The Luke and Chewbacca molds are both 10+ years old and are outdated by today’s standards, and the stormtroopers aren’t much younger. The line has moved Towards deep cut single joints the work well
Yes, they are ancient but then why is Hasbro still reusing those molds? I believe that Chewbacca body mold was just recently used for a GameStop exclusive Wookiee…
My problem with this line has been even if the looks of the figures are improving we are loosing articulation. We lost the thigh swivel and we lost double jointed knees and elbows. And while the pinless does look cleaner And the new clone mold does work better with single jointed it just sucks watching other lines get loaded up on better articulation while black series continues to cut corners
Completely agreed! Hascrap has made too many crapolorians. Too many weird, bizarre, crap. Mo more stuff from shows with no fan support. Go back to concentrating on fan base oriented figs. The old republic, redesign the stormtrooper, already outdated. Do more obscure droids, more troopers from battlefront!😂❤
Everybody’s complaining about a $25 figure not being a hot toys figure. I get it that some black series figures aren’t the best articulation but they’re a cheap plastic figure. If you want better spend more money.
Nobody in this video compared the Black Series line to the Hot Toys line. I was comparing it to the Marvel Legends line which is also manufactured by Hasbro. It’s a perfectly reasonable comparison to make since they’re both the same price point.
He says he won't go into all his figures which I understand but literally ALL these are old molds or re releases of old figures so new collectors can get old figure. Why not 1 new mold in this ?
Why aren't you looking at any newer figures? You're comparing 10 year old figures to modern GI joe and ML???? That's like me saying my 89 honda sucks compared to my 2020 camry. 😂
It’s not an accurate example though. Honda isn’t still using the 89 model over and over again. Hasbro just recently reused those body molds. You rarely see Hasbro reuse 10 year old body molds for the Legends line…
@MilkMustaches007 you point is valid but still you comparing molds that have been around for years. Gi joes reuses some old molds too. The thing is those molds are still fairly new because the line itself is young. If you count unique parts, blacknseries has every line beat hands down. The brand new gnawgahyde uses a ton of peices from the old roadblock or gung ho. Not sure which one exactly but you get what I'm saying. Blacknsereis will give us a new han or chewing you can bet your but. But if they can release the same old han figure on a Kenner or potf2 card back and make some money of course they will do that. I just feel you picked some of the worst figures and I haven't seen that FO figure get a re-release ever. Only when the movies were out and hell that was almost 10 years ago for TFA

@@MilkMustaches007 them reusing outdated molds is definitely an issue
@MilkMustaches007 they're used old molds in gi joe too. It's just that line is newer all together.
