99.9% of dream theater songs are do-able on a 5 string though, the only reason to need a 6 string is in the top frets of the C string which are rarely used, everything else can be written around on the G string

You're gonna need thicker guage strings first. Stock strings won't do it, guessing this is drop A So the tuning would be AEAD but that way you won't have the top G, my sugestion would be to play anything lower than a low E an octave up, or get a 5 string
I want to say I don't think Myung uses three-finger plucking that consistently through the song, but you make it work with awesome control! The split tempo/time on the solo section always throws me off, so additional kudos for getting it :)
