4:38 they were describing each others power. Kamo clan(kamo noritoshi) vs zenin clan(maki, mai and megumi). They both possess hereditary techniques of their respective clan. At 3:27 he also said if only maki or mai got the hereditary technique instead of megumi fushiguro( because megumi doesn't want to associate with zenin clan 11:41). The hereditary power holder is supposed to be the leader of the clan.

The elephant water splash was used to get out of confined space so that megumi can use larger Shadow pets(shikigamis). And then he used Nue(the bird) that has electrified wings which can now damage more because water is a good conductor of electricity. 13:06

Special (Strongest)
This goes both for Sorcerers and Curses. But a Grade 2 sorcerer is stronger than a Grade 2 curse though, as they are usually asigned a mission equal to their grade (and expect them to win).
A Semi is just an inbetween, a semi-Special grade Curse would be stronger than a Grade 1 but weaker than a Special. For sorcerers when they are a Semi Grade 2, it means they probably will be promoted to grade 1 for example.
That being said, when it comes to Special grading, some are just way more powerful than other special grades (Example Gojo VS Jogo).

I dont know but i didnt read the manga and went into JJK blind. I had no problems at all understanding the whole plot and everything around it.
The Guitar was is actually the only good thing about that Old Fart and I like that they just throw in random stuff like that, like Kugisaki using a Hammer and Nails to fight.

Noritosi kamo is apart of the kamo clan who have piercing blood as their hereditary cursed technique. Megumi is apart of the zenin clan who have 10 shadows as their hereditary cursed technique.

😅 till this day I don’t understand how peaple get confused I feel like there wasn’t even that much info,to me they explained it very well but again I watched it in dub so I didn’t really have to focus on reading and trying to keep up with the fighting as well. Love the reactions please finish season 1 watching season 2 and 3 will leave you speechless I recommend you don’t miss out on the rest of this amazing anime ❤️💯🫶🏽

Also sorry to say this but if your getting confused on season 1 I suggest you just enjoy season 2 and ask the community about what happened In each episode 😂but don’t let this scare you the anime is still amazing 😅
