I'm a United fan and trust me Lingard will definitely be remembered amongst United fans for his nonsense rather than his football.

Frankly, it feels like Gabby can't conjure up anything other than the "bitter owner" line when speaking of Simon. Mind you, he never explains how this is the case. Doesn't take much for Simon to dismantle him every time.
Gabby clearly explained it, it's just you Simon disciples will not hear a bad word against your master. He can't handle that these people he thinks are below him are richer than he is. I’m 67yrs now , and have followed united for as long as I can remember, and linguard ain’t no Manchester United player , when they thought the could move Manchester United forward with his like and rashford, martial etc that was the time united fell of a cliff , fraud comes to mind when I think of this type of player , Simon spot on and for all mutterface’s wokeness he has been sat down again , well done Mr jordon .
I'd imagine Lingard is nothing like what someone your age would have been used to. Football has gone down a weird and wonky road for as long as i've been watching and thats getting on 25 years now. I doubt lingard would have been good enough to lace some of the boots up for past generations of talent.

I’m a united fan and I agree with Simon these players are over payed for mediocre performances. Jesse basically retired after united gave him the last contract and focused more on branding and social media. He even had the nerve to want a testimonial for being a bench player for 10 years.

I've got to agree with SJ, apart from 6 months at west ham since the 2018 World cup Jessie Lingard has wasted the last 4 yrs of his career. Too much money and no Ambition to play, just look at Sterling, he could've stayed at City played around 20 games a season and kept picking up trophies but as left for more game time at chelsea
Wasted? Not everyone has to be Cristiano Ronaldo. Lingard has made it to the PL and played at the top level of English football. Only 0.029% of players that start out playing football, get the privilege to play in PL.
Lingard played at the highest level of English football which in itself is a big achievement. Just because he is content in life and doesn't feel the need to chase trophies doesn't mean he doing the "wrong thing".
Different people have different priorities in life and the way I see it, there is nothing wrong if a person is not ambitious.

Jesse Lingard made his own choices and other than an FA Cup winning goal, will be long forgotten. Honestly, i don't think Lingard really cares as he has a good lifestyle without any big responsibility. Simon Jordan is carrying Talksport, Used to be a divisive personality as a football owner but I can't imagine there's many football fans in the UK who don't hold him in the highest esteem as a sports pundit. His biggest asset- You can't pull any wool over his eyes whether you're a sports star, promoter, owner, agent whomever he knows the business inside out and can read everyone's motives and intentions.
At first when I started watching Talksport I honesty thought I would not agree Simon at all, however I have been surprised that I am agreeing to 99% of Simons opinions. Simon is the only one worth listening to on Talksport most of the other punits are clueless, Jaime is one of them.
