See, this is why the cheating doesn't really bother me. Nevermind the fact that cheating is a tradition in this dumb sport. Every team has done it. Teams that win, teams that lose, they all cheat some way at some point. I don't really care. BUT. The Astros were new to the AL as of a decade ago. There was no history there, no real rivalries, as far as other AL teams were concerned, they may as well have been a new expansion team in their league. What that scandal did, along with the winning, is create immediate animosity between the other top AL teams and fast tracked a rivalry between Houston and the AL mainstays that would normally take other teams decades to build up to. They hate us and I love that.

Truly sad and carelessly inconsiderate. After talking trash to philly fans all over social media, which philly fans deserved, my fellow Astros fans then proceeded to leave all their garbage and trash from the parade celebration for others to have to clean up. No problem carrying full bottles and cans "to" the parade. But I guess it was too much of a burden to carry out empty/lighter cans and bottles. Stay classy.

After the Astros lost WS game 3, the game that McCullers pitched and gave up 5 HRs, Brantley called a team meeting and told the guys that he did not like that no one responded back to pick up McCullers. The Astros got shutout in that game. He challenged the Astros to respond the rest of the way. The Astros then went on to win the next 3 games to win the WS. Of course it helped that Javier, Verlander, and Valdez pitched those 3 games, but the games have to be played anyway. Brantley is also a true leader in the Astros' clubhouse
No team has ever gone undefeated in league playoffs and then gone on to win the World Series as best as I can think of. This team did that, and were one really bad game and one Verlander goose egg from going perfect. They are amazing.

But, the core is young, and they have some of the best scouts & player development people out there....When you consider Bregman, Pena, Altuve, Yordan, Tucker, Framber, Vasquez, Abreu, Springer and Correa were all drafted/signed/developed by this organization, they have the potential to win a couple more, and THEN I'd say Dynasty. But I'm not sure I'd say that w/2 in 6 years.

Great question, I was at the 17 World Series games, no way were they relaying sounds. That place was so loud you couldn’t hear yourself think. Watch how many times in the playoffs this year the umpire called timeout while the pitcher was in his windup and he couldn’t hear from just 60’ away.

This is interesting....I'm not sure I'd say "dynasty" w/2 world Series' in six years, despite how consistently great the Astros have been recently. But, the core is young, and they have some of the best scouts & player development people out there....When you consider Bregman, Pena, Altuve, Yordan, Tucker, Framber, Vasquez, Abreu, Springer and Correa were all drafted/signed/developed by this organization, they have the potential to win a couple more, and THEN I'd say Dynasty. But I'm not sure I'd say that w/2 in 6 years.

Great question, I was at the 17 World Series games, no way were they relaying sounds. That place was so loud you couldn’t hear yourself think. Watch how many times in the playoffs this year the umpire called timeout while the pitcher was in his windup and he couldn’t hear from just 60’ away.
