From Persian to Indian Inspired carpets | Obeetee | iDAC Mumbai

Obeetee is a Century-old brand that has been carrying the century-old legacy forward. The hand-made and hand-knotted carpets originally reign from Persia. The Persian Craft eventually evolved using the local material available in India. Obeetee Museum collection still houses the Persian rugs with the same narratives that 300-400 years ago, they have been kept constant in terms of designs and colors. There has been a journey from Persian to Indian- Inspired rugs that Obeetee has traveled by collaborating with notable designers. The India- Inspired Rugs in collaboration with Designers such as Tarun Tahiliani, Abraham n Thakore, Raghavendra Rathore, and Shantanu & Nikhil is called the Proud to be Indian Campaign.
