HI Bio Buddies, what type of coloring do you use? is it food coloring or a normal pigment? I experimented with this with my students but were not so happy with the results yet, but these are very nice colored ! I hope you see this and hope you will answer :)) best ! Desiree

loved the video! can you make a video showing how to make organic dyes to dye the leather?

Hi @dipra! Thanks for watching. We haven't experimented much with organic dyes, so we'll look into that some more! For now, we suggest using beet juice to get a pinkish red color.

Hi! How did you do that snake skin texture to the blue scoby? Thank you!

Hi @Anne Liis Puhk! We placed the SCOBY onto a mesh container which helped give the snake skin texture. Hope that helps :)

It looks very fragile to use it just like that. I heard (The Thought Emporium channel) that you need to treat the dried SCOBY to make it flexible. Do you have any cool ideas on that?

Et cetera. ETCetera ( please, don't be offended It's et cetera, not ex cetera) . :) Do some research to find natural dyes - those fake chemicals in the plastic bottles are super bad for you and we are trying to teach people how to be healthier, right? :)Take care

Hi! Do you know some papers or webs where I could find natural dyes for kombucha ? I found some but they are meant to dye normal fabric, and I don’t want to try something that could altere the PH of my kombucha jar
