It may have changed but 7 years ago I was there to ride space mountain and it was right before the park was about to close and they told people that the ride was closed and my mom, friend and I were the last people who could get on but there was only a few of others who got on and could have definitely fit more people. Like I said it may have changed since then or the employees were just being rude
Jolene picard When Tower of Terror closed at Disneyland to make way for the Mission Breakout overlay a few years ago, there were people in that line until at LEAST midnight-1am. I’m pretty sure thats way after park closing since DCA usually closes at around 10pm. If you’re there before close, you get to ride.

I was in row 4 of the yellow train, and I just wanna give a shout out to the cast member who organized the scream-off. Even though we lost, it was still one of the most memorable moments that I've had at Disneyland/California Adventure. It was a true honor to be a part of Disney history, and I am so ready for the new Incredicoaster when it is opened. Thank you to the entire group for giving this ride the send off it deserved. :)

@@TackyFlamingo Nah. Incredicoaster takes away from the coaster itself. Nobody needs a story being told to them on a coaster. They just need the coaster with good music. That's what Screamin' was. While I still ride Incredicoaster every time, I still miss the music from California Screamin'. Also the Jack-Jack shish-kabobs on the air time hills are creepy

I will miss this ride so much. It has always been my favorite ride at DCA, no, the entire resort. It will always have a special place in my heart and will always be missed. Thank you for the memories Screamin.
Matthew Galvin It's not leaving, it's just being rethemed, in fact it will probably be better since they are getting rid of those awful 1st Gen Intamin looping coaster trains.
Adam Smith I know. Don't get me wrong. I'm looking forward to Incredicoaster. It's just that California Screamin' has given me so many memories. On top of that, It was the first looping coaster I've ever been on. It may not be my favorite Intamin, but it's my most cherished.

I love the Incredibles... the first movie is seriously a 10/10... but I just HIGHLY prefer this ride when it was California Screamin’. Way better imo

While I am happy there’s going to be an Incredibles themed ride, I am really sad that they’re going to completely redo this ride. It was my first looping rollercoaster and I love the soundtrack. I just hope that the Incredicoaster is going to be a worthy successor to California Screamin’.

You guys do know that they will be keeping the exact same layout right? The ride will be exactly the same, they're not rebuilding in any way, shape, or form. All that's going to happen is a repaint and a new on ride soundtrack.

I was crying too. The ride will never run the same(they changed tower of terror and space mountain's speed and drops) and we have no idea if it'll end up good or bad since space mountain is alright now but not fantastic

DatBoiChristopher theming is EVERYTHING.
I am honestly so angry at Disney for taking Paradise Pier away. I literally grew up with it. I remember sitting with my mom and grandma looking over the pier at the Mickey head and the sun on Screamin and looking at the Paradise Pier sign. My mom is a single parent and used to take out student loans so that her and I could have a way to escape from life. I have pictures of me as a six year old leaning over and touching the fountain next to King Tritons Carousel. And when I was still getting over my first breakup I would walk underneath the tracks and listen to music while everyone was busy watching World of Color. It started with getting rid of the California sign in front of the park, then the revamping of soarin, and now Paradise Pier was the last straw. Just a few days ago when I was there I noticed the Paradise Pier sign on Screamin is no longer lit up. It sounds ridiculous but I immediately started sobbing. I'm so disappointed in where Disney is taking this both as a Disneyland die-hard and a proud Californian. I just hope they leave Grizzly Peak alone.

