When you said that the Danish did something to your brain it gave me an idea - you should do a vegan weed brownie/cookie/gummy candy video since it's legal in Canada now!
At first, I thought you were going to use marzipan in the almond cherry ones where you used chocolate in the other ones. I feel like that could be amazing! Or maybe that's going overboard...the custard sounds incredible on there.
Btw. I love your channel and your recipes and unfortunately I am not a Vegan, yet I like a lot of vegan meals. Oh and you got me hooked on those Vegan Apple and sage sausages 😍 Thank you for your hard work and I will be looking forward to your next video.
Don't give up trying to go vegan and focus on a balanced vegan whole plants foods based lifestyle and don't fast and don't expect a vegan lifestyle to fix every health problem if any that you are experiencing. Because not all health problems are food related (the majority are) but some will be genetic and other environmental factors.
Wayne Little it’s not easy! I tried for about a year but gave up. I’m a chef at a country club so I have to prepare non vegan food for a living. It was really hard to try to cook without eating or even tasting any of my dishes. So now I’m just a vegetarian. Plus I felt like it was weird for me to call myself a vegan but cook non vegan food for a living. I would cook vegan food if I could but unfortunately it’s not up to me.
Denise Camarillo thanks, but how weird is it for a vegan to have to cook meat and dairy for a living? It’s not easy to not be able to taste the food I’m cooking!
@@ccap3211 I completely understand sometimes were stuck in jobs that go against what we believe in but it depends because if you're vegan you're doing it for the ethics and nothing should stop you from turning your back on animals. So people just choose to be plant based

We don't do lent. We do Daniel fast in January. It is 21 days. That is my chance to show my husband how vegan eating is so so tasty and much healthier. I haven't gotten him to convert but I do make alot of meals vegan and he can never tell. He doesn't even know my sugar is vegan 🤣 But last year I made your recipe with the portobello mushroom caps with chimichurri sauce and he LOVE LOVE LOVED it. Said I had to make it again. I love your channel, I never comment but damn it girl!!! Your recipe's are amazing!!! I'm not on IG but the next one I make I will email! Just made the salted caramel & dark chocolate danish! My brain also did that thing 🧠 🍫 ⚡️🤩 They taste incredible-like a pastry I’d get in a fancy bakery.
the pastry won't be as fresh or crispy! But reheating in the oven possibly would fix that, then add the toppings. But yea you can make the toppings in advance of baking the pastry
Thanks to another round of testing, I have even more food intolerances than I thought, so I don't even know how to start approaching these. They look so delish and I'm so sad I can't have them. But at least my gut is happy now...
