Why else do you think MLB and Yankees fought hard to not release the letter MLB sent to the Yankes where they found that the Yankees were cheating 15-16? Ironically, one of the players during those years was the one that took the Yankees system and modified it for the Astros. I remember reading that when Beltran got to the Astros, he told them that they were outdated and that's when he created the sign stealing scheme.
Then there's the fact that I keep seeing Red Sox fans talking shit about the Astros. One dude that has a podcast what saying stuff about the Astros cheating and I pointed pointed put that the Red Sox were also caught and he started arguing with me. He even had the audacity to say that the Red Sox didn't use electronics. I responded by quoting Manfred saying that the Red Sox used electronics and he never responded. In terms of career years at OPS, K rates, HR rates - it was ridiculous. Some of those players in 2017 had OPS that was 200 points greater than their career. Too corrupt. -First Rookie SS To win a Gold Glove and Tied for 1st for a Rookie to Win MVP in the ALCS and WS & is 34 Million a Year cheaper then Correa
-Will have a Cy Young award winner in Justin Verlander following a Year and a Half break for Tommy John Surgery & Recovery
-Framber Valdez recorded 25 straight Quality Starts in the same season
-Our 2 Catchers Maldonado & Vasquez Caught the Most Baserunners trying to Steal and led in Defensive WAR

I kept saying after the NLDS that this Phillies team reminded of the 2021 Red Sox more than the 2019 Nationals & 2021 Braves, just because both the Phillies & Sox weren’t hot going into the postseason, unlike the Nats & Braves. Both teams just caught fire in the playoffs, winning the wild card games & knocking off 100 win teams in the DS. Only difference is one ran into the Astros in the ALCS, and the other in the World Series.. but like you said, both won game 3 by big margins whilst hitting a ton of homers, giving them 2-1 leads, only to lose the next two at home and get closed out in Houston by only scoring 3 runs total the rest of the way. Crazy how similar the situations were, and my theory ended up being very true. Fantastic video though, sir! Love your channel.

Can he get better? yeah. But a 289 OBP. 22 BB and 135 Ks is a tough hill to climb. Plate discipline is often a talent, not a skill. Meaning, you can only improve so much.
So you have Altuve/Betts - Advantage Betts (close). Alvarez/ Freeman - Advantage Alvarez (close). Pena/Turner - Advantage Turner (not close). And this is the jist of my comment. Not that Pena is bad. But that he's not Trea Turner. A 302/355/487 career slash. Steals at an amazing 85% success rate. And only struck out 100 times once. This year with exactly 100.
After Pena's remarkable post season, while bathing in the afterglow of success, it is easy to get carried away. But the Dodgers had three genuine top tier players, two of which have won MVPs. Anyone with a bit of baseball sense could see they were headed for good things by building the team from the ground up with talent, in-depth knowledge and science. Having said that, the illegal signstealing scandal shows that the players themselves were apparently not convinced they would be good enough. So, if anything, do not blame the people that called them out, blame the ones that needlessly participated in it.

Barry Bonds is probably one of the greatest players ever, but he is still waiting on an invite to the hall. A few others are in the same boat. I am just saying, yes, cheating is bad. And No, it will never stop. Every so often MLB has to "Make an example" But in all fairness, they want the cash rolling in, so they often over look a lot of stuff. This was a very good world series to watch if you are just a basebsall fan. My takeaway is how it again shows that dominant pitching usually beats good hitting. The Astros are a very good team. I have to throw out the earlier era and the 2017 team with cheating not seen since the 1919 Black Sox scandal. It was surprising how it was so widespread and like Shoeless Joe Jackson there were plenty of players who knew it was wrong but also did not want to become whistle blowers. I actually did not realize until just recently when reading the Keith Hernandez book where he concentrates on how difficult it was early in his career how much a difference it makes at the major league level to have the next pitch tipped off. Congratulations to the Astros!. This is a winning team Houston can celebrate.

I remember going into Minute Made Stadium time and time again, and I don’t think I ever saw us win a *single* game. We were not a premier team, to say the least.
