make it. Now what's worse, you your brother in law, wife, son and infant daughter getting murdered, or child getting poisoned with the right amount of poison and surviving at the end ? People do the impossible to save their family, and so does walt. -About giving Jesse to Jack, well Walt wanted Jack to kill Jesse, he never wanted to enslave him, that was their decision. Before all of that, Walt never wanted to kill Jesse, both Skyler and Saul told him to kill Jesse but he refused, because he cares about him, after Jesse found out about Brock, Walt told him to come to the public square so he could explain to him why he did it, when Jesse came, he saw a big looking guy in front of Walt and thought he was going to kill him (while Walt wasn't going to kill him), so he threatened Walt. Walt then had to put a hit on Jesse to protect himself and his family, he even told Jack to do it Quick and painless, he had no choice. After Jack killed Hank, he told him to kill Jesse and gave him to them because he literally snitched on him, threatened him and got Hank killed, but he didn't want him to be enslaved, he even sacrificed his life in the end to save him after he saw what they did to him, despite everything. -About Mike and the prisoners, I didn't want him to kill mike too, but then I realized that if he didn't do that, Mike would've came back to kill Walt after he kills his guys. Mike should've agreed with Walt, one of them (the lawyer) literally snitched on Mike, but he still trusts them for some reason and still wants to pay them, he took a half measure when he should've gone all the way. He should've gave Walt the names, plus Dennis (one of his guys) was literally ready to tell hank everything in return they would give him freedom, but Hank refused, if he didn't, Dennis would've told him everything. Walter can't risk to get caught, he wanted to live a happy life with his family, and he didn't want Hank and Jr to find out. Mike accused him for Gus' Downfall while it was 100% Jesse's fault. Jesse did 3 BIG mistakes that led to Gus' downfall, and Mike blamed Walt for no reason, he was 100% wrong, he made Walt mad because he blamed him for something he didn't do.
"it's not your fault" sad thing is he doesn't know that Walt could've saved Jane. "It's not my fault" that could be true but you could also make the argument that if Jesse wasn't doing drugs around her she wouldn't have gotten him into heroin. "It's not even her fault" While that also may be true you can make the argument that she chose to do heroin again regardless of whether or not she was influenced by Jesse or not
It's all three of their faults. Walt coz like directly yo. Jane coz she'd threatened Walt and a very real threat and she wasn't forced into drugs by Jesse or anything. And also Jesse's for reintroducing her to drugs as well as slipping up multiple times (mainly letting Jane know about his job).
To be honest I kind of feel more inclined to blame Jesse because he knew she had a problem and he kept being with her anyway and the night she should have gone to rehab with her dad he should have done more to stop it and not let her do drugs with him like if he really loved her he should have done more to help her because she was weak and an addict and at that point upset by her dad you know finding out that she relapsed so badly. So we'll just kind of didn't act but Jesse literally sat there and shot up with her like actively did something that had serious risks that either of them could have vomited and died in their sleep so it was going to be worse. The Creator said he was going to make it so that he pushed her over on purpose and they were like no that's too far so they made it so that he was trying to wake Jesse in that and made her roll over so yeah I I kind of feel more inclined to be like Jesse you ruin this girl's life by not backing off when you knew she had been for 18 months
I’m pretty sure this was around the time he was attending that group therapy thing (that he initially started attenting in order to sell meth to the people there). There he was being taught to accept his past and being able to love oneself despite all the wrongdoings.
It's crazy how at the start, we see Walt as this guy with great morals and Jesse as this piece of trash guy but by the end, Walt has virtually no morals and we realize Jesse has the biggest heart of anyone in the show
Jane's death actually broke my heart the first time I watched it. Her and Jesse could've done anything but their heroin sickness drove them into it. Especially after being 18 months sober.
It was the moment I realised I didn't like Walter anymore. He was a villain imo from that point on in the show and that's a huge reason why this show is so brilliant :the protagonist is a villain. Jesse is the closest thing to a hero in this show. He becomes the audiences protagonist as soon as Walt let's Jane choke to death.
Amazing edit, and for the first time ever the music does not ruin it. It's not overbearingly loud either, to where you cannot hear the actors. thank you so much
People say fly is the worst, most boring and confusing episode in the series but no one realises this is the last moment of Walters sanity and humanity, this episode reflected his consciousness intelligence and reflectiveness one last time before he fell into the pool of murderous ink where he lost all his humanity and empathy, Vince Gilligan is a master artist and this is one of his finest pieces.

