- The all-new Mercedes GLC replaces the GLK premium compact utility. Based on the C-Class, this new Mercedes GLC300 has a bigger interior with room for 5-passengersw, roomier cargo area and a new 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. For not being a car reviewer she seems really relatable and isn't so scripted! It actually looks like u guys are having fun and it makes watching it fun!
I like this whole family dynamic zack. Maybe throw he kids in for back seat reviews.
+John Joshua Put a sock in it, buster
I don't give a shit about his kids.
I think it's great! that Zac and his wife did the review !! For the Family cars and Suvs. Good Job
The two of you work great together- keep doing the reviews as a team.
Agree that it is great that Zack included his wife (who did an awesome job!) . Buying such a car (especially family car or suv) is really a family purchase nowadays.
+Adrian Z its MILF buddy
Mercedes has really stepped up its game the last couple of years. Can't wait to see a review of the GLC Coupe when it's available.
This is a great review. When reviewing a family-oriented car, having dual points of view is really helpful.
Nice point of view, man!
These reviews are good, especially because they give the real world perspective from someone who might not be a car person per se and the most likely buyer and driver of these types of vehicles.
Love the GLC, love you two reviewing the car together even more! Would love to see that more often.
Bought one for my mom. For the money, it’s a great car, very comfortable and it’s not horribly expensive on gas.
Well done. Doing the review as a couple is brilliant and entertaining. Gives you a male/female/family perspective we don't see in other videos. I have found myself watching reviews of the same cars from both men and women to understand both perspectives, and here we have both.
Literally bring in your entire family- love these reviews!
Awesome job both of you , the one thing I wish you could add was some night time driving ie how the headlights work, dash and accent lighting etc
Got to say, I personally liked the lines of the GLK350 a lot better.
Good review on this GLC. I think it's a winner for Mercedes. They also seem to be building quality vehicles lately, reminiscent of what they originally were known for. I hope the trend continues.
Does the infotainment support Apple Carplay?
We got the one with the amg package ,much better looking than the base model. The 4cylinder turbo engine is surprisingly powerful (performs like a 6cyl).Steady /stable ride on high speed, and good braking system.
Whatever thing these two review will coming out fantastic.
I've been a big fan of Zach's for years. He's just plain awesome. You guys make a great team, fun dynamics! 10/10!
+PD Lynch Pipe down Schlomo
Andrea is doing a great job. Your videos are even better now
Bought one, this review helped. A lot. Thanks!
some people might not like your videos with your wife, Andrea, but I think with more videos with her in it will win some people over. People don't like change. I liked the video, should do more of it together for family cars
How easy is it for the passenger to use that control on the centre console, or for that matter a left handed driver?
Great review I am thinking on getting one GLC 300 2019 what do you guys think? Would you recommend it?
What a Lovely couple. Excellent and dynamic review. Thank you.
Loved the way you hugged her at the end of the video :)..Also, nicely presented review.. helpful..Thanks !!
Base GLC, Q5 or RX350 pick
What's the trunk space spec?
So which one would you prefer -
X3
Q5
GLC
?
X3 . The others have poor reliability .
love the energy, she is a keeper!!!!!!!!! great job you guys
I just got this vehicle- love it! Thank you for a great and honest review.
Hi
Nice to see a lady who enjoys driving a fine vehicles.
Hola, mis hijos y yo seguimos tu canal desde México y este video, como todos los demás, ademas de ser profesional y objetivo, nos encanto la relación que llevan en matrimonio !!! Los admiramos y respetamos !!
im looking at this over the rx 350, x3, and q5. seems like you would agree?
I purchased this car and I love it. Previously had E500 two different cars but both well made.
GLK has V6, 3.5 L, 303 hp...GLC can not beat that
Very good review. It was nice to get a second opinion.
Can you test drive 2019 C43 please
C class vs GLC ?
Great review guys! You two are so entertaining and pleasant to watch!
So great to get both points of view. Real world info that is useful - thank you!
High quality car. Drive it since 2017.
Zack...you've just reinvented the meaning of the term 'car review' and it's all because of 'The Boss'...Awesome work...I'm definitely taking notes
Hey Zack......you made a review of the 2009 or 2010 toyota corolla xrs with Lacie......cant seem to find that anymore.
Love to see you include your family!!! Awesome video!!!
What?! Power tailgate not standard?!
Any idea if they are sticking with a 4 cyl. diesel. Or will they upgrade to their much more powerful 3.0l V6 diesel .
