Nice to see a Western family visiting India and enjoying themselves. I do hope my countrymen are treating you well Lawrence- for many of these people you are the 1st Black person they are seeing in real life. Keep building up your knowledge of Hindi!! That will help you get into the best spots that only the locals know. Better prices, better quality, and stories that you will never forget. Also, don't be afraid to bargain as much as you need to! Paying the tourist price of 2-3 x the local price for every auto ride and when buying goods can add up and get really expensive!! Hope young Nyh is enjoying the food and eating well also, these are memories he will keep for a lifetime! I hope you will get a chance to catch the England national team's fixtures in the World Cup as well. Interesting group with the US as well. All the best from a Punjabi in Chicago, USA.

When you're back in the UK, in London area there are several restaurants called Dishooms. They're based on Iranian cafes in Mumbai and have great desi food. 👍

I do not there is any other country quite like India when it comes to food and the variety. Awesome and thanks for sharing your experience.

Parsis are basically Persians from modern day Iran who came to India 600-700 years ago to escape persecutions by the growing influence of Islam back then. Their numbers are quickly dwindling because they marry mostly within their community. Some of the richest Indians are Parsis. So very happy to see someone cover them finally.
Sat Sri Akal from London! I cannot express how much i am enjoying your content, on your India travles. Thank you so much for the love and respect that YOU have both shown up and down the country.
