Care free curl also has a gel activator! When I couldn't find the proclaim gel after watching your video, I used that one and it worked very well. I think my hair prefers the cream though. But I love the whole line! Very inexpensive, but effective. Great video.
I'm almost willing to say, you were an official (unofficial) spokes person for Proclaim because I went to get it (to try it) BECAUSE OF YOU, and couldn't find it in TWO different Sally's! 😄
The Care Free curl activator is great. It's a yellow thick cream. Also the Care Free moisturizer is great. I never used the cream you're trying. The S curl activator and the Hawaiian Silky activator are great too. Both the Care Free products have the word Gold on the label. The snap back also brings curls back.
You know what?? I actually love your hair big like that. It doesn't have to be an every week style but maybe every once in a while. I usually have to take my pick and pull at the roots for that look. I love it!! It's super cute!!

My magic combination is the curl activator, ecostyle olive oil gel, and Cantu define and shine custard. Those three together are pure magic. It was the first time I’ve ever adored my curls 🥰

Girl you hair looks like mine. I have high porosity hair and it always feels dry no matter how many different products I use. Check out the Curly Chemist. She is a young sister who is a cosmetic chemist. She like other says we need to go back to grease. Yes old school grease because it is a sealant. Also, for HP hair she says we MUST pre-poo with an oil like coconut oil and some others. I'm starting today with her recommendations!

Girl! 😂😂 You forgot what it was like with Jheri curl cream you do not add water before using Carefree curl 🤷🏾♀️ water just helps to dry out your hair when using carefree. Carefree is a lighter cream/activator
I was watching your video and I noticed you were using water with the Carefree activator. That is probably the worst combo. If you had applied it to your dry hair you would have gotten a completely different look.

Have you tried the Proclaim Gel Activator? I think it would work better than Care Free Curl for short hair.
When you complete the process, do you dry it with a regular dryer? Only one step and that's the Carefree curl activator right.
Most of the time I sit under a hooded dryer for a while and then I use a diffuser to dry it the rest of the way.
It actually looks good. I like big hair though.🤷🏾♀️
