It's common when you live out in the country. I live on a dead end road on a fairly rural backroad that connects to another backroad, so I usually have both windows while I sleep during warmer nights. Plus I have guns so I'm not too worried about any intruders.
That second story is so disturbing. Imagine that speaker being thrown at you in the night in the middle of nowhere with no one. It’s kind of a psychological nightmare.
the united states of terrorism did do that in the invasion of Vietnam. They would hang speakers in the forests and when the night comes, they would play audio of where people are screaming as if they're being killed and tortured in hell and speech in Vietnamese saying that you're all gonna die go back home go to your families and messed up stuff to scare them and break their will and fighting spirit. Didn't work as much as an american being on duty as a tunnel rat though.
That third story really fucks with me. Like as the kid in that situation, I wouldn’t know who to trust. That guy outside the house warming him could have very easily just been trying to lure him out and kidnap. Also what a great guy, he saved the kid.
@@superbseducer It was also wise on the guy's part, I mean, it would have been safer to get OP out of the house, but he knew there was no way OP would leave while he was standing outside, so he did the second best thing
I was thinking the same thing. I think he didn’t call the cops right away because he didn’t want them distracting from keeping an eye on the whole situation. All it takes is you looking away for a second and then you can’t find them.
All great ideas! I don’t know how he would find a sewers horror story though. No one goes into the sewers lol. Unless you’re in a real life version of the movie IT
As much of a hero the guy in the 3rd story is, he could have very well been the intruder's partner. These predators have all kinds on convoluted tactics and stories to lower people's guard. That's what's scary to me about that last one.
One simple question: why not calling the police while trying to warn/catch up with the boy? Look like a contingency plan to me, like "if anything goes wrong I pretend to be the hero and you back off"
Can we just appreciate the efforts the guy in the car took to insure the kids safety. Things like this make humanity better Edit: Holy jirens toenail, THAT'S A LOT OF LIKES, THANK YOU
So we’re saying in the third story, the guy following kid didn’t see the car flashing and ruining his cover once? And didn’t hear the guy banging on the door shouting there’s an intruder? Hmmmmmm...
3rd story: What a twist...the guy you thought was trying to hurt you was actually trying to protect you from another guy who was trying to hurt you. The irony. The weird creepy irony.
The last one is a spin on the old urban legend story of being pursued by a crazy person, flashing their lights & driving with full beam on behind you at night. When you eventually stop, they rush over to you and you think you're about to be attacked. @@joshuaposey6027 Seems every country has a version of this story! It's up there with the "don't get out of your car" story, after you hear a repetitive thudding on the roof (deranged escapee from a mental asylum banging the head of his latest victim on your car).
@@MikeLawtonUK yeah i remember watching a ver of this story in snarled, but with even more of a twist. the guy protecting u from that person in ur car is also trying to get u himself👀

