I was so happy to find this video! The Grandeur of the Seas was my very first cruise-back in May of 1998. It was my Honeymoon, and I booked the DaVinci Suite #8502, situated one door away from the Captain’s wheelhouse. It was an absolutely amazing room with first class butler service, and the ship was top of the line at the time. I am amazed-but not entirely surprised-that it is still in service today! I’ve been on many incredible and massive Royal Caribbean ships since then, but would love to take one more cruise on this amazing vessel!

Thank you very much for sharing! In one month I'll be in this cabin's sister cabin 8001 and I cant wait! I was SO curious about the tub that you shared so wonderfully. It seemed like some pictures showed it as a jacuzzi and others didnt, so it was good to get an actual good look at the tub!

Thyri Carver thanks! We did love this suite. And that balcony is ridiculously large. Have a great time (and tell the concierge I said HEY 😊)

@@evanchevalier-jordan8331 I loved 8001. There was no ship noise, no hallway noise, and no neighbor noise. If you have rough seas, you will feel significant movement but nothing dramamine or bonine wont fix. The cabin steward when I was on Grandeur was just a real angel and took excellent care of us.