GalaxyNova | you can’t blame people for being upset with this. Some people grew up with this. I went to Disneyland when I was younger and I loved this ride, and then in December I rode it again and I loved it even more and when I saw this was happening I was so angry. I was so mad at Disney for getting rid of the entire theme of this ride (or lack thereof) and I was so sad to see this ride go. Yeah it might just be a redesign, but the aesthetic will be completely different and it just won’t be the same

This is was one of DCA last original attractions. All DCA has left is golden zephyr, jumping jellyfish, grizzly river run, soarin(sort of)

This was the first roller coaster I ever rode way back in my early teens, and I loved it so much. I only recently learned that it's been turned into a new ride, and while it's technically still there, I'm still sad to hear it's gone.
NOOOO MY FAVORITE ROLLER COASTER! at least its only getting redesigned but the fun-ness will be the same. I really liked the music though. I will go on the new one :D

The fact that so many people lined up just to get to the last take off fills me with so many emotions.
With the coronavirus going on, I've been riding rollercoasters with my kids for the past hour. I told him I wanted to show him my favorite roller coaster ever and he fell asleep before we got to this. Now I'm watching this over and over again. I can smell the park. I can feel the breeze. I can feel the jolts. Ugh my heart! The first time I ever rode this roller coaster I was 14 years old and my sisters and our lone wolf brother got on 23 times in one day. I'll never forget it. Self quarantine has me in my feelings😫😭😭😭😭
I was also there for the last day to ride California Screamin'. How lucky I was that I got the front row and the ride was running amazingly fast.
So long California Screamin'! Looking forward to what the IncrediCoaster will bring to an already fantastic coaster!

The incredicoaster is literally the same thing but themed with the incredibles and their character voice overs it's pretty cool
strangerkiwi11 dustin No, it’s cheap. It’s the same track, but that’s it. The themeing distracts from it just being a cool coaster, and slows down the ride. All of the props are really cheap looking. They are already outdated and the ride was just built. This is Disney we’re talking about, they could have made the ride amazing and they didn’t. They just put a couple of still objects. Also, the constant banter in your ears is so annoying. I just want to enjoy a cool rollercoaster. I miss the music, and I miss it just being an awesome coaster.

FOR EVERYBODY SAYING THAT THE RIDE IS STAYING THE SAME YOUR WRONG! When space mountain changed from ghost galaxy and to hyper space mountain it is a completely different ride. Or even when mulholland madness changed to sky school the ride is different even though ithas the same track!

I personally liked the new gotg over tot, but in my heart, there is no way the Incredacoaster will be more fun than California Screamin. Plus, the thing with tot is there is still the one in Florida, but that was the only version of California Screamin.

This ride has brought so many fun times with my family every time we would visit, and I’m so sad to see it go. Although I’m sad, I’m excited to see what the imagineers will bring to the table. Hopefully their ideas will be as good as we hope so that they won’t have to regret making it incredibles themed😂❤️❤️
Wow! That ride seemed to have no end!! I rode the velocicoaster last year at Island of Adventure and I can't stop comparing it to other coasters! None the less, It looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for sharing!
my family lived near disneyland until i was 9 and we went fairly often. i was always so terrified of cali screaming because of the loop, but finally got the courage to ride it not long before we moved away. wish i could ride again.

First it was tower of terror.... Now its my favorite ride ever.
Why did I shed a tear watching this video. I think it’s because California Screamin was the first roller coaster I ever rode and now they are changing it. I mean I will forever miss the soundtrack and the countdown for that ride.
I remembered riding California Screamin' during my Disney trip for middle school choir in 2016. Watching this for the first time here gives me the chills. I like the incredicoaster but will forever remember the California Screamin' and Paradise Pier before it was renovated in 2018 🥹🫶

I went here on New Years and rode this coaster for my first time! Wow I didn’t know they were getting rid of/changing it! Glad I got the chance to go on it before it was gone. Even though it’s little it’s still a lot of fun

I'll miss the music......it was awesome.....yesterday we went on it like 6 times....this has always been my fav ride in the park...it was sad to know it wont be the same. Plus all the christmas deco will be gone including world of color season of light....😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭....But I do love The Incredibles so Im excited to see the results.....

I honestly cried when I saw this, I love originals and I was never able to ride California screaming enough before it changed. I do like the Incredicoaster and I do know that it is track which a few extra “props” but once again the nostalgia hit me like a wall
At least we remember to celebrate its existence.
