Being honest here: as soon as the boat explodes and you shoot towards the island on jet skis, you just know that this is going to be one of the best games you've ever played.
Just imagine when some nation like this would invade some small countries.. Well, if that happens, you will have to call 2 agents with unlimited bullets of handgun to defeat an entire army of rebels
Griffin Wiard funny enough, the U.S Military becomes a huge plot device in the next game, Time Crisis 4. I have suspicion that the rogue U.S Military Unit, Hamlin Battalion, may have stolen Zagorian Federation tech to help develop the Terror Bite Bio Weapon, after VSSE intervenes here.
All of the games carry a "Cheesy 80's action movie" theme to them, right even down to you hearing the director yell *"ACTION!"* every time you're meant to start shooting.
I wish they would just make a Time Crisis movie now. They wouldn't have to worry about taking it (too) seriously. Heck I feel like Michael Bay could probably direct this.
the way he says the words is etched into my mind from 10 year old me going to the movie theater and playing this on the arcade there. Im glad I’m not alone
I love this game, i spent everything on it at the arcade, but... I still can't get over these shooter games where it's ONLY 2 MEN sent in to fight a LITERAL ARMY!
I used to play the hell out of this game at this pizza parlor that had it 12+ years ago and seeing that first level again after all those years hit me with such a wave of nostalgia that I could actually smell the pizza from that restaurant
Just found that out after checking her roles for other characters since well, she did a pretty good job with the role of Clementine. Honestly, I was not surprised she also did a role from an arcade entry I enjoy playing since middle school, lol.
This is such a fun game and this person plays it so well it’s hard not to play the game hit free I can’t count how many cridits I went through to beat this game.
back in 6th grade me and my brother played this shit all the *time* (lol) Time crisis is a masterpiece that people who grew up without arcades will never understand
Alan Dunaway, and Wesley Lambert with Alicia Winston. In the main game, Alan & Wesley are more cooler than the the agents from the previous Time Crisis game. While the supporting character Alicia more awesome and action supporting to the two than main character than the previous supporting Chrissy; from how she's a tougher fighter and how you play her in her own supporting Time Crisis 3 game.
I miss this game,, since 14 or 13 years ago i always played this time crisis once a week in sunday hahahaha.. i played this game in TimeZone in my country.. so, along 14 or 13 years, i never play this game again... i want to play this game again but this game is can't play in the smartphone, i think the child in my country who was born in 20s and 21s is never play this one, because this is a smartphone era 😀😂
Daris Rizky you can still play it by buying a PS2 and the CD (for the CD buy it on tokopedia, search "Kaset PS2" amd you'll find a lot of dealers) and dont forget a Guncon(?)
Man, I MISS playing this in the arcade when I was in 8th grade! I'm 26, now, and this bring back memories. This is so challenging but fun. Like F-Zero, memorization of levels and fast reflexes is the key. This wasn't the first rail shooter I played (that was Virtual Cop 2), but this is definitely the best. I never got pass Stage 1 boss due the fact the arcade was not on Free Play and you only get hit 3 or 4 times.
I've been looking for this game for so long. That last time i played it i was about 10, im 23 now. I played its arcade cabinet at a movie theater and the only thing i could remember was the beach landing at the beginning.
"The island nation has been invaded by a professional military force with full-spectrum capability. The world will respond by sending in two guys with some handguns. Roger that!"
I feel like we should give the enemy types names. Like the yellow guys that have automatics are “Elites”, the enemies with shields are “Shield Guys” the blue enemies are “Triple Attackers” and the enemies that wear red are “Accurates” and the enemies that have wolverine claws are “Claw Guys”
*Giorgio Zott:* (attacking, shooting, dash, and using his sword to strike Alan Dunaway and Wesley Lambert very quickly) *Tails (from Sonic Forces):* Woah, this guy is faster than Sonic!
I always play the TC series at the arcade cos it's my favourite one to play there everytime. This one is my favourite out of all of them, I've tried them all except no.4
honestly this series is prolly why i have a weird fascination with rail shooters a played the heck out off when i was a kid rarely passed the city level though
Considering the U.S Military shows up in Time Crisis 4, I’m surprised they didn’t take action against the Zagorian Federation during the Astigos Island Invasion. The United States being a part of NATO, would have considered this an act of war against Lukano, and depending on how close it was to the mainland, it would’ve been a threat because of the nuclear weapons they brought in, like the Invasion of Grenada. Probably would also bridge the gap between Time Crisis 3 and Time Crisis 4, with the rogue Hamlin Battalion perhaps getting their hands on Zagorian Federation Tech, to develop the Terror Bite Bio Weapon.