In Germany is still the 2.2l turbodiesel GLC 250d (204 bhp) on sale. The GLC 300 is here sold as GLC 250, so i guess Merc will sell the 250d as GLC 300d in Canada. Only the GLC AMG 43 (367 php) will get a V6 engine.
I really liked the way you presented it: very 'customer perspective'. Keep going!
Did a storm just blow threw?
Excellent review! I love the family oriented style of your review. :)
What do you recomend for a full size SUV from the three piont star?
+Basil Akasheh Dacia Duster
mercedes GLS
Andreea, please, point the lack of a full size spare wheel. Cutting weight it's not a good excuse. Tirefit kits don't work well and a space saver is also not a reliable solution as the range is limited as well.
At least give me the choice to tick it as an option. Or leave room in the trunk for one and I'll buy one full size wheel myself
It has run flat tires that can go 60 miles on a flat so any repair shop can fix it. Tires being put in every car is a waste because 80% of people will never use them
I heard there is an issue that if you come to a stop and turn off the car, the car stays in neutral instead of going into park. So if you release the brake and you're on a hill, the car starts to roll back.
Just ordered the C43 AMG to replace my A45 AMG, quite a difference but looking forward to it!
People love when Andrea reviews...I wonder why.
why the long face?
What happened to the other cohost?
Your reviews are always in depth. Keep it up.
Good video, no issue with your wife in the video. For sports cars keep it yourself, but for SUVs and family cars this is great as it gives 2 perspectives.
Shut up autismo.
Funny, don't know why, this video just popped up in my feed on new year's eve 2022/2023. Interesting to see how they have evolved as a couple with their reviews.
Yeah, we're older now....hahaha
I was wonder my self, then i realized it was from 6 years ago. it was just in my feed today.
Great review by both of you!! Love all of your reviews.
PS - just got a 2016 Audi S3!! love it!!!
Funny to see Andrea being ‘new’ to the RUclips world here.
Great idea for the family-style cars.
I love watching you both. I really enjoy the honesty.
looked at one like this the other day and just wondering what every one thinks of this! it's the first Mercedes that I have ever bought! looks good and rides very good tho
She didn't like the Range Rover Sport, because she thought there weren't enough 'buttons'. I hope she finds the amount of buttons she wants in the GLC and that she's satisfied.
Jason Slone no woman is ever totally satisfied
Was considering the GLK until you called it a "Lifted Station Wagon" 🤢
😂😂😂😂
looks like an old man's car
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oh no! 😆😅🤣
great review! love it.
PRESUMEN DE LOS PREMIOS QUE TIENEN DE POST VENTA Y NUNCA LOS ENCUENTRAS, SABES CON QUIEN ME PUEDO CONTACTAR...AQUI EN MEXICO EL GERENTE DE ATENCION A CLIENTES SOLO ME DICE QUE SI SIGO TENIENDO PROBLEMAS CON LOS FRENOS...Y LA CAJA DE VELOCIDADES.
IN my family, my wife picks the cars and she does well except for one Subaru that we traded fast.
Nice job.
What about the new facelifted GLC? Curious how it is against the new X3.
Have the 220d 194hp and it rides like a dream.
I think the glc is going to get refreshed for 2022-2023. If you saw the new c class redesign, the interior and exterior should look similar to the new glc
Zack. I saw your video on the Acura RDX and you said it was best in class at least when it came to value. Does RDX still hold the title? I'm assuming the GLC is in the same class
+Richie Rich RDX is the best value for $$$
+Motormouth Canada Thanks Zack.
Very nice family oriented review of my next car, which is going to replace my GLK 250 Diesel.
Woah, I just got to the part where you said it's $44k. That's pretty fantastic for an SUV like this.
Great video, and it's nice to have your wife's point of view as well. She definitely knows a thing or two about cars ;)
GREAT Job!!!!...it warms my heart when I see "Loving" couples working together!
you can review the new q7
My wife loves her GLC300
My Grandpaw will love it!
great video two different perspective on the same review.. excellent review.
A good solid well equipped vehicle.
The problem is how it compares with the Porsche Macan ?
What about GLC300 fuel consumption?
22 City, 28 highway, and 24 combined
For me is was the Front suspension and dash board squeaking at 1,000 miles. Then the brakes started squeaking at about 2,500, Then the driver door spring broke at 5,000 and now the dash board makes a clacking sound from the driver side dash board. Windshield wipes went bad at 6,000 miles.
Your wife absolutely makes this channel 😉
how car does Andrea have
+Jake Samra Audi A7
love your review Zack ! just saw VW had put your review of Golf on their official website.. wow!
