Hey Shane, Wyatt here (Co-founder of Demio) - I just wanted to say thanks for the honest, and critical review. I think you did a great job of highlighting both our strong and weak points. We're making some big improvements in Q4, and early in Q1 of 2020 to the replay experience, chat area, and more. We would love to set you up with a review account at that time. I'll keep in touch!
Thank you for your comment, Wyatt! I'm open to re-visiting Demio next year and I'm glad to see that you are open to my criticism. I know it doesn't feel nice to see a critical review, so congrats for that.
Anita Brown just responded to your comment. Thanks for your feedback, and I’m sorry about your experience with not being able to set a registration limit. Hopefully will be a feature we add in the near future.
@@WyattJozwowski Useless reply for me now, Wyatt. Tell the people who registered for my webinars using your pitiful platform, who I now have to go and ask to register with a different webinar platform.
Yes, Cost is a big fact here. If you look at the users of Demio, it may be the first time users preferring Demio and once they are through with the process or is comfortable to do webinars, they will be switching to the most famous one now. If you take the case of India $49 is a big money. In fact, the market for a webinar in India will be half that of entire Europe or so. Hope, Demio team will look into this aspect
Hey Shane love all your reviews. You do a fantastic job. I am curious if you will be doing Webinar Jam review? My other question is what are your thoughts on the ability or lack of ability to show PPT animations. I know that some offer it and others don't. Do you see this as a limitation?
Thanks for your review Shane. We were looking at getting Demio just yesterday as we want to get into auto webinars, just in time webinars etc. With your review we have decided it's not optimal. Also surprising to find is the whole issue of not being able to stop people registering for an event if the total number is reached. While not something that's common, when you add the other weak points you mentioned Demio is just not fully ready for prime time in our opinion as you said.
Thanks for your feedback! The good news is that in response to my reviews, several webinar providers have contacted me saying they're working on improvements and features to fix issues I pointed out. So maybe we'll soon have been options to choose from. :)
hi @activegrowth, I am using demio and have quality issues - the image is blurry and people are not able to follow what I click. I am presenting the software, so it's quite important for attendees to be able to follow up on what I do. Any idea what might be causing this?
If you're on a fast internet connection (preferrably plugged in via ethernet), then the issue is either the platform (Demio) or a slow connection on the receiver's end. If many people on your webinars are reporting these issues, it's going to be either your connection or a problem with the platform.
ALso you said you can "override" the fact that the ending page promotes Demio. Is that by uploading a Resource? Thank you for being one of the very few channels to cover this resource in depth
Hi do you know if you can save the replay webinars offline, to say, upload it to a different platform? Such as; if i hosted a webinar on Demio...can i Save it to later on upload to RUclips?
Hi Sean, I'm not sure what you mean. If you mean parts of the video that show my live video as well as the desktop: to do that I record both at the same time and combine them in editing.
RUclips live is good for livestreaming, but it's not good for webinars. You could maybe hack it with an unlisted livestream or something, but it's a "you get what you pay for" kind of situation. more on this here: ruclips.net/video/7Y8312hRdSM/видео.html
Eye Opening and fantastic review...I especially loved the fact that you did both user and admin view..Great Work!
Thank you!

@@WyattJozwowski Please see my scathing review of your ridiculous platform above. I've never experienced such high levels of inefficiency, EVER.

I like the quality of the video too, best have seen personally. And for me the most important.
Thank you very much! I'm happy to hear that.
Once again great info Shane, thank you.

You can set a custom URL to redirect attendees to, after an event.

Yes, you can view your past webinars in Demio and download the replay video.
Can u please tell me how you get your own video image on the view of your desktop ?

@@ActiveGrowth He's referring to that picture in picture thing you did a video on awhile back.
@@lawrencemartins709 Oh, I see. We've got a tutorial on that over at Thrive Themes: thrivethemes.com/video-bubble-effect/