That's a PDA - Personal Digital Assistant. Before the expansion of mobile data you used to have a phone that only made calls and texts and limited web browsing charged by the minute. If you had serious disposable income or were a yuppie you could get a Personal Digital Assistant or PDA that was essentially all the functions of a current smartphone but you needed to get on wifi. Some really high end ones also had phone functionality being effectively the first real smartphones.
Honestly, I find Russian invaders similar to Zagorias Federation because they are both federations, invade the small land (although Astigos is an island and Ukraine is the mainland), and both have Z symbols (Zagorias's flag have Z symbol and black and orange color). I think Time Crisis partially predicts what happens today and the Astigos Island is Crimea because both Russia and Zagorias invade the island that is part of their opponents' territory.
It's funny how similar it looks at times. Others have made the comparison too. I suppose 30 years of cold war era action movies, that vibe from the Japanese/American perspective makes this look like a textbook Soviet/Russian invasion.
Remember very well this cool game. With fantastic action scenes and nice music. Nice concept the only thing to do was pay attention to the targets, change weapons and shoot. Great adrenaline!!! Too bad the light gun only worked with my old CRT television...
i always remember how to identify the enemy here -green (normal) -red (instantly fires red projectile everytime you pop out of cover) -blue (special weapons) -yellow (carries ammo) -yellow with smg (armored)
This was the only video game my dad would play with me, this game means a lot to me. (he isn't dead or anything, he just got really bad motion sickness when playing anything else)
What is it about rail shooters that makes it so interesting. I think I know the answer they had to make the rail shooter arcade game very entertaining so you were enticed to put more quarters into the machine while you were playing it. If only games on the consoles with microtransactions had the same feeling but they don't.
Imagine spending years in ninja training, learning how to burrow in the sand and do acrobatics and claw moves, only to get gunned down in seconds by two dudes in leather jackets.
I really love this game, had 2 light guns, one with vibration and a sliding recoil hammer, (tho i never used itwasnt USB, no adapter) but no one to shoot with, my lil brother aint into thinly basketball and most my friends, act like they into this but they faking. "with the light gun, I like how i perfectly aim " it really needs to be seen, words cant even explain, hand straight like jango be, use green mangoes to hit ripe mangoes, dont even gotta climb the mango tree" haven't done that in years, outta practice now really, but when the zombie apocalypse start its just like riding a bike i figure, I would shoot limbs to make em dance then head or chest, from as far as the cord would allow on a crappy 20 inch CRT TV, it kinda have the that GTA 5 ragdollcrash dummy physics in that sense...too bad when i got saved I crush all my own cd songs and archived other artiste albums i listed, & that brand new light gun with recoil that was never used. I cut the cord & used it in a prop gun in a church play. anyway if u must play a game with guncon timcrises is the best, buy the ps3 version before Sony closes the store
Being honest here: as soon as the boat explodes and you shoot towards the island on jet skis, you just know that this is going to be one of the best games you've ever played.
yup
Still is, even in 2019
it's been more than a decade of playing it
Kezajaws I can say that because legit everytime I see a Time Crisis: I play it. 2p if my bro’s with me.
I al;ways loved the time bomb part.
*3-2-1* _BEEP-BEEP-BEEP_ *BYE!*
"Oh my Go-"💥💥💥
Just imagine when some nation like this would invade some small countries.. Well, if that happens, you will have to call 2 agents with unlimited bullets of handgun to defeat an entire army of rebels
The U.S Military was too busy getting oil from Afghanistan, so they called them.
Christopher Abenoja and with a supernatural speed to avoid bullets
Sounds like Metal Slug
Griffin Wiard funny enough, the U.S Military becomes a huge plot device in the next game, Time Crisis 4. I have suspicion that the rogue U.S Military Unit, Hamlin Battalion, may have stolen Zagorian Federation tech to help develop the Terror Bite Bio Weapon, after VSSE intervenes here.
That would be wild.
I always like the openings of the Time crisis series.
That 80's action feeling fits like a T.
All of the games carry a "Cheesy 80's action movie" theme to them, right even down to you hearing the director yell *"ACTION!"* every time you're meant to start shooting.
yup
I wish they would just make a Time Crisis movie now.
They wouldn't have to worry about taking it (too) seriously. Heck I feel like Michael Bay could probably direct this.
Not just '80s, 1990s, too.
This was my childhood! I'm so happy I found this video
I really like the way he says the words when you select a weapon.
Me too
Machine gun
Shotgun
Handgun
Grenade
Pokemon Delibird o7 thank you for already saying these words from the farther reaches of my mind