If you really think about it, Jesse is the hero of the show. He’s a very good person who bad things have happened to. The show does a good job portraying his vulnerability and the trauma that led to him being a methhead, dealer, etc.. but he cares the most about the people he’s close to

No breaks not ture marks nothing.. you'd think I'd be able to stop getting high after so many people died.. but I couldn't stop I wanted to die getting high addiction is THE ABSOLUTE STRONGEST AND DEADLY MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL disease... It's impossible to just stop if you're as bad as I was... I was the definition of f***ed up in Atlantic City for many years California 30 other states.. I wasn’t and still am not sure how to feel when watching that scene, because as evil as Walt is, you can’t help but love the character and root for him even when what he is doing shows his genuine lack of morals after he fully transitions into Heisenberg. But at the same time it’s directed towards Jesse, who is just as lovable of a character as Walt is. A real mind fuck.
I'm kinda wondering if ppl remember what Hanks wife said when she told Skyler death or knowing you're going to die makes a person change and it made Walt worry for his wife and children after death!! And I just remember now watching like the reunions and interviews of like it's been 10 12 years whatever long and they talk about how Cranston saw Jane as his daughter like he saw his own daughter's face and so when you see that now and then you rewatch The episode you're like dang he does like he's he's really looking. One of the saddest things to me is how sweet what was when Holly was born and when he had to say goodbye to her watching that again after everything is like dang he just did everything originally that he thought was for her future but then he ended up feeling like more alive and more masculine. But I think that's because he clearly had a mother who was a giant b**** and then he marries Skyler who I could not stand her from day one and then Marie like her nosy sister and so Walt never felt like he was considered to be a man and so being this badass drug lord made him finally feel like maybe if people in his life had respected him he wouldn't have gone so badly off the rails. But he made his choices so he got what he got but I still miss the show like a mother f***** and half the time I'm like damn I just wish he got away with it.

Yet funny how she would have killed them both
What’s worse is that Walter was not just a bystander to Jane’s death, he was a participant. Jane always made sure that she and Jesse fell asleep on their side after using so that they wouldn’t choke on their own vomit. They were both sleeping on their side until Walt broke in and shook Jesse to wake him. It knocked Jane onto her back. Of course, Walt can’t be blamed for Jane’s drug use, but she wouldn’t have died if Walt never came over.

Vince Gilligan said he thought this was Walt’s darkest/most evil moment…
Or maybe it was showing someone like Jack where Andrea and Brock lived.
@@willowandluka5302 what?
I would say it’s on the top 5, alongside:
- poisoning Brock
- giving Jesse to Jack + showing him where Andrea lived (he should have known that it couldn’t be safe for her and Brock)
- murdering Mike
- ordering the prison massacre (I know they were criminals, but so was Walt, plus they were already in prison and most of them had families to look after, just like Walt)
@@willowandluka5302he didn't want to kill Andrea.
Honestly, anyone else can’t stop watching this because of how sad it is.

"it's not your fault" sad thing is he doesn't know that Walt could've saved Jane.

@@eugeemz as finger said- they made a choice and it put them on a path

That's why when Walt tries to manipulate him in season 5 (when Jesse decides to quit and Walter tells him that if he does he won't get any money) it doesn't work. Or that's why when Walt tries to make amends with Jesse by giving him the same money it doesn't work either. The first time you watch BrBa you love Walter, the more times you rewatch the more you start to despise the man. Jesse, Mike and Saul are the best characters. I remember hating Skyler first time round but ended up sympathising for her with every rewatch even if I didn’t particularly like her
This was that one scene we all knew Walt was irredeemable he had hank and jesse against him and only when one of them was against him did he reject the other
when jesse found out and blamed himself and dropped rock bottom, idk that was the most surreal & tearful thing i’ve seen produced
Dude Aaron Paul solidified why he won the Emmys so many years in the episode after Jane died where Walter found him in a crack house and he just broke down crying from the guilt. And Bryan Cranston is always Epic as Walt. This show still I periodically circle around you when I have nothing else really interesting me to watch I'm like I'll just watch Breaking Bad because it always is like you know I forgot about it I watched it the first time I've watched it a third time now and it's like oh yeah I remember that episode that was intense.