I think paying 44k you should get real leather standard
Same, that's the beauty of German Luxury cars though. None have leather standard unless it's an S-Class
I think 44k and it comes with a full time driver.
I agree. It took me by surprise to hear that faux leather was even an option.
The reason why not is because the 'MB Text' material is actually better than leather.
@@jonothandoeser ------MB Tex=Vinyl material, same stuff GM et al put in cars as standard equipment years ago.
This actually seems like an extremely versatile replacement for your A7. The colour and design is great and besides, it's a MB.
Also were you and your wife filming this in Vancouver West?
I liked the review a lot. I subscribed! But I'm curious, does anyone know what kind of car his wife owns?
I've been with the GLC 2017 since and had tried the 2020 also, it's the same. Suspension is the worst part on this car, it feels like a groceries cart whenever you drive on the slightest bad road (almost the same in the 2020) Transmission and throttle combo: is indeed super jerky when doing stop and go in either traffic jams or making quick stops.Just those 2 things are to the point that it's embarrassing to me whenever I have guests on board "my Mercedes" so I must be be extra careful about my driving to avoid those situations as much. Throttle is artificially slowed in an exaggerate way in comfort mode and very frustrating to me, I find it dangerous at times when you need to insert yourself in traffic from an intersection! this means you will never get the power you want when you need unless you almost floor the gas paddle and takes at least a good 2 secs. The sport mode is way better for that and I would keep it on at all times but 2 problems; 1) the RPM will raise by 1/2x1000more as long as sport mode is on 2) Even if you don't care about gas and pollution in sport you must enable back at every start of the engine. Sound system before 2020 is super bad! no bass, muffled sound no matter how you try to adjust it sound like ass, such insult at this price point, Kia as a way better sound system in my friend's sorento by far. Air suspension already leaking from visit to chalet, and no I have not used the car in any abusive way!! More very annoying things: after a while the center console cracks during driving as well as my driver's side door plastics. They did fixed it at the dealer by tightening the screws but it only lasted for a month! Then you also get the air-vent traps adjusting airflow inside the vents that started making noise every 20 seconds or so. For the 2020 I would also like to point out that they could have refreshed the outdated front grill design. I would also say that the paint is of a poor quality, not durable. the inner lower door steps will get rusty quickly. My recommandation: Don't buy! There are way better built and durable vehicles out there that will give you much better value for your $$ especially if you don't lease. And between the 2, as I also know BMWs, I believe the X3 is a much better car and experience all around.
what would you recommend instead?
@@vikramkhalsa Volvo, BMW, Acura
The X3 is a very reliable SUV and the driving is the most fun if you care about that, the Volvo is very well designed inside out, very comfy but I don't trust reliability especially if you live in 0/-10C environment and last I know they where owned by the chinese and tent to like using cheap parts. Acura is interesting, I think will give you the most for $ and parts and servicing is always a better value, i don't have metrics on if its reliable though. I personally will go X3 and you might want to check on their new electric version coming very soon.
that's twice this month he has let his wife out of the house. very impressive
+dave houston That's not nice. Please apologize.

I still prefer the look of GLK, this GLC is too girly. So sad they stopped making GLK.
I'm a girl and I hate the look of the GLC. lol Bring back the GLK!!!
Yu Liu the Glk was too heavy and sluggish I have a glc300 you should drive one it’s very quick and fun to drive the gas economy is outstanding
GLK looks better
I kinda like both for different reasons, to be honest...
Keep your opinion to yourself
This has reliability questions....what are the stats?
I reviewed the GLC 220d back in November. Great SUV but I miss the GLK, felt more honest.
Then you are the only one missing it lol. No one liked that shoe box.
+Richie Rich I'm sure the Subaru Forester was flattered though
Its great review, Thanks a lot for you and your lovely family.
love everything about the GLC
no offense but i think zack should do review by himself
+lexusfan100 I will be doing most of the reviews, just a few with Andrea for family style videos. The MX-5 and Mustang GT350 will be all me…Stay tuned
+lexusfan100 I thought having Andrea in the video was a great touch. Gives a different perspective and she spoke very well. Really looking forward to the GLC 43 amg.
P.S.> Just tested a GT350 myself and really enjoyed it. Interested to hear what you think.
+lexusfan100 Given that she's a big part of the target market for a car like this, I'd disagree.
lol
I think his wife did great
Could you review the 2016 Ford Explorer please please? Great video as always!
I bought this new in 2016 and still love it to this day! I haven’t needed the warranty, but it’s about to expire and I’m a little worried. 🤔
Great to hear!
Nice dynamic between you two.