the way he says the words is etched into my mind from 10 year old me going to the movie theater and playing this on the arcade there. Im glad I’m not alone
I like it when he says action
8:26 - "Are you sure you know what you're doing?"
Driver: "Yes, I know they're here. I can just feel it."
Cameron Fife lol 😂
totally not what im thinking
2019 here. i chuckled but hard.
Cameron Fife 😆
To this day, I still don’t know how exactly they both survived at the end, but I’m happy that they did.
I love this game, i spent everything on it at the arcade, but... I still can't get over these shooter games where it's ONLY 2 MEN sent in to fight a LITERAL ARMY!
With just a handgun each
@@pedrosoares7273year late but tbf, this game let you have more than a pistol. Even then, the default weapon hits hard for a pistol
20:06
"Are you sure we're heading the right way?"
"Actually, I was just following you."
W H A
The Timing with the *W H A* and the gunshots were perfect.
Always loved the dynamic of Alan and Wesley, unlike the other protagonists they are actually a best friend duo and it shows.
THANK YOU. I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS ACTUALLY. LOL.
Potential meme though xD
21:32 Best cover ever.
T-Spin Triple!
lmao agreed
lol yes
Honestly Wild Dog in this version looks like what would happen if Vash from Trigun took a villainous route.
I loved stage 2's boss, from his fighting style and laugh, to the setting.
ikr
4 years late but, the scream while he falls just isn't good
I used to play the hell out of this game at this pizza parlor that had it 12+ years ago and seeing that first level again after all those years hit me with such a wave of nostalgia that I could actually smell the pizza from that restaurant
ACTION!
brings back so many memories...
Joey Pisani I first heard it on a Time Crisis 4. That existed when I was a kid and never played it.
No one:
Absolutely no one:
Not a soul:
Wild Fang: casually kicks forklifts and steel girders like soccer balls
19 minutes and 20 seconds in, and that's your first damage?
*You're a mad lad!*
We need this on PlayStation VR!
That and Time Crisis 5 for that matter too!
freakyfornash already is a thing!
Ever heard of CrisisVRigade?
Yo Namco introducing a new Time Crisis game for VR would be pretty damn awesome
@@D_LGND its great but i kinda wish namco actually make a time crisis vr game officially where you could play all of the time crisis series but on vr
I love the intro, they tell you how wonderful the island is and it shows the island’s peaceful look, then BOOM, TANK!
Then the music becomes epic.
Did u guys know Alicia’s voice actress also voiced Clementine from the Walking Dead :)
Just found that out after checking her roles for other characters since well, she did a pretty good job with the role of Clementine. Honestly, I was not surprised she also did a role from an arcade entry I enjoy playing since middle school, lol.
it's funny that me and my siblings always shoot the nuts 😂😂😂
This is such a fun game and this person plays it so well it’s hard not to play the game hit free I can’t count how many cridits I went through to beat this game.
I remember playing this in an arcade nearby the beach with my brother. I miss those times...
Yeah good times
20:02 heavy meme potential
That's Time Crisis for you. The better you play, the more epic the game feels. Especially with its kickass soundtrack.
3:24 insert to be continued meme here
back in 6th grade me and my brother played this shit all the *time* (lol)
Time crisis is a masterpiece that people who grew up without arcades will never understand
I played that when I was little shorley for many years this was one of the best games to pay money for
6:28 when I was little I thought that cannon-looking thing was a tank.
I use to play this with my Dad. ❤
Ophelia Sheep loves Sans the Skeleton same here, really miss those days
Me too, I really miss those days
Time crisis 3 is the one that wanted to replay again. (sadly I can't find time crisis 3 arcade machine anymore)
Yeah. The arcades are hard to find these days. The games are getting old.
"it's only a matter of TIME before the whole island is occupied" I see what you did there...
I remember beating this game at a shakeys pizza restaurant 😂
3:14What do you think you're doing here!? This is Restricted area! Stop Right there!(beep)BYE! WTF! (Explosion) BOOM!
How wild dog survived in the explosion twice. 😂
Try 5 times, dude doesn't know the definition of death, just killing
He survived this one, too.
Wild dog has protagonist plot armor
so many memories
So many memories of playing this in arcades growing up. Really takes me back.
This game has such a great aesthetic to it. Very PlayStation.
The nostalgia. It hurts.
alan looks like hwroarang from tekken.
Don't you.think alicia is beautiful?
+Xavier Newkirk everyone think so
Hahahaha that's right
Because time crisis and Tekken were both made by Namco. The resemblance isn't coincidental lol
Been rewatching all of the time crisis for like the 10th time, never bored from them... always a good background music for me... idk why lol
This was my favorite time crisis when i was a kid
This is the best game in the series. Something about destroying everything in a tropical island satisfies me

