I really like the hacklestackers for small dries. Easy to tie once you practised the winding around spanflex/thread and they look as sparse not overdressed or bulky.
Wow, that brings back memories from my early days fishing the Tupp's Indispensable for browns in the upland streams of Western NY back in the 70s. Think I still have a few in my box from the day. I liked to dub the body with pale yellow superfine with a few fibers of red seal fur blended in. Killer during our long sulfur hatches.
I tried to persuade my mate to get the tups dubbing directly from the original source. The farmer didn’t quite agree with his prize Ram receiving a back, crack and sack shave. No sense of adventure!😢
I’m sorry I can’t find the video about putting boots on for a tail. You really helped me out, I would shy away from the flys with biots and now I won’t. Thank you!
Damn bro pushing that head space to the limit 🤔 Al and Gretchen Betty have a good video on how to tie clean durable flies ,you should watch, Just a little advice, from me ,my company Trout Trickery Flies
This is nicely done. The position of the wing stack, the tailing, the sparseness of the body. Really nice. 😅
Always enjoy the tie-offs. Nice fly,Cheech.
The triple off is the best show around.

As you can see here I do a pinch wrap between my thumbs! Lol! The hackle stackers and the no see-ums
Super effective!

Love that, so you fish your PMD’s with the pink dubbing? Or did you use that to show the process better?
I guess I have too many thumbs on each hand. I have to use a gallows to tie hackle stackers.
Tailwater candy 👍🏼!
It looks like a hedgehog! With a pink belly.
Brigum, zoom out would ya? I want to see how he handles that loop while wrapping the hackle.