The fact that in the second story the guy who threw the speaker came to the house with no fear of the gun and drew something with blood makes it terrifying even having a gun there will make you shiver
It don’t matter what gun you got or how big, if someone is stalking your property and you see them , or signs of someone there, it will make you shiver. tho having a gun provides that bit of confidence one needs in that situation, i can’t imagine being in a situation like that and NOT having a gun. That would be 10000x more horrifying, 0 way to defend yourself in the event something is wrong.
That third story reminds me of a story I heard years ago about a woman who went to a convenience store. As she is pulling out of the parking lot, she cuts off a truck driver. He honks his horn. As she drives she notices that he is following her. She gets further into the country and he is still following her, which is unusual for a truck that size. She goes back and forth in her mind about what she should do and her options are running out (as her gas is). She takes an obscure route that she knows he wouldn't use and sure enough, he continues to follow her. She races home, thinking that her husband is home. When she gets to her driveway, her husband's car isn't there. She makes plans on how to get into her house, lock the door, hide and call the police. She is racing for her door. The trucker pulls out of his cab and starts running toward her. He screams, "Lady !! Lady !! I am so sorry that I scared you--but the reason that I followed you home, is that there is a man crouched down in the back seat of your car!! The man jumped out and ran into the cornfield, never to be seen again. He had a knife. Because the truck driver was sitting up so high, he could see directly into her car...he could see THE MAN WITH THE KNIFE!! 😳😳😳
@@oddbigking9069 I heard it many years ago but I looked it up on internet and there are many variations. Google ""Killer in the backseat'' Villains Wiki Fandom. There is an American author by the name Jan Harold Brunvand (aka Mr Urban Legend) who writes about it. I was a kid when I heard it and I t was told that it happened to my neighbor (which I believed of course, because I was kid) Supposedly been around since 60s
As a hairdresser, I would love to hear some hairdresser horror stories! I don’t mean someone’s hair getting screwed up, I’m talking clients who have stalked their stylists, creepy house calls (idk if anyone even does those anymore), stuff like that. This should be interesting 😁
It depends on the type of work you do and the kind of run. Physical labour makes you dirty and sweaty, not a state you want to meet your neighbours in, and an evening run doesn’t make you sweaty if you do it regularly, it’s more relaxation than sport. Even some office workers do it like that, either because their office is too hot or because they have to run around a lot. Really depends on the circumstances but I wouldn't call it odd per se.
I've tried many others, and I agree, mr nightmare is the best. I think mr ballen is really good too, but he does a lot of other types, so he's not strictly scary stories.
It's a good story but that's all it is, I have seen this exact same story with the occasional detail added( for example sometimes a child's red ball keeps appearing on the front porch) all over RUclips. It is obviously not real as every time it is told as a true story that happened to the person telling it. It is on loads of creepypasta/spooky story channels. It's still a good creepy campfire tale but it definitely isn't true!
Seriously. Anyone who legitimately believes that crap is stupid and/or reckless. Edit: Some of you seem to really not understand that reckless is another word for careless. If you knowingly put yourself in situations that can increase your chance for dangerous encounters, then you're being reckless. If you don't "have crime" occur in your area, then you're relatively safer, but that doesn't mean you are 100% safe from crime. If you want to get serious and argue with someone, please do it with someone who cares as I truly don't care about y'all enough for all of this effort. So please stop trying to argue with me about basic crap.
@@mintslice8516 I'm glad you're assuming I am also not living in a place where crime rate is low, but the fact of the matter is walking at night isn't a safe practice in general. Animals for example are another reason to be cautious, but if you don't want to exercise caution in life then that's on you.

@andria quest depends. Maybe the "hero" guy was calling out the operation for reasons we didn't get to know. I mean, why asking the kid to call the police when you fucking saw the creep stalking him along the bushes roadside?
@@francescoiacoangeli2975 We don't know how long ago this story was, so it might be the case that he didn't have mobile phone. This would explain why he didn't call the police himself. If he was an accomplice pretending to be a good guy, wouldn't it make more sense for him to tell the kid that there's a robber in the house and that he needs to get out ASAP, rather than call the police?
I have a true weird/scary experience that happened a couple days ago: I had just woke up, I was sleeping in the living room because my room upstairs got too hot. When I woke up I went to my room to grab my phone, and as I was walking up the stairs my sister walked past me, but when I got up the stairs, it looked like someone was trying to open or close the bathroom door upstairs because it was shaking like someone was pulling it from the inside, I thought it was my cousin, Addy. A couple hours later when me and my sister were getting ready to go my grandmas house, I asked her "where's Addy? I haven't seen her all day" and she said that, Addy was never here, I told her what i saw. The thing that scares me the most is that, I know it wasn't my dad either because he was playing C.O.D. in the game room, and my mom was watching him play, and we're the only ones in the house.... BTW I'll try to keep u updated if anything else happens
I like how the first person gave an elaborate explanation of their entire life and neighborhood just for basically nothing to happen to them at all. Last two stories were good though

The fact that in the second story the guy who threw the speaker came to the house with no fear of the gun and drew something with blood makes it terrifying even having a gun there will make you shiver
It don’t matter what gun you got or how big, if someone is stalking your property and you see them , or signs of someone there, it will
make
you shiver. tho having a gun provides that bit of confidence one needs in that situation, i can’t imagine being in a situation like that and NOT having a gun.

first story: this dude showers and THEN goes on a run???
That struck me as odd too.

The guy in the second story sleeping while all the windows were open in the middle of nowhere, is either extremely brave lad or dumb lad.
The third story was freakin scary as HELL. I would never allow a 14 year old to stay home alone overnight let alone for an entire weekend.

UGH RIGHT WHEN I DECIDE TO FIX MY LIFE AND WORK OUT, AND ITS 10 PM