Finally after living for 30years,i know how this game ends..thank u sooo much!!!

I like how the dude who stationed the goons put the guys with pistols on the lighthouse rather than people with rifles at 3:38
Fond memories of playing this at Laser Quest tag back in the day
Time crisis were always my favorite games at the arcades
"The island nation has been invaded by a professional military force with full-spectrum capability. The world will respond by sending in two guys with some handguns. Roger that!"
Ah, I remember playing this on my PS2 way back then. Good times.
one of the old games i sure do miss
24:33 this second boss lols to much and he doesnt even talk, just lols until he screamed to death
being honest Time Crisis 3 still the best arcade game for me
I feel like we should give the enemy types names. Like the yellow guys that have automatics are “Elites”, the enemies with shields are “Shield Guys” the blue enemies are “Triple Attackers” and the enemies that wear red are “Accurates” and the enemies that have wolverine claws are “Claw Guys”

I remember spending hours at the arcade playing this thing with my friends, best shooting game besides from jurassic park arcade
honestly this series is prolly why i have a weird fascination with rail shooters a played the heck out off when i was a kid rarely passed the city level though
Need a time crisis 5 playthrough but this video is so DAMN cool man
Right... I'm glad they're alive, but them walking away from the silo unscathed is just absurd
dude wtf, this game used to be really hard for me. damn i miss the old days, playing this game with my mom on my ps2.
My uncle gave me this game I loved playing it even though I barely could get to the special missions where you unlock the sniper
It was fucking lit playing it with a friend on those individual machines
Same.
This game will forever be timeless
Nostalgia playing this game at the mall at tilt
4:52 shoot the drums with grenade instead of handgun/machine gun to get 5k points x 3.
22:21 you can shoot the brown crate to make a explotion.
what if they made a prequel to time crisis 3
That's a great idea! It would be really clever if they made Wild Dog the main villain. No one would expect him to be the bad guy again.
Cameron Fife Wild Dog has appeared in every main series Time Crisis game as far as I can remember.
They did. It's included in the Time Crisis 3 PS2 release. You play as Alicia.
Now what we need is a sequel to 3
Considering the U.S Military shows up in Time Crisis 4, I’m surprised they didn’t take action against the Zagorian Federation during the Astigos Island Invasion.

Still the best game in the series in my book. That Wild Dog & Wild Fang fight is yet to be topped.
This game is just so damn good
I think you were played so well with 2 continues in this game. I think your reflexes were very nice and you were played so carefully.
I miss playing this game
Same.
You still got it with your video game skills👍👌📿
15:19 the map on Alicia’s phone(?) is waaaaaaay ahead of its time.

Time Crisis 3 is such a badass game!

Someone should do the time crisis guns for Airsoft. Like having conversion kits for pistols.
Remember very well this cool game. With fantastic action scenes and nice music. Nice concept the only thing to do was pay attention to the targets, change weapons and shoot. Great adrenaline!!!
Too bad the light gun only worked with my old CRT television...

-yellow with smg (armored)
This was the only video game my dad would play with me, this game means a lot to me. (he isn't dead or anything, he just got really bad motion sickness when playing anything else)
holy FUCK this game is awesome!
I'm so glad my dad bought a PS2, a GunCon 2 and this game
Man. I played this when I was like 7 or 9 years old
Love the soundtrack at 3:28
That first stage is iconic in its own right. I dont think theres a light gun game as popular as Time Crisis 3
damn the first stage seemed a lot harder as a kid on ps2 controller
I only use MG, SG and Grenade whenever I face a difficult enemy or boss~
This game was my childhood man

oh the nostalgia

Damn, I need a remaster or remake of this game, so many memories. NAMCO should bring Andy Sinden into the fold, I miss light gun games
Imagine spending years in ninja training, learning how to burrow in the sand and do acrobatics and claw moves, only to get gunned down in seconds by two dudes in leather jackets.
With a shotgun
